these islamic terrorists should be eradicated before they begin to learn how to fly military jets.they're already learning to use heavy tanks and SAMs,and ISIS recently developed a rifle that can propel bullets as big as human arms.its only a matter of time before they think of training to use jets.these guys have the time, resources and manpower for such training. |

why dont they ask ali modu sheriff?,i heard that he went to kano to lobby for the plane's release, when his 'request' was denied,he went off to abuja to 'persuade'{more like 'order'} mr common-stealing-isnt-corruption to put a leash on the security forces, release the plane to chad and allow boko haram to continue.it does not take a nuclear scientist to guess what will happen next. |

Bawss1: Thank you.
Without properly understanding the report our vociferous Nlanders who have an opinion on just about everything are making the kinds of comments that brand them as stark dunderheads. I mean it's absolutely shocking how people who aren't in any way better informed than the average Joe on the street come here to spew all kinds of fantastic rubbish. right on point.many people on NL dont know the first thing about politics and international relations, yet they come here to suggest, assume and conclude on matters well out of the scope of their intellectual capacity.many people think that presidents and governors are the only ones carrying out all the duties of the executive, they dont even understand that most of the time, the citizens are the first ones to receive breaking news and reports, long before such a report reaches the president's desk.SHM at such ignorance. |

i fail to see where the guy "alledged" that france is behind boko haram.most of our reporters here are unprofessional, and most of the readers are just too dumb.the guy was simply talking about nigeria's policy to neighbouring francophone countries and france policy to nigeria in context of boko haram{terrorism} |

Jona must wake up!!! what do you suggest he do?,fight with them?,can nigeria afford to fight chad and boko haram at the same time, especially considering our current military decline?.not forgetting if we fight with chad,we'll also have to fight france. |

MikeCZAR: No, they joined the programme in 2005. Years back Denel was contract by the FAB(Brazilian air force) to prepare facilities for production in Brazil. After SA did a lot of work on one of their missiles, even supplying them with the seeker Joining the programme meant they jumped from 3rd Generation to 5th Generation. so what are you insinuating?,that without denel, the FAB cant developed a powerful AAM?.the FAB hasnt developed a SRAAM yet because of the cost of production and maintenance of equippments they dont see the need. |

or it could be that the whole debacle was a set up to transport arms from russia to nigeria, while throwing america off the loop by arranging an "arm seizure".america has been blocking nigeria's arm supply, and they have the capacity to intercept even the weapons we buy from the east 'cos the aircraft transporting them would inevitably pass through airspace owned by american allies, thereby giving them the chance to intercept our weapons. |

Zoharariel: You are a strategic thinker. This, my friend, is absolutely a C.I.A gimmick and if the flight path of that plane is duly investigated, you'll discover that it took off from an European-Nato Country or even from a U.S Naval base called "Diego Garcia"
Putin is too honourable & not so dumb to implicate Russia in a dirty deal like this by using a Russian plane. hahahaha..dont be naive my dear, putin isnt "honourable",you dont play international politics by being honourable.but i agree with your post, russia has no motive neither does it have anything to gain by fueling islamic terrorism{russia isnt a muslim country},and finally,i doubt that they would be daft enough to use their own aircraft in such a dubious transaction. |

GEJ IS REALLY TRYING funny dude: *why would russia want to annex nigeria?,even if they tried, that wouldnt possible. *GEJ isnt the nigerian military that intercepted the dubious transaction.i doubt if the report has even gotten to GEJ's desk yet. |

Ymodulus: This is it.
I am happy, because this news shows that the APC Government is truly committed to ending the Boko Haram or Insurgent Crisis from sweeping the nation. O i asked my self if this plane had landed in a state ruled by the opposition party what would have happened?
This is another Hard Coric proof to show that, the APCs are not behind the Insurgent Attacks in the nation. This is also another evidence that Late. Gen. Azazi was right.
Ymodulus so the nigerian military is owned and sponsored by APC?. |

kwametut: Nigeria is a British creation Nigeria was CREATED by British in 1860 and ended in 1960 after Brits left at their own will. No WAR!!!!!Before 1860 NIGERIA WAS A TRIBAL ZONE where tribes faught over land and sold each other to Europeans "ATLANTIC SLAVE TRADE ERA". Lagos and Port Harcourt and other areas on the Coast are all EUROPEAN creationd and were SLAVE PORTS. All we can say Haiti is a Nigeria creation "THEIR SELL OUT ANCESTORS SOLD OUT BLACK PEOPLE TO WHITES". Today they have PUPPETS like their few less than 70 socalled billionaires who DANCE to WESTERN TUNE. They're the eye of the western interest in Nigeria.
Their OIL ECONOMY was started by BRITISH COLONISERS and oil and gas in Nigeria was DISCOVERED by Brits in 1950s... OK,we've heard you, you're now noticed.now, what do you want us to do about it? |

MikeCZAR: How many air forces use IRIS-T missiles?
Aren't air forces like the German Lufftwaffe and Swedish SWaF competent? They use it.
The IRIS-T is a serious missile, able to attack targets behind the aircraft.
But what I've since concluded about you is that, you're misinformed and your knowledge on military matters is very limited. You're only driven by patriotism. Soon I won't be replying to your st.... posts. *dismissed*,i'm feeling sleepy already.come back with a solid arguement. |
