MarvellousGod:Amen. ![]() 2-3 days per week is fab! But, can you sustain it? You know the key is in consistency. may God help us indeed. ![]() The lemon+ginger hot water drink is a great detox. You know detox cleanses from within. Lemon is a natural skin bleaching ingredient. It brightens the skin with prolong use. You mentioned you have spots on your face? Squeeze lemon and dab with cotton wool, then apply to your face. It really stings though. Ginger is excellent for digestive issues. Aids bowel movements. When you combine those two with warm water, the effect is: a toxin free system which reflects in your skin. No acne! No bloatedness and clear bright skin! I am talking from personal experience. ![]() As for waist training, I have a flat tommy too. I didn't think it could be flater. But I wanted the extra sleek, feminine curves that comes with waist training. lol. A really good waist training corset goes for like 18k. Totally worth it. Your slim waist will look like a slender Columbian waist. ![]() I like the results so far. I think I can even sight some baby abs. Lol. |
My colors: trad. Purple and Gold. White: sunshine yellow and Royal blue, touch of red. Wedding dress: davidsbridals. Grooms outfit: custom made. Every other thing, handled. |
Woged2005:Lol. Not many are wise. |
MarvellousGod:Congratulations. ![]() You are from the East right? |
Pweetiebabe:Cool. ![]() Try hot water lemon+ginger drink, first thing in the morning. You'll notice tremendous improvement with your bowels and your skin will become brighter. ![]() |
MarvellousGod: ![]() Please try to pray and fast together weekly. You guys can pick a day of the week. You know you aren't just praying for a smooth wedding but for a great marriage ahead. we pray the solution to the challenges before they arrive.I have started some detox stuff. A hot mug of Lemon+ginger first thing in the morning. Mehn it is doing wonders for my skin! Plus I go to the rest room more frequently. I also started waist training this week. Then spa visits a MUST! The list is quite Long sha, but the effort is totally worth it. ![]() |
Oh my gawd! Dija and Korode bello aka mega super star ![]() As far as I know, these two are the best things to happen to the Nigeria music industry in ages. ![]() Clean videos, clean lyrics. No need to fear for you children when their songs come on air. ![]() |
Pweetiebabe: honestly! I am not in for stress at all. The only stress I am giving myself is spiritual exercises and beauty regimen. I started waiste training on Monday. ![]() |
Woged2005: where did you get that stats from?Sis. I am feeling you like Phil Collins. |
MarvellousGod:Forget that yarns jor. I'm sure Huffington post, the source from which this news was shared, has her pictures. Besides, her full name is posted. All we need do is employ the services of Google. The case is not a small one, so her pics should be all over the net by now. Make I go check. In other matters, come make we rub mind for the 2015 brides thread. ![]() |
Pweetiebabe amen oh! I wanted to point out the need for brides to also prepare spiritually! Also, let's share pre wedding beauty regime ![]() What are you gurls doing to look really radiant on that day. ![]() Cc MarvellousGod ![]() |
Woged2005:Gurl ![]() You and I have so much in common! I could swear you are my clone. Choi! But then, let's not rule out the fact that people share their opinions and perspectives to issues based on personal experiences. For all we know, those women may have only been exposed to men who are really insecure. |
Woged2005: true!I totally agree. You attract what you can handle. This is why I advocate that single ladies should work at reaching the height they can attain. But in the end. When God blesses you with a good man, there's no limit to how much more you can grow. ![]() |
Wow. I am soo glad I stumbled on this thread! How come I am just seeing it though? ![]() My wedding was fixed for March 28. I'm sure you guys know by now what a wedding on that date in Naija means. ![]() Anyways, we had to move it to May cos we already paid for reception venue and all other dates after the first date was already booked. May was the closest we could get. I'm practically not doing anything as regards planning. I have a great support system thank God. Also, no asoebi! I no get strength to ask people for money. Just wear anything that matches the color of the day. Family insists on getting their asoebi though. Also, no brides/grooms men. LOL. Just maid of honor and best man. |
lolaredvelvet:Always welcome . ![]() |
lolaredvelvet:Don't bother! I am a very strong, independent kinda gurl. But when it came to planning the wedding, I took the back seat. LOL. Marriage is the important thing but the wedding is the gateway, so just go the extra to get it out of the way. LOL. |
Dear lolaredvelvet, I totally understand your plight, as I had a quite similar situation. Worse was, we wanted to have an outdoor wedding where the pastor will come join us and reception holds at the same venue, cos it is a garden right? Parents in law said NO WAY! Lol. That if it is not in a church building, it will not be recognized by God. . The back and forth between my fiance and his parents was getting too intense. I didn't even want the white wedding in the first place! So I had to pacify my "oga" to agree with his parents just to get the whole ceremony over with.So many requirements from the church that can stress you out, but you have to keep your goal in view. During the marriage class, there was this couple, the guy is based in the US and had to come all the way to go through the class for 2months. He is getting married next weekend. You have to ask yourself if it's worth the sacrifice and if it is, you know what to do. ![]() |
Woged2005:Exactly! I had to make a conscious decision to take the leap this year. I realized I was putting career before the really amazing man God gave me. And I didn't even know it! Even when family and friends always pointed that out to me. It is really tough for ladies who are career driven to put a career they are passionate about on hold. |
AgapeCharis:LOL |
Sexychristeen:Eya! ![]() I'm sorry for expressing sympathy. Don't really like to pity people. May God bless your hustles, reward you mightily and cause you to look nothing like your present situation. Amen. ![]() So Ndissle, I think you have a partner. ![]() |
AgapeCharis: ![]() |

AgapeCharis:LOL. I thought you were too "righteous" to be naughty. ![]() Actually, I love cucumbers because of its tremendous health benefits. But, I don't get to eat them as often as I'd like to. Oh, I just remembered there's one in the kitchen. Lemme go take a good ![]() |
Ndissle:Oh... I am not based in Lagos. Sorry. But, do you search online? |
AgapeCharis:Am I missing something here? I thought we were talking about seats? ![]() |
AgapeCharis:The specie is AFRICAN CUCUMBER! And that is what the seat looks like! Why are you finding it hard to believe? Or is there something else the seat is supposed to look like? ![]() |
AgapeCharis:African Cucumber ![]() |
Lala247: What are you on about gurl? |
ZedX6:You could have just struck out the part you disagreed with. I found his suggestions great. Especially the customized gold chain. ![]() |
