Sequel to this,

The 3rd mail they sent to me on the 18th of Nov goes thus

My tracking ID has been received at the Canada Visa Application Centre, Abuja OC

And it is in transit to the IRCC Office in Abuja OC for processing

Abuja queue two is where most counterfoil were assigned to, and that is why they are going to Abuja. I got that info from my GCMS notes

Funny enough it was LAGOS V F S I submitted to

So i just finished speaking with VFS and they said my passport is still with the embassy and they will send me a mail for payment once they receive it. I don pay since yesterday sha. All die na die, ogbologbo na winch

How much did you pay and to which account please. Also, did you email them the receipt? If yes, which email please.

I got the email saying it was being processed, then counterfoil and email saying that the decision envelope is in Abuja.

I got my counterfoil this afternoon and a mail saying my passport is on its way to VFS Abuja. I submitted my passport on the 18th.

What can I do next please?

I am also wondering why Nairaland keep banning me anytime I post the message to VFS here?

Amen we have received favor and grace on our application.

Everyone received that. Even those that have gotten PPR. It was a glitch from IRCC when they updated their system.

Good evening.
Please what are the documents to send for a minor's PPR?
Does anyone have an idea?

My sister's child got a PPR and we are not too sure about what to attach since there was no biometrics.

How will the child's consent be filled and signed too?

My wife and I signed the consent forms. We added everything that we added to our own. The only other thing we added was the payment receipt generated by bank.

Hi peeps , can anyone please assist with the link to join or add me to the calgary group ? Post ppr ? Thanks

Is there a POST-PPR Toronto/Ontario group? I got my PPR and submitted my passport already.

I have also booked my flight while waiting for the visa, hoping to coming December 29th.

I would be grateful to join a Toronto/Ontario group that's for those with Work permit preferably.

It seems flight through wakanow.com for 26th/27th of December are cheaper than any other I have seen. About 300k. Anyone travelling that period wants to link up?

Is there a cheaper site where I can book?

I have a dorm account with about USD 18000. Will Zenith Bank allow me to withdraw it and take along?

LordAA:

I don't think you can get CAD from Nigeria. I think it's USD that can be gotten from banks.
One can request for PTA(personal travel allowance) and you're entitled to a maximum of 4,000 USD.

I got a job in Canada so I did not need to show proof of funds since I was applying for Work Permit.
I got references from my former bosses and added those to all the job offer letter/contract I have ever received and added my school certificates and applied.

My employer had to get LMIA before we could apply.

Congrats @ evergold, Please what documents and funding did you have to show to enable you get a ppr with your wife?

My wife and I got our passport request yesterday and we are still waiting for our daughter's. Below is our timeline:
_______________________________________
AOR - February 20, 2020

Medical - N/A

Biometrics - N/A

BVL - August 5, 2020

GCMS Notes Application: September 17, 2020

GCMS Notes Received: October 12, 2020 - Counterfoil Approved (August 5th)

Approval/PPR: November 12, 2020

We did biometrics together at VFS in December 2019. The VFS printout has both our name. I am wondering if I can send both our passports in the same envelope to VFS since the VFS printout has both our name?

Also what is the procedure for two way courier, please?

Thanks
