Despite the inability of the more supported football team Super Eagles to bring glory to Nigeria, the handball counterpart just won gold trophy this year’s World Handball Championship in Gothenburg, Sweden . The handball teams comprising the male team (State House Kings) and female team (State House Kings) from the State House Sports Club had set out to Sweden on the approval of the president to participate in the international competition involving about 45 top countries in the world. The team arrived the presidential villa on Monday evening with the gold trophy. The President said, while he, like other Nigerians, had thought Nigeria would win the Gold Trophy at the ongoing 2014 FIFA World Cup but painfully missed it, the World Cup ironically came to the country by way of the gold trophy won by the handball team in Sweden. no matter the honours or award Mikel Obillis wins please be honest and dont compare him to the likes of Jay Jay Okocha..it is absurd and an insult.. OBI showed brilliance in 05/06....After then He has failed to improve..playing counter progressive football and cant control d midfield as a 10 should...if u watched d match against France u see how he was unable to spread d ball and even hold possession..He was jst strolling in circles.... i feel many here are failing to understand his situation... Onyeka is good in literature and wrote an award winning book @ 18, hence his passion and inclination is towards arts..
