Nawa to some girls sha...
Okay na me be village girl number one...I did it
Stomping palm fruit doesn't reduce who you are. For one, it actually make your feet neater than any feet treatment ever could. It's a very enjoyable form of exercise (dancing)...and you end up producing something worthwhile (palm oil). The few times I did it at the villa,I actually had to beg to be allowed to do it...and believe you me, I don't regret it one bit...
Cool. but you just made me wanna dump my Nigerian made Palm oil. So you used the process as a form of buffing your feet callus? Jeez.

I heard dodo ikire is processed same way too. angry

But OP, isnt it same way men always talk about women? Isnt it same song that all women are gold diggers, lazy and greedy and will dump a long suffering bf as soon as a rich guy comes along?
A look on most NL post and you find that its our women that are most abused, attacked and called mean and condescending names.
99% of married naija men cheat and that is a known fact if we dont want to decieve ourselves. Many naija men dont see cheating as a big deal. They feel its normal as long as tge wife is not affected by it(far from her knowledge)
Lord have mercy
Family › Re: About Men, Cheating And Family by Ewuro4: 2:27pm On Jun 06, 2015
TooNoisy:
So if 99 percent of 9ja men cheat? Who do these men cheat with? If a man sleeps with a woman, why is it that only the man is accused of cheating. I am a woman but I wouldn't make excuses for fellow women. Our society is full of immortality. For every man cheating, there is a woman cheating.

If a girl slept with a married man while she was young, or double/triple dated in her twenties, she has no right to complain about a cheating husband! She is just at the receiving end of her own game!
WORD!

I don't even know what the noise is all about, WOMEN CHEAT TOO. Two can play the game. So yall should stop feeling too important. grin

Setaje:
There is nothing like eavesdropping. It's a social media and everybody uses it. Meaning anybody is entitled to see whatever anybody post. Doesn't mean people are eavesdropping abeg! The only thing is as a viewer, u have a choice of looking away or commenting . People who look away have a lot of things to say or write but decide to be quiet about it or just ponder on it while those who talk have been termed different things like haters, freedom fighters and people like u who think they don't have life. At the end of the day it's left for sensitive viewers to understand that nothing is real on social media except what u do and what u feel. I can't say that for innocent children.

That's the only place feminism gets talked about; Nairaland. No one does anything or says anything on feminism in Nigeria, apart from that chiamanda woman (I destroyed her name). She writes an article once every 4 months to tickle women's fancy, then crawls back to her cave. grin

The reason for feminism taking a back seat isn't far fetched, we have bigger fish to fry in nigeria. A concrete judicial and law enforcement system needs to be established before laws in favor of feminism can be passed and effective. Hardly 3 square meals for most, no electricity, fuel, clean water..... feminism is at the bottom of that list.

The irony is, it's the Nigerian females in developed country that mostly support feminism (after dey don belleful), not the ones back home. Meanwhile, the ones back home are the ones in need to embrace the movement. It's very easy to talk about feminism all day with unlimited wifi, smooth roads and constant electricity.

Talk about medicine for someone else's headache. grin

TooNoisy:
Spot on. Nigerians are about the easiest people to confuse. One wonders why the feminists movement isn't getting any attention in Asia and the Middle East, but seems to be talked about in Nigeria.

But the truth is that feminism isn't making headway in Nigeria at all. We just have a bunch on wannabees on Nairaland who want to feel western but if you examine their lives there is nothing feminist about them.

One of the leading feminists on Nairaland recently got married and traveled abroad to join her husband where she is not currently working. She has not worked for the past one year; all she does is clean, cook and come here to grumble about men on Nairaland. Lot's of such goons in the family section. Just go into the the family section fun room and you will hear their real stories. All they do is cook and clean but the come out and shout they are feminists. Jobless people in real life.

How many of you feminists take turns to cook with your husband? How many of you feminists take turns to do dishes with your husband? How many of you feminists take turns to do heavy lifting with your husbands? A complete bunch of jokers.
