Skseries: First i must say this is my first time posting on NL i juz had to clear this up a little. Am nt a fan of any brand, am juz a lover of gud tins, if there was a 9ja phone that runs on 4.2 jb android trust me i dnt care wot the name is as long as it cn last me 2years plus and cheap am buying. That said i happen to cum across the p5 yesterday and trust me if any1 is sayin the phone is nt gud, the person must av a personal beef.,. Am gonna be sincere with you.Guy did you read posts b4 posting, Everybody is aware what just posted. Btw I thought you will bring two or three rivals as case maybe & compare Nokia 3110 is wow to 1110. Sorry! |

AMINDA:Oga eemh, nobody is discouraging competition by stating the FACT, It is good for ppl to have informed mind and no what he will expect in any product or you mean disadvantages should be hid to encourage competition besides if any company knows what is slowing his sales down he will move to rectify it. busar: please elaborate moredo you currently make use of Nova Launcher, disabled or uninstall those one you don't need? And don't forget the whole settings will take full effect when you might have restarted your phone. ....... B4 you take drastic action make sure this one is not enough for you and also b4 you conclude it is not enough make sure you have restarted your phone. ... So after you have restarted, you can screenshot let me know if I can give you more tips. |

busar: It's still manageableIs this what you normally get or does it increases very well? You can still have more ram surely if work around you phone and make do with the one you need, of course the ram will expand itself if you run game! |

busar: When i added all the running app i got 177mb.i don't just know how it amounted to 413mb. Please respond!system OS that can't be stopped are responsible for those ones u can't see, the only app which stop able are the ones u see. For instance if you use default launcher, u will not be able to see it but it still consume rams etc ....... Next launcher is eating up a lot of ur ram, I will advise you, us Nova Launcher, it will eat small ram compare to these ones tho u will not see it but when you calculate d difference like ( 413-177=236) I.e system OS is consuming 236, u will see how ram OS is consuming reduced drastically if you us Nova Launcher etc, likewise If your phone is rooted, uninstall those app or disable them like antivirus and those useless follow come app, if you are not rooted disable them also use ur dx toolbox to optimise your ram, dis is jelly bean bro! |

BlackBerry has appealed directly to its customers to stay loyal, publishing an open letter in newspapers around the world Tuesday that touts its technology and financial position. The ad, published on the company's website and in major newspapers, stresses that the embattled smartphone maker has substantial cash on hand and no debt. The letter also talks up Blackberry's social network, security features and corporate appeal. "You can continue to count on BlackBerry," the letter declares. What the ad does not mention is that Blackberry is for sale and has received a preliminary $4.7 billion buyout offer from Fairfax Financial. "These are no doubt challenging times for us and we don't underestimate the situation or ignore the challenges we are facing," the ad acknowledges. "We are making the difficult changes necessary to strengthen BlackBerry." The proposed deal from Fairfax came just three days after BlackBerry announced a brutal preliminary quarterly financial report, including a $1 billion loss and plans to lay off about 4,500 employees. The company is looking at other offers, and potential buyers include tech rivals and private equity firms. An offer from one of these companies would put BlackBerry on much firmer ground, given that many investors doubt the deal with Fairfax can be completed. BlackBerry announced last month that it plans to lay off 40% of its global workforce by the end of the year. The first round of cuts began last week, with 300 employees let go. Other tech companies are actively recruiting BlackBerry employees, with Apple and Intel going so far as to host meet-and-greet events near BlackBerry's headquarters in Waterloo, Ontario. BlackBerry rivals Apple, Google and Microsoft have worked hard to improve their security and e-mail delivery capabilities. As a result, corporate IT departments have opened their doors to non-BlackBerry devices. Blackberry 10, the operating system that was meant to save the company, was delayed several times. So were the phones built around the new platform, which left BlackBerry customers with no new phones to buy. sindrek: my p2 is not rooted can I download ram manager?Ram Manager required root in most of its function but with Dx Toolbox, you can optimise your Ram without root unless you want to uninstall system app that one request root. |

Oliversamuel: i am aware of what u r saying,anytime i observe that OTA update for p2 is now available,i will unroot my own b4 upgrading my phone to avoid err in it.. some ram optimising apps cnt work without root access, not all of themOTA for where after you have modified system files/follow.com even if you unroot! #keepdreaming |
