Anyways, you should know lagging issues on phones generally is a function of how much free memory RAM you have left on your phone . Probably what you need is Camon C9+ phantom 6 both with 3GB, not this 1GB

Just saw the actual chart now. This is incredible and a good effort from Tecno. My only disappointment is why wasn't the detailed methods used in collecting the data for this report included, so it can provide more resources for would-be critics to flaw or agree with the whole process and results.

But I must say, in the absence of any loopholes, this is really, really impressive and sets a model for how to achieve success in anything one does on a personal or business level.

I completely agree with with this report, not because I'm a Tecno user, but it's a near-accurate depiction of public perception of these mobile brands in the country.

Basically, aside international mobile giants like Apple and Samsung, no other phone brands is on everyone's lips in Nigeria than Tecno(I mean the average Nigerian, who forms the bulk of the population).

You only need to visit phone stores and telcom's outlets to confirm this.

Instead of buying a used phone, why not buy a brand new Tecno Y2 with that amount. Slot sells it N19,500 while Jumia goes for N 19,000.

Haha. Times have changed o. Tecno realized this negative "rep" too and decided the best thing to do is to up their game from being seen as "chinko" to world-class brand.

If you ask me I think they are to that now if we can watch Man City games and see Tecno logo being displayed all over Manchester. That's absolutely big.

I always see people with very old Tecno phones just like mine. I can't say that for Gionee. Its always new ones I see with people around me.

The brand has really improved but until people try it , they don't ever realize it. Keep enjoying your Tecno W3. Its a great smartphone.

But there is parental control on the phone and mostly like apps that prevent visiting certain adult sites. If truly that Tecno W5 can do it, I have no problems recommending it for the boy.

If you are using "excellent specs" and "reasonable price" in the same sentence, that should be Tecno phones. I think a large percentage of folks out there alraedy know this.

Except I'm mistaken, I'm yet to see any other brand fit this description.

This is absolutely correct.
I did a bit of reading and found out it's a marshmallow feature which effectively makes other smartphones on marshmallow capable of the parental control.
Like the new Tecno W5 and 5 lite.

Back to OPs question. A smartphone is the key to unfettered access to the internet and the many benefits and dangers that come with it.
Personally I think the longer you wait to give your child a smartphone, the better. 15 years onward is about right.

Can Tecno W5 actually do this? Because my boss was comtemplating what best phone to buy for his teenage son but was scared of the influence of Social Media on the boy's school work. I might recommend this to him if he hasn't bought already.
