Major ingredient is dry maize, over here in jos people use either kuli kuli or groundnut (groundnut is cheaper) soya beans, millet, fish meal or chicken meal, dried fish or meat, dried dog food, grind all together.
As for the preparation, I personally make mine thick while some people mk thier's watery. For the thick one, pour d amount of powdered mixture u want to make use of into a pot, pour water Bt not too much ND stir, put on fire ND leave to boil, wen it's boiled, stir ND leave it to cool down den serve.
For the watery one, boil water, mix ur powder wit very little water ND den pour d boiled water, stir ND leave to cool down ND den serve.
It's basically how u prepare pap or semo.
Note: it's not a must all d ingredients I mentioned should be used, but just mk sure u ve protein in it

I once took this dog outside to mate her fellow breed,but for 1 week,nothing happened.

But it allowed one local on the street to enter the place..... Lol

To me the stuff is close to using golden mourn. Cos basically most of d ingredient is used, how nutritious u want it to be depends on what u include when grinding.
It last longer, it's cheap, ND u will see visible changes in ur dog jst a month after starting if properly administered

Na so! even though it was on this nairaland I learnt how to make it.

When I first got here, I couldn't prepare it, Bt I just walked to a store where dey sell food stuff ND I asked for what I can use to prepare dog food, ND gave all to me. Now I even added my own by blending some dried dog food with the maize

Actually, it's all about the fur/hair and the genes too. Cos my feeding is practically basic nothing out of the ordinary.

Since Isis's Arion finished, I have been feeding her bingo (though I was advised not to) I also feed her what I feed my older dog's (corn, groundnut, fish mill mixture) just a bit though.

When she took ill her constant food was raw eggs at most 3 a day. Some days, she would have just 2. Got canned food as well but she ate that just once and lost interest.

I also noticed that regular washing of her bowl helps her eat more. Meanwhile, I feed her just twice a day and she always has clean water.

Next on the list is GREAT SIMBA, Simba was actually the first dog I saw when i came into the kennel, initially when i saw him, i was scared because he was so huge, and he barked at me, I almost concluded that he was the biggest caucasian shepherd until i saw Pumba ofcourse. Simba had a mane like that of a lion, bark as deep a lion roar too, "the guy full ground". He is such an excellent specimen, finally, when he was brought out, we got acquinted. He is such a lovely boy and a great stud too. my nick name for him is "THE LION DOG"

HOLLY is a direct import, she has been bred once here in NIGERIA with MUGABE, her quality is out of this world, have you seen a black caucasian before? this is a ped black caucasian, one of the biggest female caucasian i have ever seen, if she were a male, i would have understood for her size, but a female and this big? what are you looking for in a caucasian, is it the short snout? large head? height? size? structure? mane? asin what is it that a caucasian should have that this dog doesnt have? and best of all all dogs in Bsquared kennel are well groomed despite the number.

I will start with the great PUMBA, PUMBA is one of the biggest if not the biggest caucasian shepherds in Nigeria.
his size scared the hell out of me, Pumba standing on his two legs, is far taller than me and he has all the traits a true caucasians should have, like being a ferocious beast, good guard instinct, and for those of us who doubts if caucasians could actually kill a wolf just as they were bred for, The size of this guy could even kill a lion if i am not mistaken coupled with his temperament. He can be controlled but if the need be, this guy alone can secure 6 hectares of land ferociuously.

Pumba unlike most people will think was bred in NIGERIA, one of the parent is a quality imports, If you are a serious caucasian lover in NIGERIA, then you must have heard of the great "MUGABE". Mugabe is the direct sire of PUMBA, and his dam is also an equally very large good female, (am sorry i cant remember the name of d dam, but i will update, once it comes to mind".
Any one who knows "MUGABE" knows that he is like the biggest known caucasian in Nigeria, but sadly mugabe probably wasnt bred with a quality dam to produce progenies that surpassed him, but this came to an end when Babajide of Bsquared kennel became involved. Pumba is still a growing Caucasian and I can say that Pumba has turned out to even be more better than his sire.

Babatunde Babajide, the owner of BSQUARED KENNEL has always been a nice, easy going and honest man as a true breeder should be. I was opportuned to come across such a great man through this platform. Babatunde was more interested in building a personal relationship with his client rather than rushing to sell his puppies, unlike most breeders of today. He is well known across Nigeria as a breeder, but being one of Nigeria's Top Breeders, he replied, "I am not qualified to be called that name yet oo, I see myself as a Dog Fancier/Lover, My love for dogs is what keeps me going". This was surprising and same time inspiring.

In my efforts to explore Nigeria, I visited Jos. Jos is known in Nigeria as one of the few places with a very cold weather, and hairy dogs like caucasians, Saint Bernard and the rest may thrive here. Although this is partialy true, it is not a sure banker, one still needs to make efforts in taking care of his dogs, and Babajide clearly makes the extra efforts. Years back when I made acquaintance with Babajide, his kennel was the home of Saint Bernard, and he had few caucasians but wasnt compared to his quality of SAINT BERNARDS. Infact i am putting to you today, "IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR QUALITY SAINT BERNARD, BABAJIDE OF BSQUARED KENNEL IS YOUR GUY".

But as change is constant, and growth is Inevitable for a man ready to excel, I can boldly say that "BABAJIDE OF BSQUARED KENNEL NOW HAS ONE OF THE BESTS OF CAUCASIAN STOCKS IN NIGERIA".
Personally, I am a fan of caucasian shepherds and Saint Bernard, and I always looked forward to the day i will get a puppy from him or visit his kernel.

On the 25th of February, 2018, I decided to act on those desires and visit him. Honestly, for someone who grew up in lagos, moving from my location in jos to where his kennel is located in that same jos seemed like traveling from IKOTUN EGBE LAGOS TO IJEBU ODE(exagerating a little bit though). i have to give it to plateaux state, they have very large land mass. But my journey was worth it.
For those that might be interested, BSQUARED KENNEL is located along Rukuba Road and is registered and well recognized.

Anyways, fast forward, am very sure that you are all yearning for pictures. And because he is known for his Saint BERNARDS most especially, i will be focusing on his Caucasians for those who might want to know more about his caucasian shepherds.

Yall gals are just giving advice based on say him na University graduate, d truth about d matter is dt, under norms, na secondary school girls d op suppose date sef.

I personally finished my final exam at age 19, clocked 20 at home, while awaiting Nysc, I dated girls while in school, infact all were older Dan me, I never felt comfortable, I got so used to older girls dt I didn't ve d patience to convince a younger one ND I feel it's Nt right.

Now that's a large litter for a gsd

Sniper shouldn't be used to bath d dogs but it can be used for fumigation with d help of a sprayer, if ur tick situation is now an infestation, d only way out is continous fumigation, use d amiraz to bath d dogs, take dem somewhere u know ticks won't be, d way amiraz works if properly used, d ticks will begin to fall out, u will see dem walking on d body of d dog till dey fall out ND d ones dt don't escape will die on d body, nw take ur sniper/ddforce/perfect killer mix wit water in ur sprayer, Bt to mk it more effective, do not put too much water, ND den spray d areas d dogs normally stay, ND oda areas u ve seen d ticks.
After some hours, change d location of ur chained dog to another part where u know dere won't be ticks, ND also fumigate d place were d dogs were chained. Lock d cage of d dogs so dey won't be tempted to go in.
U either take d dogs out of d compound for thorough fumigation, or u mk sure d dogs are Nt kept in d cage after fumigation, u will have to release dem for as long as d chemical works. But take note dt dere re no things d dogs chew on dt u sprayed ND left in d compound

Pup number two delayed, which was y 3 ND 4 came quick, Pup number 3 was probably already on its way while 2 delayed, check on 3 ND 4 very well, most times after such delay, d next pup might end up being still born
