litetias: Where in the Bible does it say you should give your tithe to the church. Church of a thing started to exist after Christ came and nowhere did he mention anything like tithing neither did his disciples. The temple of the levites is not "church". That is Judaism. Christianity as a religion founded by Christ has never believed in the tithing of the Moses traditiin, its something borrowed from the old testament by these greedy pastors and accepted by gullible people like you who believe their prosperity teaching Where is the house of God? litetias: Well most of these churches are worth hundreds of millions of naira so they should be spending a lot on charity. And if they are doing this everyone will know because you can't hide a good thing. But they are only spending peanuts compared with their vast income thats why we don't hear about it. As for Oga Joshua that one is pure notice me But I put it to you that you give tithe in church because of the sweet mouth of the pastor that God will bless you abundantly and all that but if you are the creator of mankind would you be happy when people are giving your money to one man to be building mansions and living large instead of using it to help the rest of your creatures who are underprivileged? Its simple Go to Malachai 3:9-11, then i believe on this issue of where to take your to will be settled. |

God never forced anybody to pay tithe or give offerings. Each time that giving is being talked about or any kind of giving, you see ignorant & greedy Christians giving analysis that has no backup from the scriptures.some will say the pastor are thieves that they've charmed their members, some will even say that we should rather give to the poor as if they do. If its #10 that u have to give, do it and stop looking @ those giving large sums in cheques, POS and cash. All hands and hearts are not dsame. |

The best way to pay your tithe to God is to give it to the poor but these god of men wouldn't tell you that because they don't care about your relationship with God. This is how you deceive yourselves ingorantly, tell me where it is written in the Bible that we should give our tithes to the poor? I'm waiting o |

Human being are very funny. Man need to be properly informed, these people condemning the use of POS in the church are the same kind of people that are afraid of going to the supermarket(cos they believe its either for the rich ones or things are expensive there), not knowing that things are even cheaper in the supermarket than other normal stores. It is insulting in every regard. Its like the minister wearing the scarf is the only reason for signing the agreement paper. I belief that we should rather concentrate on the content of the agreement. Is it for loan? |

christopher123: What sort of stupidity is going on in this country ...a self styled pastor that have women serve him naked ..I mean stark naked and at the end of the day he felt deified...now the climax is that he pured fuel on some girls and burned them ...he said his name is Rev Pastor King...now he has been condemned. That is the law. If you do the crime you got to do the time
Now some igbo or some idiots that claim that they are igbo are asking that he should be left free! Can you imagine how far we have debased. I am an igbo man and I hate it when sentimentality is brought to things that should be tackled logically. This is madness
This dude called King or Rev King killed an innocent and gullible woman and if the court has found him guilty and he should be hanged so be it . God bless his soul. We should stop whipping up tribal sentiments ...the first was Metuh, then Onyeka that songstress now this so called pastor Rev King ...
He is a disgrace to christiandom ,a disgrace to igbohood and a disgrace to sanity. Jesus was simple and he never attributed anything to himself ..we as Christians should follow his steps ...if this was when Christianity was Christianity... He would have been ostracised and excommunicated by Catholic Church .. What a travesty
On what happened to the family of the people he killed or roasted ....
I will be just and fair . I will say the truth yes I am igbo, yes I am a Christian , yes, I am a black ...this is not a tribal thing because all the tribe commit heinous crimes and this isn't a race thing cos all the race commit bizzare crimes so we should call a spade a spade. Yes I deeply understand that igbo look out for their brothers be it anywhere that is fine but while doing this we shouldn't condone some evil which I know many igbo do not
Those pleading for the Rev King are not igbo spokesmen but they are paid pleaders with igbo sounding names which their origin are questionable ....
Rev King should do the time cos he did the crime ...simple Who ever said anything concerning this very issue, dats the person's opinion but the supreme court, which is the highest court in the land has taken a decision which supersedes any persons, groups and organizations. So be it. Please this is not an issue for contention nd there's no need bringing it up here. Maybe your intention is to deliberately create unnecessary tension. |

robosky02: Seven-time African champions Egypt are beatable because they are not as good as they were four years ago, according to former Nigeria coach Sunday Oliseh.
Oliseh quit as Eagles coach on Thursday after claiming several contractual breaches by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
Nigeria will welcome the Pharaohs to Kaduna on March 25 in the first leg of an AFCON qualifying double header.
Oliseh quit a month to this all-important, but he has restated his belief Nigeria could triumph to get their AFCON qualifying campaign back on track.
“Egypt are not as good as they were four years ago, we can beat them,” he maintained on a radio interview Saturday morning.
He reserved his comments on the coaches who have been appointed to replace him ahead of the matches next month.
“It doesn’t matter who is there, what matters is that Nigeria advance,” he said when asked about the Samson Siasia-led coaching crew named to lead the Eagles against Egypt.

If really the Egyptians are not as good as they were 4yrs ago, just like he said why then did he resigned? Wouldn't he had wanted to have it on his CV, that he defeated the Pharaoh of Egypt.
