Is he a building contractor or an Imam? |
Mere speculations. But come to think of it. Cheap internet only succeeded in encouraging hate speeches that further divide us. If not through data price increase a way must be found to control its usage. Everybody must be held accountable for whatever he circulates on the internet. |

I was preparing for parapet work for my duplex but a friend sent these as good and cheaper alternatives. The reigning designs in Kano. Pls what do the gurus in the house think could be the merits or demerits of this over parapet. Its definitely cheaper as it eliminates the cost of parapet and you can use any zink you can afford.

There's no big deal about his arrest. He ran foul of the law and he knew he had it coming. Let him produce Nnamdi KANU or the law shall take its full course. |
These people should go and rest. The Shi'a movement was another Boko Haram in the making. No government worth its name will allow an individual or any group challenge its authority right inside its territory. The primary aim of any Shi'a movement is to ultimately overthrow the government and to establish their form of government. They used to have trained army then in Zaria. But not anymore. Their shrine has been destroyed and the C of O to the land revoked. I only pity the brainwashed young Nigerians who follow and die needlessly. Allow El Zakzaky carry his cross. |

Below is a copy of a friend's petition against Bet9ja sent to National Lotteries Regulation Commission, EFCC, ICPC and others for their refusal to settle the unambiguous goalscorer under/over game. I encourage all those that are affected to also do same so as to invite the government into the matter and put more pressure on Bet9ja to settle. The receipt of the petitions has been acknowleledged. Simply Google and get the email addresses and phone numbers of those bodies. To Whom It May Concern, Bet9ja is Nigeria's premier football betting company that was licenced a few years ago. Needless to say the company has raked in billions if not trillions from Nigerian public through sports betting. I lost over 3 million to them(with evidence to prove). To herald the commencement of the ongoing Russia 2019 World Cup. the company introduced one option of bet they tagged "goalscorer under/over" which selected global famous players including Messi, Ronaldo, Gabriel Jesus, Kane, Costa, Lukaku etc etc and featured them in particular matches to score under or over certain number of goals. The options were under or over 1.5, 2.5 and 3.5 goals. The matches were clearly stated with date, time and nothing was ambiguous. Thousands of Nigerian citizens saw the possibility of a win and invested in the option, some heavily. But halfway through the games Bet9ja also saw the possibility of a lost and swiftly blocked the option so that more punters can't partake. Attachment 1 is my copy of the game which I played online before the game was blocked.I also played the game on hardcopy in the shops. We waited with high expectation through the duration of the games which was exactly the first round of the World Cup(16th-19th June,2019). But to our dismay on 18th June Bet9ja suddenly changed the terminology on all our online games from "Goalscorer under/over" to "Goalscorer Tournament under/over". This latter option means that all the players selected are to score under or over the stated goals not in the particular matches indicated but in the entre word cup tournament! Only a mad man can stake his money on Ronaldo, Costa or Kane not to score up to four goals in the entire 2018 Word Cup tournament. This action amounts to criminal breach of contract, daylight robbery and fraud of the highest order as it concerns winnings amounting to billions of Naira. We started calling their customer care lines only to be told that Bet9ja don't have anything like the first option. To cap it all Bet9ja confirmed our fears on their Facebook page at https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=469270403518123&id=207062383072261 Attachment 2 shows a cliff of the press release on Bet9ja Facebook page at exactly 1304hrs on 18th June, 2018 in which they said it was a confusion. They also said that as a "mark of goodwill" they gave less than 5 hours for people that played the game in question to comment with their game slip number for a refund. Precisely by 1800hrs close of business. Their "mark of goodwill" was half hearted as more than 90% of game players do play in shops and either don't have personal internet access, are illiterates or don't know that Bet9ja has any Facebook page. My humble self belong to the latter category. I was told about the press release before I searched them out on Facebook. Another shocker by Bet9ja in their desperate attempt to evade payment came in the evening of Monday the 19th of june when all of a sudden they reversed the earlier change in terminology on our online games from "Goalscorer Tournament under/over" back to "Goalscorer under/over" as it was originally without a corresponding press release to show that they concede to settle.Attachment 3 is a copy of my same online game after the reversal. This is a grand design and a conspiracy to defraud thousands of Nigerians of their deserved winnings. We are calling on this commission and all other commissions and government agencies saddled with the responsibilty of protecting the public, ensuring fair play and preventing fraud to come into this matter and ensure justice. Its not our mistake or confusion and as such we will not agree to Bet9ja refunding our bet money as that will only be fair if they also refund all the monies they reaped from us since their inception. We are talking about winnings amounting to billions of Naira here. One only needs to visit the provided Bet9ja Facebook page and other social media platforms to feel the pulse of Nigerians over this daylight robbery by a people that we helped to stay in business. Other gory details of Bet9ja operations also avail there. The law should do its work lest the people take it in their own hands. My humble self and several others that encouraged me to write this petition are willing to testify and provide all needed evidence about the matter. |

toofit007:Thank you toofit007 for sharing this. I suffered from this infection since last year and spent a lot to no avail. It was Google that led me to good old nairaland and to this thread. The treatment works like magic from the very first day of taking fluconazole and applying the cream(couldn't get romcin cream but was given Skiinel as an alternative). In under two weeks my jock itch has become history and my skin around the affected area has healed and smoothened up. The op should not only go for this same treatment but thank our 'doctor' later. If toofit007 cares for his next data bundle from me please respond. |

Wiseandtrue:And that's exactly what you are seeing. Its democracy and court processes take time. Two former governors in jail in under one month. More to join them! Buhari is not shielding anybody either PDP or APC. Be part of the grand finale... Vote Muhammadu Buhari 2019.

By [Joe Igbokwe] First was former President Obasanjo’s letter asking PMB not to contest in 2019 citing many reasons why he has to leave the exalted office. It was quickly followed by another letter from former dictator Ibrahim Babangida asking PMB to step aside In 2019 for a younger president. This was followed by the hate and weeping from the losers of 2015 elections who are yet to come to terms with the situations they found themselves since the feeding bottles were forcefully taken away from their rapacious greedy mouths. It was quickly followed by the cries from those who for years had been stealing our crude oil, selling it and pocketing the dollars, those who stole billions of Pension Funds and Salaries of workers, those who stole trillions of Naira in the name of subsidy, those who stole the federal Government to bones with thousands of fictitious accounts, the banks who raked billions every month as charges, those who stole billions of dollars meant for the purchase of arms to fight insurgents. What of those in JAMB office, FIRS, NIMASA, CUSTOMS who stole billions meant for government coffers? They are not left out in the era of pains and tears. What about the experts in Budget padding found in the National Assembly? They are still weeping and gnashing their teeth. Then followed another gnashing of teeth and weeping from the importers of rice from Thailand that cost the country more than 3 billion dollars every year? What about the tragic stories and tales of woes from those whose ill gotten houses, hard currencies, and cars were confiscated by EFCC? They wished and still wish that PMB must die. Even those found to have stolen billions from the coffers of the Police, Army, Navy, Air Force had to cough out and vomit the money and they are not left out in the weeping contest. Even those found in the media (both electronic and print) who got billions of stolen money to help sell rotten eggs in 2015 are still crying without consolation for years now. They sobbed and sobbed and are still sobbing today with no end in sight. What about the billions confiscated from the coffers of the former first lady? The woman and her followers have been weeping and cursing the day PMB was born. What about the religious leaders who got billions from GEJ in the days of the locust? Oh, they are weeping without control and wish that PMB will die immediately. How come all those who are being accused of stealing money are now feigning sickness? What went wrong? I can go on and on but there is no need to continue to do so. You cannot continue to box a man lying prostrate on ground who has no strength to fight back. Now, their biggest pains is that PMB is doing what they failed to do in 16 years. PMB is building massive infrastructure across Nigeria. PMB has been growing our internal revenue which is now overtaking crude oil revenue, the first in 45 years. PMB has brought about unprecedented revolution in Agriculture in Nigeria and has particularly reduced Rice importation by 60% and employing millions. PMB has added serious values to Power generation (7000+ MW), the highest so far. PMB has given corruption a bloody nose and no Nigerian head of state living or dead has matched his record. PMB has grown the Nigerian Stock Exchange volume of business to 15.75 trillion naira, the highest so far. In their own very eyes PMB is now the Anti Corruption Champion in Africa. This is the principal reason the idiots want him out. They cannot withstand another four years. They may all die. Cheap money is no longer flowing. Looted money is no longer available. They talk about National security, the herdsmen and the killings in Benue, Taraba, Adamawa. I have been seeing cattle rearers since I was young. Because PMB is a fulani, the bigots think he is arming them to kill other Nigerians and islamize them. Yeye people all! PMB’s case is very different. He had a mission and vision of what he wants to do and he is doing it. The gang up cannot fly and it will not work. A friend once educated me on the meaning of stupid. He says it is knowing the truth, seeing the truth but still believing lies. Being honest may not fetch you many friends but it will fetch you the right ones. PMB friends and committed followers are the ordinary Nigerians who fight for him even with empty stomachs because they believe he is fighting for them. They can feel it, they see it and they know the man is not corrupt. I am told that the loudest person in the room is not always the strongest. OBJ and IBB’s letter may not fly this time because PMB’s case is different. PMB is doing what OBJ and IBB did not do. IBB corrupted our democracy and democratized corruption. Former President Obasanjo wasted eight years of South West presidency and even wanted a third term. He could not find the killers of Bola Ige, Harry Marshall, Ogbonnaya Uche, Dikibo, Funsho Williams, Daramola etc. Those who destroyed our yesterday cannot be the ones that will control tomorrow ’s potentials. This is why PMB’s case is different. COPIED

Other criminals are having a field day because you blame herdsmen for every violent crime. Take a look at the arms captured from bandits and armed gangs in Kaduna and zamfara area that were displayed by security agencies last week.
|
Why suspected herdsmen? Anybody that die violently in Benue is now a victim of suspected herdsmen. |
You should have air-dried it using hair drier or at the back of air conditioner. The hot air would have dried it in a matter of minutes. |
Jonathan fail to realise that silence is golden after he presided over the most corrupt government in Africa ever. |

President Muhammadu Buhari has directed the immediate disengagement from service of Mr Abdullahi Abdulrasheed Maina, former chairman of the Presidential Task Force on Pension Reforms. Presidential spokesman, Mr Femi Adesina, disclosed this in a three-paragraph statement this afternoon. Adesina said in a memo to the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, the president equally demanded a full report of the circumstances of Maina's recall and posting to the Ministry of Interior. According to him, the report is to be submitted to the office of the Chief of Staff to the President, Mallam Abba Kyari, before the end of work today. https://www.dailytrust.com.ng/buhari-fires-maina-queries-head-of-service.html |

According to radical writer, Tariq Ali, a true revolutionary is one who disregards personal safety in the pursuit of one’s beliefs. He cited Che Guavara who left the comforts of Argentina to fight in the jungles of Bolivia and died while in combat. He never failed to also mention Malcolm X as one of his heroes who was to meet his waterloo in the heady, violent days of 1965. Unfortunately, there was a disconnection between what he espoused and what he practiced. During the brutal dictatorship of General Ayub Khan in his native Pakistan where thousands of citizens died in bloody demonstrations, the students urged him to return home to lead the struggle from within and use his vast global contacts to yank off the military from power. Khan had other ideas and preferred to sit in London, editing a journal because he was scared that his passport might be confiscated. He refused to go to Paris in 1968 to attend an important conference because he was scared he might not be allowed back into Britain since he had five months left to become a British citizen. He was tragically a safety first radical apologies to Adewale Maja-Pearce, former editor of the Index on Censorship. The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu once boasted that he would deal with any invading force from Abuja and that it would be Biafra or death. When death came in the face of Operation Python Dance, what did he do? He allegedly vanished into thin air as his whereabouts have been unknown since his father’s palace was invaded by the military marauders. His disappearing act must have come as a gargantuan shocker to his horde of disciples who called him a Lion and swore that he would stand as the Rock of Gibraltar in protecting their interests. What his zealous supporters failed to acknowledge was that their idol failed to stand up for some of his supporters who were detained. He earlier promised not to live them behind in jail but when his bail came through, he made a volte-face. Wasn’t that a sign of more sinister things to come? He who fights and runs away lives to fight another day seemed to be his mantra as he was not ready to toe the path that Che Guevara, Martin Luther King Jnr, Patrice Lumumba etc trod. His followers were at the mercy of the army goons who whipped them mercilessly to submit to the constituted authority. They needed succour from the man who touted himself as the next big thing in revolutionary warfare but alas all they got was an elitist conspiratorial silence. IPOB as part of the fallout has been proscribed as a terrorist organization. The alleged presence of a Biafran intelligence service lent and Kanu’s call for the purchase of weapons made the Federal Government move swiftly to forestall any breakdown of law and order. To categorise them alongside boko haram was in bad taste. It would been interesting to hear Kanu’s voice denounce the actions of the Buhari led administration on his organization. Tragically, he has been turned into a fugitive and enemy of the state. He now has the charge of terrorism in addition to the earlier treason charge and this wouldn’t be easy to deal with as being let off the hook may be nothing short of wishful thinking. One wonders why there has been deafening silence by his supposed foot soldiers and erstwhile sympathizers! No official statement from his bail sureties or any from his horde of disciples. Is it that they failed to successfully buy into his ‘vision?’ Has the tide of the times made it unsafe to publicly associate or identify with him? Is it a failure on his part as a leader that he had no loyal crop of loyalists? Some traditional rulers went as far as asking the state government to withdraw the staff of office from his father. The greatest blow came from the southeast governors who denounced him and his organization. Let’s not forget that Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe was among those that stood surety which meant an indirect governmental backing from his homeland. Was his fame a nine day wonder accentuated by his prolonged detention and as such had no roots and substance? Successful liberty fighters have their machineries well oiled either during their time of flight or even death. The likes of Oliver Thambo, Walter Sisulu, Desmond Tutu, Thabo Mbeki etc spread forth the anti-apartheid message while Mandela and the 26 others were behind bars. The 1917 Bolshevik revolution was spearheaded by Lenin from exile in Switzerland. Why hasn’t the so called international support of IPOB seen a propagandist machinery to keep its ideals alive? We recall with gusto the way and manner Ralph Uwazurike swept the south-east with his Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB). After his first spell in detention, it fizzled out like the musical candle in the wind. Some of Kanu’s traducers accuse him of succumbing to hubris by allowing a guard of honour to be mounted by his foot soldiers which he inspected and infamous picture that circulated virally which saw him step his feet on an overzealous disciple. For a man who enjoyed support from the likes of Pat Utomi and Chukwuma Soludo, this is not the best way to end up. Some cold comfort is coming from the United States who disagreed with the Nigerian government that IPOB is a terrorist organization. The UK and France have come to deny their countries being used as a funding conduit for the marked organization. Nothing has come in the way of support for Kanu from any of the aforementioned countries and it is crystal clear that he has been left to stew in his own juice. Will Kanu go down the way of Uwazurike? Would he like the phonix re-emerge as another Dim Odumegwu-Ojukwu who was still held in high esteem despite his 1970 cowardice? Time never fails! Imagine a people deceived to worship a man born of a woman. A man that was in the cradle like everybody else. A man that laughed and cried, a man that ate and drank, a man that urinated and shitted like every other man. A man that in his entire life never knew or heard the words "Christianity, trinity, resurrection", or him dying for the sin of another. I challenge all the worshippers of Christ here to show me just one verse in the bible where Jesus said "I am God" or "worship me". Why must we be spiritual to interpret the simple words of a God that "created us in his own image and likeness". Any word that needs spirituality to be understood in the bible are obviously not from God. Because there are the words of three different beings in the bible, and these words are clearly distinguishable from one another. The words of God are distinct from the words of Jesus which are in turn distinguished from the words of men inside the same bible. |
lofty900:Are u one of them? |
Now that IPOB has been officially declared a terrorists organization by the Nigerian army, and their enclaves occupied, what next? Would they confront the army and fight to demonstrate their much acclaimed battle readiness or would they chicken out as the going gets tough? Now that the battle die has been cast who will waiver, General Buratai or Commander Kanu? -Will Buratai hesitate to do in Biafra what he has been doing in his own state of Borno? I dont think so. -Can Nnamdi Kanu walk the talk of destroying the "zoo republic" or was he just being sarcastic? Is the declaration of IPOB a terrorists organization right or wrong? Applying simple logic to this question leads to using our local Boko Haram(BH) terrorists as a scale to weigh IPOB. SIMILARITIES: 1. BH wanted to carve an Islamic state out of Nigeria/IPOB want to carve a Biafra state out of Nigeria 2. BH brainwashed and coerced jobless youths and formed an army/IPOB brainwashed and poisoned the minds of jobless youths and formed an army. 3. BH illegally acquired arms to execute their war against us/IPOB illegally acquired arms to destroy the "zoo republic". 4. BH leaders defied all voices of reasoning and challenged constituted authorities/IPOB defied same voices and challenged the sovereign. 5. BH committed genocide against innocent civilians/IPOB committed genocide against innocent civilians. 6. BH and IPOB are both arsonists and looters. 7. BH want a reward in a heaven/IPOB want a reward in a Biafra heaven. DIFFERENCES: 1.BH are ready to die for their cause to get to that heaven/IPOB youths want to live and enjoy their Biafra heaven. 2. BH don't select their victims/IPOB kill only northerners. What more to compare and contrast them? |
Even without PMB Atiku won't be the secessor because he is a desperado. |
Where in Rivers? |
The recent show of disloyalty exhibited by the minister for women affairs, Aisha Jummai Alhassan by openly showing her support for Atiku Abubakar to run for president in 2019 is a plan to test the waters.See reasons why President Buhari will give the desperadoes behind her the 'Fayose and FFK treatment'= SILENCE See what their plan: 1. The idea was to push PMB to the edge and provoke some reactions just to read his mind if truly he will seek re-election in 2019. 2. It was also an attempt to know what early preparations should or can be put in place should Baba recontest or not. 3. It was also a desperate calculation to test his statemanship, she really want a sack and very desperate at that because a sack will send a message and the message will be audibly clear that add and subtract, Baba has a plan, may be of re-election. 4. That Mr President promised for only one (1) term is another dirty push to make him talk and that is to help their course. Now here is the reality: ¤ Mr President is far ahead of these desperados, he will not talk because he has work to do, Governance is more than politics most especially at this critical time of our economy recovery, he will not talk because leaders think of GOVERNANCE while 'The PoliLOOTERS' think of how to win next election. ¤ He will not sack her even as her action apparently begs for it, he will not sack her because thats exactly what they wanted him to do. So that the sack can ignite and garner some kind of sympathy from the public, may be if his silence frustrates her, she will resign on her own. ¤ The nuclear that has unsettled them is his silence and concentration on what matters most, which is Nigeria. The joke is now on them as his silence is suffocating them badly, and that's the 'Fayose and FFK treatment' My opinion. |
