Thanks, I suspected that antivirus is the main problem, I never use antivirus on android and antivirus well known to slow system down even computer!

Cowboy43: p2 doesn't lag when you play game but some buttons won't respond immediately dat was why i dislike p2, sometimes when u scroll your web page u will notice a slide lag too..p2 network is far more better than p5 if terms of browsing.... You get that?

Yes! 1, it void your warranty. 2, Your phone can get bricked easily because all the files in the phone can be deleted and when you delete system files your phone will remain in gionee logo only (bricked). 3, Some app dat required root access are harmful like installing font in your phone can brick it.
........ To root it, search for framaroot 1.6 apk with Google, install it then change superuser to superSU and tab boromir.. Notification dat superSU has been installed will show then reboot your phone and you're rooted.

Stancity: I bought this phone on Monday this week and since then it hasn't rest unless am asleep, am yet to discover any single lag, I play games a lot, music, videos, heavy browsing etc. the battery last like what I don't know, To be honest I charge my phone once a day and make sure the battery reaches at least 4% before I charge again.. the phone is very much ok for those that wants a value for their money....

seunlayi: I was importuned to have my first feel of this P2 fone yesterday, it was such a nice looking fone and look better than the tradional techno I always see with people. I personally helped a friend to unbox it and installed two applications - mobo player and opera mini. To my disappointment (cos, I am very interested in this fone and I suppose to have bought it since but it is part of my habit to wait for a month before buying any electronics I have interest in), the fone freeze up (lag) occasionally although I am sure this can be handle but I never expected a brand new fone to experience such. Moreover, the bat3 may not last long as it drop more than 10% of full charge after less than 30 mins of music playing via headphone. Maybe Gionee forgot to fix somethings before shipping this device.

I agree with you bro, but in terms of lag yes it will definitely lag because there is a lot app that came with it which needs to be disabled or uninstall, like antivirus and those useless apps and surely the phone Will be lag free With Nova launcher fully optimised, concerning the battery; phones normally drop faster from 100% until some % then it will stabilise and also dat is the first charge I suppose. Well I will surely get this phone soonest and maybe drop my little hints on how to optimise it best, personally I have my reason for gionee but I will also advise this phone is phone of N14,000 let's not approach it with high expectations. around 25–28,000. Somebody told me is 28,500 but I didn't bargain. You can check out ctrl v3 with 4.3 IPS screen, gorilla glass and performance chipset mt6577 1 GHz dual core which I am sure it will out perform mt6572 1.3GHz and probably will be cheaper than ctrl V4.

"Brain washed" no Sir, I said it out of experience, I used N3, bought L3 because of battery and they almost thesame in daily usage. I notice the L3 has very poor screen and cannot play 320p video while N3 has better screen and even play 720p with some lag. check out Tecno dat produce thesame pixel screen with thesame 165ppi but vast difference in screen quality then I notice tecno cannot give better spec with low price without cutting a big coner which you will notice as you continue to use the product. My brother to be truthful L3 nearly damage my eye until Marcjoe come to my rescue with screen filter, the screen became very poor but my eye are save now! let pulse here but if you want more reason no problem. One thing I know, one thing I am sure, any right thinking person will never make decision because your comments!
