I'm having the same issues.

Only wifi works well. The Mobile Data does not connect until I reset it over and over again.

Sighs! I guess Tecno is still Tecno no matter the cloth you wear for it. Its unfortunate.

Both of you need to take your phones Carlcare if you have genuine claims tho and not just routine bad mouthing. Should be fixed ASAP.

The lifespan of most phones is 2 years. When you buy a used phone, you probably get like 6 months left of value. Just buy a brand new phone.

Samsung S7 edge isn't on Nougat. It is not water-proof and isn't small screen but Tecno is always fun to pick on.

I will advise you buy a brand new phone if you want to enjoy it long. One of the best android phone that budget could get you is Tecno Y2. It sells for N17,500 at both SLOT and Jumia.

Try uninstalling some unnneeded apps and check you have the latest version OS on your phone.

If the problem still persists, it's better you take a trip to a CarlCare center near you. You might get it fixed for free, depending on the actual nature of the problem. That's what I did when my Boom J8 was having problems and it's OK now.

Honesty I really don't know what Tecno is trying to do. Throwing Xmas parties all about town and giving out lots of gifts. I hope they are not trying to launch some new phones in January o. grin

I'll rather take a risk with a Tecno product, despite the bad rep of being called "Chinko" I always see people with very old and heavily used Tecno phones all the time.

Maybe it's because Tecno has more years of experience than Gionee.

The first culprit of slow charging is your USB cord forming too much electrical resistance. Borrow another charger and charge it if it improves, just buy a new charger.

Tecno seem to be the most daring of these three. I wouldn't be surprised if their 2017 flagships come equipped with something like that on-screen fingerprint scanner. They signed some major contracts middle of 2016 with a world class mobile security firm, TrustLook. TrustLook might just want to impress on the contract by coming up with something really really cutting-edge in terms of security.

My only advice is you buy the C9 as soon as you can. The rate at which that phone is going out of stock is alarming. Just checked that SLOT that were selling it around 61k are already out of stock and Jumia just pumped their price to N70k+ recently.

Just dont dull, act fast before the phone gets out of your budget, bro.

Except you multitask a lot and you are one of those game freaks out there, the only thing you miss ,based on your budget of 50k , when you buy W5 is the extra 1GB RAM. C9 is 2GB RAM while W5 is 1GB RAM.

apart from that both phones are almost head to head in most features.
