Kaybaba65: Good talk my sister. United we stand...may we not fall IJMN. Our grammatical prowress is not essential but unity of purpose. Thanks and God blessAmen my brother. Its all for our own good. We shall all testify @ d end IJN. |
Guys, this is not the time to argue or quarell over anything at all. We are in a very delcate situation here and this forum I suppose was created to serve a purpose which is to help one another with this lottery matter and not to show our grammertic prowress n all. How do u xpect us to even be unified in prayer when d house in ma point of view seem divided? Even d Holy Bible says "can two come together except they agree?". So brothers, let's kindly for the sake of peace and progress put aside every differences (be it personal, e-beefing or group) and concentrate on d issue @ hand which is to make sure that everyone on this forum, both prospective members ends up with a testimony plzzzz! Need I remind u dat d devil isn't happy with what we are about to achieve and would do anytin to steal it away. Let's @ least not giv him d joy. So pls, let's watch it n relate with one another in love n peace as one big e-family. God bless us all. Amen. |
XYZZ: i just got this email from state.gove:Yeah. Meaning they'v already sent it, its just our network. Just keep checking, it will inevitably pop up. Congrats. Go collect that visa, its urs! |
Just as d majority have said, let's fix 27-29th for fasting (n prayers of cause), then 30th being d last day of d month for intensive prayers to usher us into d new month n fiscal year for we d 2014 dv winners. This will be a significant step and d heavens shall be open for us in Jesus name. Laws and protocols shall be broken for our sake because God's grace is upon each and everyone of us on this great forum. We are more than Conquerors and It is Settled! Amen! (Let all that's in favour say Aye! N if not, say Nay! Lol.) |

Amefrica: Hi house, pls look into my case.. I applied for DV 2014 which I was not chosen in May selection. And now I'm a prospective student of a University in Minnesota, I already paid for the VISA fee and other stuffs, my interview is sometime around 2nd week of October..I'lld advice u go for ur programme and keep checking ur status for d fiscal year-2014. If u end up getting selected, well then, fine. D same should go with ur intention of playing for the 2015 visa lottery. Remember, this is all a game of luck and Grace and not a certainty until it comes into reality. Hence, do not put ur life on hold in any way cos of d lottery until it materialises. So pls, continue wit ur student visa processing and d lottery along side. Hope this helps. |
kevwe_flex: The email address is correct. Just download, fill, print, scan and attached before sending. Note: Remember to quote your full name, DOB, CN in the body of the message. As for the passports, I don't think there's any need to attach that. Except you have issues with the previous one as well. Although I sent mine as a pdf, I don't know if you can do that as well as it is advanced. Then the Subject, you can write Re: Update on .... form.@Kevwe_flex and Lagbabe, thanks guys, I really appreciate. |
komakan: Thanks Ewhoma.My pleasure. |
kevwe_flex: Use email. I used email when I wanted to update my forms as well. They acknowledged receipt and it was added to my case. Using courier would cost you much.Ok. So d email is KCCDV@state.gov right? And in what format do I send d forms and passport photograps in (as I suppose I'll just need to download, fill, print, scan and send right)? And the body of d email, what do I write? That I am correcting some errors made in d first form I sent or what. Pls, I need a step to step direction on dis as I dnt want to make anoda mistake. Thanks for ur help. God bless u. |
komakan: Last Bulletin was out on August 14. Please, any idea of September Bulletin date? Thanks.I think d bulletin is been updated on d 10th or 15th of every month. Latest 15th |
kaygee1977: You can always fill another form and send to KCC...I filled over 10 forms updating my educational informations as it progresses. Even filled a week to my interview. It was the one I filled last before my interview that was used. Do the correction and resend to KCC. They are humans, they know we are bound to make mistakes as long as we correct them for clarity, there is no wahals.remember to swear an affidavit for the name thing. Despite my many forms...the last one was Used and my visa was approved. Stay blessed. Thanks Kaygee1977. But how do I do dt again? Even if, I can't use d courier service again cos its just too xpensive as I used DHL d first time. Kindly giv me directives as to hw to go about this pls? Your response is greatly anticipated. Thanks n God bless |
John Morgan: This is wrong. NPC is a national body and is supposed to have a central database of all births in the country. This means that you can actually request for the attestation of your birth from any state of the federation irrespective of where you were born. I was born in the East and i got my attestation of birth here in Lagos. Likewise my wife was born in the North and got hers here in Lagos. Our visas were issued with any issues. Please obtain your attestation from where you are. You only need to come to Lagos for your Police Character certificate and Medical Examinations. Good Luck.I gave dis response with an incident I witnessed first hand @ NPC, lagos didn't I? Anyways, what harm would it do if u get it from ur state of birth if dt would put u on a safer side? D fact dt u n ur wife got ur visas inspite of dis dsnt mean it would be like dt for every oda person u know. Different strokes for different folks rem? Anyways, it is a matter of choice. I only gave my own contribution though. Besides, d guy like I said was applying for a German visa nt America. So, best of luck felas. |
ukemeglitter: Thanks frnd,NPC should be in each of d 36 states of d federation I believe. If he needs to get an NPC cert, it would have to be from an NPC branch in his state of birth o. U can't claim u were given birth to in Delta state for example and come to Lagos state NPC office to collect a cert. Cos I witnessed d case of a guy @ NPC surulere d day I went for mine, who was applying for a German Visa n was sent bak 4rm d embassy because he claimed to have been given birth to in Lagos n collected his birth cert from NPC enugu. Pls, endeavor to have ur birth cert done in ur state of birth. (NPC office of cos) |
This is wishing everyone whose interviews has been scheduled for October the very best of results. Go and collect ur visa as God almighty shall grant u all favor so much dt u would have no choice but to come back here and testify in Jesus name! Amen. |
coop: sThanks. I'v already done dt, found nothing similar to my case. Anyways, I'v resolved to having an affidavit of name hamonisation for my name, but I am not sure of what to do about d sch name's mistake I made. Thanks a lot for ur concern, God bless u. and I am female. |
ewhoma: Pls house, I am a Dv2014 selectee. I have 2 questions to ask pls. I have two ssce results, waec n neco from 2 diffrent schls... Now, on my neco result, I used my middle name, which was pronounced in full on d result issued by d sch itself (EwhomaZino) and on d testimonial from neco itself, its abbreviation (E). Now, on every other documents since after my ssce (talking about tertiary n d rest) till date, even for dis lottery, I had shortened my middle name to Zino (of which my waec carries just my first n last name. Now, does this pose any threat or do I need to go do an affidavit of some sort? Rem, its just my neco. And my second question is dis: I made a mistake of filling in "Na wa o. Is it that u guys don't respond to any other person except ur fellow 2013 winners or something? I thought this was suppose to be a forum for helping people of similar conditions irrespective of the year of winning? Yet, tens of oda discussions has been held since after I posted mine n no one has even tried giving a word of advice. Naija! Hmmm... |
XYZZ: It is well brother, God will see us through as we await for our 2NL@ZYZZ, thanks again. But I am a lady o. Lol" @Komakan, thanks bro. |
XYZZ: I think for the name issue Affidavit will be the best just to be on a safe side, because my weac has wrong date of birth and i have done an Affidavit to back it up should in case the CO ask. I will advice you to always read DV 2013 Winners Meet Here, it will help i tell you, because you have alot to lean from there. Thanks XYZZ. I think I'll have to do dt when next I go to lagos cos I am in my state of deployment right now. And I also sent dis to d dv2013 site to see der opinion too, especially on d sch name palava. I know I can always get an affidavit 4 my own name. I pray someone from there respond to dt since dey have gone tru d process b4. Thanks again n God bless u. |

And my second question is dis: I made a mistake of filling in " " Int'l college for d sch where I wrote d neco instead of " " secondary sch due to d fact dt I wasn't with my documents when I was filling d Dsp forms I sent to kenturky because I was very far from home where my documents were. Of which I got to discover later after I had sent d forms. Pls, how do u think dis will be viewed? Cos even in my neco testimonial, it is typed " " secondary sch. Thank u. |

I'ld love to ask a favour (on my behalf and those of us whose interview has not yet been scheduled) of those whose interview has been scheduled for october to pls come back here after their interview to share with us their experience and give us a list of any other document(s) aside d ones we already know asked for by d CO during d interview. Wishing u all a successful one. May d grace of God go with u. For it is not of he that willeth, but of God dt showeth mercy. Thanks and God bless. Peace. |
kevwe_flex: Guys instead of arguing and showing your ignorance publicly. Remember the instructions from your 1NL and I quote, ' Therefore, it is very important that you carefully follow instructions to increase your chances of possible visa issuance. The instructions are located on the Department of State website at http://www.dvselectee.state.gov '. Bro, u need police clearance from country/countries you've lived in for at least 6 months. Go to their embassy or high commission to make inquiries as to how to go about it. Also from the above link I gave above and also from experiences of DV2013 folks, it is clear that it's at Alagbon, fingerprint section you get your police clearance from.God bless u @Kevwe_flex. This is what I'v been saying and it is right there on the site. No matter what part of Nigeria u live in, those are the only recognised places to get ur medicals n police records if u really want to get ur visa. So, I'll urge us all to go through the instruction site again and read it thoroughly. God bless. |
Vikktorr: virginofafrica seems to be correct. If you have lived in other countries other than Nigeria for more than six months, then you MUST get a police report from that country. For example, Lets say,i schooled in the UK for somes years and now back to Nigeria, i'll have to get a police report of behaviour from the police department in the UK. Please someone correct me if i'm wrong. Thank you.My response was given according to "Ikomboy's" question which was about living in different states in d country (Nigeria) and not outside d country. Of cause, even if u are a Nigerian n have lived in say Ghana or any oda country for d past six months or more, u definitely would have to get ur police report from dt country, irrespective of ur country of nationality. But as a Nigerian, all road leads to Alagbon no matter what state u'v been living in in d country. I saw d address myself on theeir website. For Nigeria, its Alagbon. Just trace it from d instructions for dv slectees website down to how to obtain ur legal documents...stay blessed |
virginofafrica: am sorry to object. from their official website it was clearly stated! that your police report should be obtain from the place you lived in the past six months. So give reference and not a definite answer "Alagon" i mean no rudeness :-) stay blessYour police report has to be from Alagbon. It is plainly written there on the website when u visit d instructions for dv selectee site.we should rem that each country has their process and they know dis @ d embassy.just walk into Alagbon police headquaters in Ikoyi n tell dem u are going to d "fingerprint section" to have ur police report done. You will be directed as it is not new to dem. But, beware of toughts. |
Thanks guys. When do u think I will be current pls? My CN is 2014AF0001055* |
Hello house. I heard Nigerians are not asked for proof of financial support in DV lottery. Hw true is dt pls? Because d person who told me dat won d 2011 lottery n he is over there now. He said he wasn't asked for a proof of financial support. Thanks |
Oh! Halleluyah! Thanks a lot morgan. God bless u. |
Pls, can I combine both Waec and Neco results during d interview? Both were listed in d forms sent back to them anyways. And how will u be notified of ur interview? And is the proof of support form(form 1-134) or any other eveidence of financial support needed to be submitted @ d interview? Thanks |
