My advice to NLC and TUC or whichever group to lead the protest is to evolve new tactics for the protest.Total lock down will not work and its getting old fahioned. You do not need force the whole country to stay at home, all u need is get the support of key unions such as PENGASSAN,NUPENG,NURTW,ASSBIFI,NMA,NBA and all other vital bodies to support the strike and i tell you if this unions decide not to go to work i tell you nigeria will grind to a halt automatically. Dont worry abt the petty trader,vulcanizer,farmer,tailor,hair dresser and all other common people who live on daily subsistence because by the time this major unions dont work and the economy is being halted thy will all be whipped in line to join the struggle.

I wish him luck,I pray we get the best brains to lead us out of the lacuna we r in at the moment and our vote shuld truly count. Anything but this clueless GEJ is welcome for me.

The govt shuld seek amnesty for thses people because i am sure many of them will equally be remorseful and truly repentant supposedly like alams,they have a right to state pardon and they are very valuable manpower tht will be useful to this country as well.Afterall they did not steal money belonging to anybody, they were only trying to eck a living and if people like alams had not stolen and missappropriated our commonwealth but used it for the development of this country and created gainfull employment thr would have bin no need for them to traffic drugs in the first place.

I am not sure if the IGR includes federal allocation.However i belong to the school of tht that sees nothing wrong with states having debts as long as it can be properly managed and it is for the right reasons and purpose.

Tht project was initiated in 2009.Your GEJ is getting it all wrong,Its not abt him or hw many projects he wants to do,our problem is not hw many roads or rail lines we can build but tht we need to change the way governance operates.Look at naija"s budget over the years,thy have bin under implemented and we always hav a deficit,it is also so lopsided tht the center takes the largest proportion to the detriment of the states,govt is obviously too large. True federalism is the answer and let each state/region take control of there own devt.We need a weaker center with strong semi independent units.Your GEj and his PDP are not seeing this but keep putting us thru this inefficient system,tht has failed us over and over again.
The best your GEJ can do for us is to let us have the kind of pre 1966 govt structure we operated not necessarily parliarmentary.Then with this the devt we seek will come.

You would know tht nations of the world are all competing to be the investment and tourism hub of the world and every nation is trying to prove they are the ideal location in the world.You need to have a competitive edge to get ahead, such as good economy, peace and security,socio political stability and tourism destinations. Since Nigeria is not known to hav achieved much in any of this areas,you need other means to prove to the world tht u r a viable destination for investments, which we obviously need.

I watched tht interview and i saw Dr.Abati only tryin to explain to us wht state pardon is and wht its not like we dont alredy know. The question shuld not be whether Alams could get state pardon or not but tht whether it was morally correct and wht was GEJ's ulterior motive.
To me its morally wrong and further depicts GEJ as an apostle of corruption. And for DR.Abati i really commend the way he is goin abt his obviously difficult job of defending this very unintelligent and unassuming president. HE is doin a yeoman's job and i tell u even if he were to be the devils spokesman he will still do a gud job at letting us see reasons why we shuld follow the devil to hell fire.
