Who is desperate between PMB and the looters? |
Senate President Bukola Saraki has dismissed stories making the rounds about juicy offers being made to him and his associates as part of the on-going discussions with the Presidency and leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Saraki said this in a statement signed by his Special Adviser (Media and Publicity), Yusuph Olaniyonu, on Sunday The senate president said what is at stake is the future of the country and its democracy, describing as myopic for anybody to be talking about whether certain offers have been made to an individual or if such offers would be accepted or not. "I believe at this point, it is important for me to make some clarifications, end speculations and make my position clear. It is important for Nigerians to know that the discussions that I and many others of like minds are having with the Presidency and the leadership of All Progressives Congress (APC) is not about me and what I want. It involves the future of our country and her democracy. It is about making things better for our people. "Though there are many speculations being peddled in the media, let it be known these discussions are not about me. Whatever has happened to me in the past has passed. Now that God in his infinite mercy has vindicated me, I have moved on, believing that we have all learnt our lessons. "As I said in my statement following the Supreme Court Judgement on July 6, I cannot hold any grudge against any individual. I have forgiven all those who played any role in my persecution and likewise, I have asked for forgiveness from all those that I wronged in the past. Our focus should now be about Nigeria. The major issue on the table for discussion is how to strengthen our democracy, rebuild our economy, stop the spate of insecurity, improve the conditions of living of our people and generally chart a course for the development of this great country. "We will be insulting Nigerians if, as the 2019 elections draw nearer, our deliberations is about personal benefits or how to pay compensation for wrongs done to an individual. "As for my political future, we just need to continue to engage with others, listen to advices and exchange ideas because the decision is not that of mine alone. It is for all our supporters and associates to deliberate upon and take a decision based on the overall interest of our people. It is my prayers that Almighty God will guide us right in all our decisions and make a positive turn-around in our country," the statement said https://www.vanguardngr.com/2018/07/story-of-juicy-offers-not-true-says-saraki/

You a Muslim or a christian? If you are the former then you don't have any problem. Muslims don't have much challenges over inheritance as Quran is the only holy book. that a detailed formulae and directive on how to share with inheritance. If you are a christian then your ethnic culture determines who gets what because the bible has not addressed the issue of sharing inheritance. And if you are from an ethnic group that has not addressed this issue or where the senior or strong gets everything then sorry. And be careful with lawyers too. They are out to make money. |
alBHAGDADI:You are already claiming a quality that exclusively belong to God: Knowing the unknown. |
This warped argument can also mean that there are a thousand and one God out there. If Jesus was God because he is good then it means every good man is God. It means you can also be God if you are good. |
That makes two of us. I went through mental trauma through doubts, regrets, losts, vexations and waste of time. I slept late everyday and had challenges being alert at work. I drain my bank accounts to the last kobo. Thank God I am free and got my life and happiness back after quitting this satanic misadventure.. |
Aliko Dangote has revealed that at 61, he is not getting any younger and is willing to take a new wife. Speaking with David Piling in a Financial Times interview, “Lunch with FT,” monitored by The Cable, the multi-billionaire, who is Africa’s richest man, revealed a soft side of himself and talked tall about his ambitions to buy Arsenal Football Club after successfully leading Nigeria’s oil refining revolution. Dangote revealed that his schedule is inhibiting romance. The Founder of Dangote Group, who is twice divorced and has three grown-up daughters, told FT that he is on the lookout for a new bride. He, however, adds a caveat: “I am not getting younger. 60 years is no joke. But it doesn’t make sense to go out and get somebody if you don’t have the time. “Right now, things are really, really very busy, because we have the refinery, we have the petrochemicals, we have the fertiliser and we have the gas pipeline.” But he agrees that he needs to “calm down a bit,” adding that daily he takes over 100 calls. About his mails, he says: “You try to be polite and reply, but they come back to you with a longer e-mail, not minding that here is a very, very busy person.” “Look Aliko, the world is not going to fall apart if you don’t answer your phone,” Dangote says of his golden advise from Tony Blair, the former British prime Minister, who makes three calls and battle with scores and tones of emails. Ironically, Dangote, who has one of the biggest food chains in the country, told Pilling that he tries to fast at least once a week, adding that “it helps to clean your system.” https://www.vanguardngr.com/2018/07/dangote-africas-richest-man-needs-a-wife-but/amp/

FLASH Buba Galadima and Dino Melaye represented rAPC to sign MoU with the PDP National body today but the PDP in his constituency rejected the terms of his defection, while Buba Galadima vows to deliver Yobe State votes to PDP. * PDP rejects Dino Melaye, gives reasons. The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Kogi West Elders’ Forum, KWEF, has said it will vehemently reject any attempt to impose Senator Dino Melaye as the sole senatorial candidate of the party in 2019. Chairman of the Forum, Shaibu Momoh said this while speaking after they met yesterday in Lokoja, the state capital, to deliberate on Melaye’s official planned defection to PDP. This development comes amidst Dino’s planned defection to the party aytime soon. Speaking on behalf of the elders, Momoh said if Melaye was allowed to contest in any free and fair election in the state now, the party would be defeated. Momoh said Melaye will be a liability and not an asset to the former ruling party in the state. He said, “Melaye is seen as too controversial and his unacceptable behaviors are the serious negative views of the public against him. He cannot win any election in a free and fair atmosphere and PDP should therefore not gamble with him as a candidate for now. “He needs a serious reformation period which PDP Kogi state do not have the luxury of time to dispense. “The leadership of PDP in the state under the two former governors of the state, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, Captain Idris Wada, senator Tunde Ogbeha Alhaji Musa Ahmadu and host of other critical stakeholders have been struggling to rebrand a PDP that can recapture power from an aggressive non-performing government of APC in the state. “They have reconciled several prominent strong men and women who came back to the party and their re-entrance back to PDP is without any condition or concession but genuine. Imposition of a Senatorial candidate will cause a major derailment and unimaginable crisis that PDP may not overcome before the general election. “The critical leaders are on ground and they understand this great danger and trap, hence their rejection of this Dino imposition. “Senator Dino Melaye is welcome to PDP as specified under the Constitution of the party. He is free to aspire to any position of his choice but must take cognisance of existing mutual arrangement. “He will not be discriminated against in any form in the conduct of the affairs in the state. He should come into the party with genuine open mind and contribute meaningfully to growth of the PDP like any other senior member of the party”. https://www.google.com.ng/amp/dailypost.ng/2018/07/09/pdp-rejects-dino-melaye-gives-reasons/amp/ |

The management of Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State, yesterday debunked report that five teachers were dismissed from its secondary school for allegedly impregnating an SS3 student. The Rector, Architect Muhammad Sani Aliyu, while briefing journalists, said the five teachers were actually sacked for extortion and marriage proposals to some female students in the school. He said the school’s management discovered that some teachers of the school were extorting money from students and also collecting from parents without remitting same to the school’s account. “In the course of our investigation it was discovered that the same teachers were having friendship affairs with some students but not sexually as reported”, he said. The rector said the board of the school thereafter set up a committee to investigate the matter. “After a thorough investigation, the committee concluded that there was indeed relationship between the teachers and students but did not establish that there was any sexual relationship between them. However, the school considered the actions of the teachers as gross misconduct and immoral. It therefore recommended for rules and regulations to be applied”, he said. Architect Aliyu also maintained that the alleged pregnant student was not dismissed as reported but was enrolled in a public school because of the inability of her parents to pay her WAEC, NECO and school fees. “The SS3 student in question was not found to have engaged in sexual relationship with the teacher and therefore couldn’t have been pregnant”, he said. He said the management has no regrets dismissing the teachers because the school is a training ground for children who are being moulded to become future leaders and they must be protected. https://www.dailytrust.com.ng/-we-did-not-sack-teachers-over-student-s-pregnancy-259897.html |
