NIGERIAN MILITARY HAS DECIMATED BOKO HARAM ! ! ! ! . . . . http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/military-has-decimated-boko-haram-air-force-boss-insists-196874/ |
NaijaPikinGidi:err..bro,incase you didnt see,i aint the only one talking "buhari and politics"....if you dont feel comfortable with it,then beat it!,isnt politics part of the military?. its been long bro, where have u been? |
@henry,buhari was ousted by the cowardly american puppet, babangida, not because he{buhari} was weak, but due to overwhelming military support on babangida's side.the war against corruption became unbearable for a number of corrupt top military brass, and predictably buhari was ousted. the naira's devaluation by babangida under IMF conditionalities affected our economy negatively; inflation increased, import increased but burgeoning local industry were forced to close down due to high cost of production and overwhelming competition against foreign imports.yes,it makes sense to devalue the naira to allow cheaper imports and stabilize dollar reserves, but under what condition does it work? http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muhammadu_Buhari http://m.bbc.com/news/world-africa-12890807 you claim that debt increased from $14 to $19billion,but did you consider that buhari never took a loan?,that our source of income{oil} was $10/Ba at the time?.in politics, there is no good or evil, there is only power and how to wield it |
giles14:hahahaha..you call buhari a sitting duck?,even you yourself know that buhari can be more violent and sinister than vladimir putin.if the MEND ever rearm again, they would be crushed without amnesty, this isnt 2007,and we arent in the north.now that they{MEND} dont have grievances anymore, arming themselves for war will be construed as an act of terrorism, and they would be treated as such. |
giles14:*scoff*,what chief of staff?,you mean tunde idiagbon?....yeah,idiagbon did his own fair share, but under who?,wasnt it under buhari's government?,was it idaigbon than initiated WAI?,was it idiagbon that refused to devalue naira?,did idiagbon fight chad?,did he construct railways?,did he sanction corruption? |
jl115:there is no such thing as racism, there is only ideology of races. |
overhypedsteve:hehehehe....i'm now a superstar on nairaland.i'll soon begin signing autographs and snapping weird pictures.lol. |
agaugust:fashola and akpabio are great men{even though from opposing parties},but the rest are not really making impact. |
NIGERIAN ARMY DEPLOYS WAR DOGS IN NORTH EAST ! ! ! ! . . . . The nigerian army have reportedly deployed about 20 of its 200 war dogs into the three troubled state of the north east.a top military official was who was interviewed about the latest development reported that the wardogs have so far been instrumental for the recapture of towns under the violent islamic extremist, boko haram,"the recapture of hong, vimtim and uba have been made possible by the combined efforts of our gallant troops and noble wardogs" said a senior military official "our wardogs have been very diligent in their effort to help us recapture territories and counter insurgency so far".the wardogs which are said to rank from private to lance corporal, possess amazing skills in; tracking weapons, sniffing bombs,IEDs and mines, tracking suspected individuals, spying on suspicious activities, covert infiltration,etc... |
@henry,i sense that your apparent dislike for mohammadu buhari stems from the fact that: *he is a muslim *he is a northener *he plotted a necessary coup to oust shagari's dubious regime and corrupt first republic why else would you oppose the man so much?.have you forgotten that during his regime, when chad annexed some of nigeria's territorial islands in lake chad, buhari mobilized battalions of nigerian soldiers, blockaded southern chad, siezed the western region of lake chad{and all its surrounding territories} and chased the chadians deep into ndajema?.wasnt it buhari who jailed over 300 corrupt 'democratic' politicians?,wasnt it buhari who kept the economy afloat at $10/barrel,and used counter trade policies to barter oil bunkering?,wasnt it buhari who built and commissioned the 4 oil refineries nigeria has today?,one naira was equal to a dollar, before babangida came into power to foolishly devalue the naira.you call buhari a selfish religious bigot, but right now buhari is the man nigeria needs |
jln115:*smirks* indeed.... |
@henry,you are being unfair to buhari.have you forgotten that after buhari overthrew shehu shagari's so called democratic government,he moulded nigeria to become one of the most disciplined and corruption free country of the '70s?,many corrupt policians went into exile, while he{buhari} locked up the rest,he initiated the WAI{war against indiscipline} programme, where everybody;rich and poor, high and low were made to comply to stipulated law, order and regulations or face penalties,in his time whips were used to control unruly behaviour at bus stops!.he refused to devalue the naira, and rejected IMF loan due to the terms and conditions applied, while the economy flourished at $10/barrel of crude oil!.isnt that the type of leader nigeria needs now?,forget about him being a coup plotter,he only plotted the coup due to the high level of corruption in the government.buhari, unlike jonathan, doesnt make thoughtless statement, his statement about "the dog and baboons being covered in blood" was an hausa proverb. |
overhypedsteve:lol.we'd "tear each other apart" if we werent discussing a matter of mutual concession. |
jln115:at this stage, plotting coup isnt feasible anymore, any power crazed coup plotter would find himself at the serious end of AU/UN's rifle, arrested and whisked away to the ICC before he can even plead for mercy.the best way to sieze power is to dance to the current tune, until power gets to your hand. |
ActivateKruger:south africa has pretty boys and girls,i would give you that.but then again,so does nigeria.anyway, whats does that have to do with anything? |
jln115:madness of democracy.lol.all this will end if i'm voted in as the south african president.you could be my campaign manager y'know.i can help SA manage its resources.lol. |
jln115:imagine that, clueless african leaders spouting shameful diatribes are a disgrace to this continent. |
FighterPilot:who are the 'we'? |
jln115:indeed.zuma is a thieving crook that needs to be expelled from the south african government system.as it stands,in nigeria, goodluck jonathan is almost 100% sure to be voted out next year, though he did good to the economy, the man is very undiplomatic.can you imagine a president saying that: *"common stealing isnt corruption" *"boko haram are my brothers, and i cant kill my brothers" *"i will not declare my asset, and i dont give a damn about it" |
though his claims has some elements of truth in them,it is however rather mischievious of him to come on public platform to profess all the dubious points he did about nigeria's disintegration.i wonder why the leadership of nigeria cannot take robust action to curb the use of inflammatory and dennigrating speeches by foreign elements to torment the unity of nigeria. |
MduZA:LOL.we've got power,thank you very much. |
MduZA:indeed. |
MduZA:what is bhakajuju?....sounds like a dance style.anyways,i now understand why you're posting lies tonight, but dont let me spoil your good mood by pummeling your skinny ar.se. |
FighterPilot:insurgency is contained within a part of the north east,do you think it is a bowl of pap to contain the violent spread of islamic radicalist within a target area?. |
MduZA:nigeria is china's biggest strategic partner south of the atlantic.this year alone, trade export from nigeria to china has risen well over $30 billion and trade import from china is skyrocketing to hundreds of billions of dollars.so it isnt a "wow!" that china is investing heavily in every sector of nigeria's economy.like i said earlier, china and nigeria are in partnership to fund and develop projects across the country,so it isnt china who is funding and building everything, infact they do not fund even half. |
MduZA:enchantingly nasty. |
FighterPilot:sinking into where? |
MduZA:the same way russia is to build and {partially} fund your proposed nuclear power plant.china isnt a sole financer of the power plant, they are co-financing it with the nigeria government for their own profit. |
FighterPilot:a $1billion |
i love my country.some people view our military as incompetent despite all the heavy weapons it possesses, but we are facing a terrorist group determined to establish an islamic caliphate.i'm sure that if it were any other african country that was plagued with boko haram, such a country would have been a failed state by now. |
