i didnt really notice this when i read this news about a four days ago,but i just noticed it while browsing through the afternoon news: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/wires/afp/article-2913128/Chad-votes-send-troops-Cameroon-Nigeria-fight-Boko-Haram.html. . from the above news,i was able to actually grasp the fact that the chadian president, idris deby, and parliament sent chadian troops not only to "assist" cameroon in fighting BH,but also TO RECAPTURE BAGA.Baga is nigeria's territory, how can chad deploy military firepower to free and capture nigeria's territory without GEJ's consent?,what the fvck is going on with our presidency, senate, and house of representatives?,why isnt the military protesting?.soon chad will begin deploying their MiG-29 Fulcrum supersonic fighter jets into borno,to 'liberate' it from boko haram, and we will continue gawking at them till they plunder our country in half?.@oga agaugast, henry,Naijapikingidi, stillchris, please tell me something is being done to address iminent invasion. |

Msauza: @Evan, governments are non-profit making organisation. Whatever money that they acquire is revenues and it has to be exhausted by delivering neccessary services to the people. However, the government of SA is also involved in business through State Owned Enterprises (SOEs) which comprises, -Eskom, PIC which bought Dangote shares, Telkom, SAA, Sasol, etc. Here is a complete list: http://www.gcis.gov.za/content/resourcecentre/contactdirectory/government-structures-and-parastatals Yet the government does not see these institution as businesses rather an operating hand that helps it to augment expenditure in infrastructure and to deliver tertiary services which are not basic in nature. As current the government is spending $80 billion for three years which was made available by the government and SOEs. http://www.sanews.gov.za/south-africa/state-spend-r800bil-infrastructure well done mr adamu m'uazu, you appear as clueless as your nigerian counterpart. |

mzilakazi: Treasury chief. Our government has huge investments internally. That info is outdated we now make $105 billion and we have a major private sector which also help allocate funds to build infrastructure. but you once claimed that your government doesnt operate any business or investments? |

overhypedsteve: let us all hope it is the first. Cus the second is dangerous although his refusal to share intelligence with other members of the task force is also a big problem. A problem that may have led to the capture of a FOB if jonathan wasnt such a....misguided fellow,he would have understood the danger of allowing chad to amass too much military strength, chad is very close to our northeastern border, allowing chad's continous military ambition to fester will pose a regional threat to us in the long term.apart from being unstable, chad is an islamic country,it also has expansionist and totalitarian ideals.why do you think russia is against ukrainian membership of NATO?,because ukraine is on russia's doorstep. |

MikeCZAR: Nigeria desperately needs help or support if i can put it that way. Your military is totally ineffective against BH. there is no clear cut strategy for fighting islamic terrorism and religious radicalism,at this point, the world is innovating on new tactics.our military has so far been very effective in checking the activities of these psycopathic jihadist, other countries with terror problems have been overun in a short while, but nigeria has been battling and containing boko haram for 5 years, with fantastic success. #JeSuisLord'sArmy |

overhypedsteve: idris deby of chad is a joker. They asked him to commit troops to a multinational standby force he withdrew the troops and left a vulnerable FOB to fall in the hands of BH. Since he doesn't want a nigerian commander to boss his boys in the MTF then let him go and crew up with weak Cameroon. After all they are the same francophone countries. I know this francophone countries are busy preparing the stage for a French controlled lake chad basin. idris deby withdrew his troops 2 days before boko haram attacked baga.that can only mean either of these two things: *that he probably recieved intelligence report of that attack before it happened,or *that he has a cordial relationship with boko haram . . |

Msauza: Zuma is serving his last term and will never be the president again. In four years he will be gone for good. thats a small relief for SA then.but the fact still stands that you arent economically strong enough to withstand the fiscal backlash of such an exorbitant project.you'd ruin your already unstable economy, and plunge your country into a century-worth economic depression. |

saengine: A power grid is as rare as unicorns in Nigeria. Which explains why almost all of you have generators. Very simple. hahahahahahahahahahahaha....by the gods!,you are daft!,how can a country distribute even a paltry 0.005KW of power without a grid? |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by EVarn(m): 2:06pm On Jan 16, 2015 |
Msauza: From tax payers money. We have annual budget worth $110 billion and will it be hard to set aside $ 10 billion every year for the next ten years only for this project? if you set aside $10b per year for 10 years, how many phases of the project do you think it would take before operation?.even your paltry $100b revenue is barely enough to cater for your lazy stomachs. |

Msauza: SA electricity has been up and running for ages even before my grandfather was born. My father and his family when they first arrived in SA, electricity was still a dream in Nigeria and even to date it still a dream. hehehehe....come now,mr msauza, stop being emotional about this,i hate to see your cheeks smudged with bitter tears.it would be better for you to buy a generator soon, you would be needing it. |

patches689: And yet, factually speaking, Nigeria is the 16th most failed state on earth a rather lofty but misguided title that was unceremoniously bestowed upon us by an unsavory organization with the unholy intent of maligning our esteemed national integrity.only 3 out of our 36{+ the FCT} states are being tormenting by rebellious jihadists.even out of those three states, adamawa and yobe states have no terrorist presence.only under 12 borno towns are currently being temporarily occupied by terrorists. |
