Please my inverter last night is screaming short circuit and it’s green light is turning red when ever I switch it on. And I could perceive something burnt the second time I tried to test it!. Please house what can I do, I need light this new year oo

Blown Mosfets... The inverter needs to see an Engineer.

The more you restart, more mosfets blow up.

So I have decided to use GiF and Photos for interpreting results.

Connect the battery to the inverter when it's off. Noticed the quick 0.05A draw then down to 0.00A. That's the capacitor getting charged.

The inverter turned on with "No Load" Power supply reads 0.56A.

(My Opinion)
There isn't and shouldn't be consumption for an inverter when it is in OFF state. Also, there isn't any term for it.

The terms "Idle Consumption" and "No Load Consumption" is the same consumption with different pronunciation.

Because it's on directly on the battery's path before the switching starts. The button/switch to open the gate to the inverter is inside the inverter.

The consumption exist just for the charge up. When its filled, that's all.

That's why after the first spark, if you remove the battery for like 3 seconds on reconnect, it doesn't spark. Because the capacity is still charged.

See this Luminous inverter for example it has some lights on it.. which comes on as soon as you connect to batteries...

Maybe those lights comes up with magic. no mind me oo

So those little lights or meter on your inverter will consume power even Switched OFF, I hope you are clear now?

Should this be used for all inverters. What about inverters that doesn't have these?

These people dont even know what the term "endangered" means. The mindset that "these animals were there for them to satisfy hunger" still lives with them. They don't know there's a zoo, or someone what's to see the animals in a caged space.

You and I built this mindset because we went to school and learnt one or two english.

This is the kind of things I don't like, both the buyer and the seller do not know the product the have. This solar lamp is very straightforward read and research before you buy. Most in the market cannot do 24 hrs continous light. That is why it is written on the remote to choose 2 or 3 hrs.
