Obinna came to lagos five years ago, he was a tenant, he probably had a landlord who was Yoruba and was paying his rent.

5 to 10 years later, Obinna’s hustle has paid off, he wants to buy a land to build a hotel.

The land is normally sold for 3 million Naira, but the Omo Oni Ile( a group of people who call the themselves owners of the land even when they don’t own the said land, but they must be settled before anything) tell Obinna that he must pay an extra two million to settle them.

They further demand various things and finally obinna buys the land for 6 million.

Obinna builds his hotel and even tars the road to the hotel.

Obinna’s hotel is flourishing and Obinna’s friends decide to invest too.

Chukwudi, Nonso, Nnamdi, Osita; all Obinna’s friends, come to buy land.

Segun, Aremu, Ola, Gbenga, Olu, Segu Abiola, Tunde, Afeez, Moruf, Lanre, Kehinde, Taiwo, all of them making up the omo oni ile, demand 8 million naira from Obinna’s friends, adding two million naira since they saw that Obinna’s hotel flourished.

Obinna’s friends each pay for the land and build their businesses and they even tar the road too.

2 years later, Omo Oni iles have finished up all the money, then they go on national Tv crying hot tears, that Obinna and his friends are taking their land.
