TIMIJAT: Please I just upgraded my HTC touch 4g to 4.0.4.(glacier)...and I Ave been able to download the bbm....but its just telling me this wireless connection stuff....please does it really means bbm can't work in 4.0..but only higher....so I can ho and upgrade it more....or is it just mere network tins......tanksGet a wireless connection or a good data reception. Theres dis Etisalat tweak rumoured to be working with YourFreedom on PC and Android. Anyone heard of that? Planning to tryout soon. I have to cut down my SIM to micro. Feeds later. Anyone already did? |

ifex370: tell us whr we can get the custom rom 4.x for gingerbread....i have other tools for falshing my tecno n3Theres no upgrade ROM for Tecno devices as they are not recognised. Na for Naija here una carry am for head. Developers dont know about it. Only tecno Can roll out the upgrade which I"m pretty sure they wont. instead, they'll release a new fone. mobeenet: im using tecno n3. nd wia can i get d bbm dat can work with gingerbread os? pls i need it...BBM aint working for Gingerbread yet. HTC, Samsung etc xcept Tecno that runs on Gingerbread can be upgraded to 4.x and would be able to do that. |

Go to settings, then Power and Untick the Fastboot option. Power down ur device . Hold the Volume Down button and power the fone. You'll get a white screen with some writings in Blue, Pink etc. See if you have LOCKED or UNLOCKED Bootloader and also S-OFF or S-ON. If you have Locked, you'll neet a PC to Unlock it... Then download Universal AndRoot apk or Framaroot. Try dos... if they dont work. its impossible. U"ll need a PC 1 Like 1 Share |

cjudy: @F.K.O am even surprise that you ask that kind of question of HTC running 2.3. meanwhile HTC sensation is a phone that has the highest Custom and Stock ROMs. I have more than 7 4.3 ROMs, 15 4.2.2 ROMs, 7 4.2 ROMs, 28 4.1 ROMs, 3 4.0.1 ROMs, now am compiling 4.4 kitkart ROM and am gonna be d first to install it. [size=16pt] And to clear the air. BBM hasnt been reported to work successfully on 2.3.x GB devices. A version was said to be ported by RTJ3 on XDA. But all he just did was to unpack the apk and change SDK level to 10 which means the app would install on GingerBread instead of the "error parsing package" it formally gives. Yeah, it would install but would always force close when you run it. Thats that... And for ones who would still upgrade the 2.3.x to 4.x Another setback has been reported to hinder the app from working on devices upgraded from 2.3.x to 4.x and thats the CPU Processor ARM Version. A device with ARMv6 even when upgraded to KitKat! 4.4 would not make BBM work successfully on it... Would only install. So devices with with ARMv7 and 2.3.x can upgrade to 4.x and would run the BBM successfully. So if you're gonna pay anyone for upgrade. Know you Processor type. So you wouldn't upgrade for zero sake.
