Just go settings... u'll see accounts... tap on d google account.. u"ll see the persons account. .. Just delete it... Go to Playstore , it should ask u for a new account. enter urs.

Based on the Rooting and Upgrade to install BBM!

I learnt Rooting and Upgrading any device with ARM6 Processor would still not make BBM compatible...
Also for ARM7 but a mate on XDA rtj3 has ported a BBM version for ARM7 Devices.

Like i posted earlier, I upgraded a HTC Chacha with 2.3 to 4.2.2 JB
I was only able to install the app, but it Force Closes whenever i open it.. Then i learnt its a ARM6 Device. So its not gonna work!
So if you're gonna Upgrade your device, first get to know What processor u have.

If you can, since you rooted, you should have CWM Recovery. Get a rom for your device, Boot into recovery, Wipe the device and flash the new rom.

I installed BBM on HTC chacha that has 2.3 after flashing a 4.2.2 JB Custom ROM. Though it FCs anytime I tried to open iy. But I'm still making my research sha. If its a stock android ROM, it should work.

whatsapp can only send Media Files.
I shared the BBM apk file on BBM. Whatsapp cant do that. To be sure. Go to any file manager on ur fone, find a Non-Media file and tap on the Share button. Whatsapp wont be on the list but BBM would.
