Even some ogas in uniform outfit do this too. You go see officers attached to oga residence on guard duties being used to wash their cars, sweep their compounds, even wash their clothes. Meanwhile dem dey pocket allowances for househelps. Officer go turn house help for oga house.

It's this their linking of debit card that is giving me issues. Each time I try to link my verve card, it doesn't appear after all the many steps of inputing all the many numbers on the guard, then they debit me 50 naira, yet it won't link.... Is it that they don't accept verve cards?

Bob this people no get heart o. Calling people to training school at this time. Salary una never pay, moreover, this is festive period. Some of us are parents, money for Xmas never dey, bag of rice we never buy, children clothes we never buy, inlaw own nko, we never settle. From where some of us are based, to even travel to that Kano no be small money, yet salary we never see. Some of us even dey owe money we borrowed for induction expenses, that one we never pay, when we reach training school more expenses await. As if all these loads never too much, una hammer us with more money demanding situation on top no salary. Except they pay this coming week, naim be say the effect of the hardship is cushioned a bit, if not e no funny o... I know I'm saying the mind and thoughts of some of us called up for training school.. God will see us through...Una Doooh!!!

yes the salaries start counting from the day of appointment letter but it may takes months before it drop into your account

Exactly what I meant. We were told that the salary starts counting from the day of induction but we would be paid 3 months salary once at the end of the induction

It isn't the new way, it's have it is done. You are paid your monthly salary at the end of every month during your induction.

Sorry to repeat this question sir but for clarity sake. The officers at the command told us that we would start receiving salary after the 3 months induction but you are saying it's monthly. Are u saying that this is the new way it's done now?

Anybody expecting allowance is just setting he or her self up for disappointments. Just zero your mind ehen it comes to allowance matter. As for pay during induction, you'll be paid. But remove mind from allowance.

You see Nigerians when something does not favour you, you discredit the process. If you were shortlisted you would not have said it was based on connection.
Me personally do not have a single connection however I got the job for ASI. I also know many others like myself. I never wanted to pursue the job because I had the same mindset that you must know somebody to get a government job, but a friend encouraged me to try that i had nothing to loose and to the Glory of God i was shortlisted.
So please stop all these criticism and pray for God to favour you that's all. If it's your time nothing can stop it.
