With your insult of the Igbos, I hope you are not counting on their votes in 2023. Clap for your 'smart' self.

Good. Way to go. I wonder what the South East Governors are waiting for before they pass such bills too.

Mr Umahi still did not confirm or deny the allegation. Useless man. Ebonyi people should stay vigilant before Umahi sells them out.

What do you know about slavery. If that's the only argument you have in support of slavery then I can't argue with you any further. You should read history to understand how the system started and sustained. You should also look at the long term effect of the phenomenon and its impacts on our institutions.
I guess slavery by the whites is the reason why Nigerians have refused to restructure their country for better government and economic growth?

Some of them don't necessarily steal from people. They use their names and identities to launder money for the real criminals (politicians). At the end, they keep a certain percentage which they flaunt. You won't be able to pin a visible source of living to them but they are very rich. Remember the Panama leaks that implicated Bukola Saraki, who laundered the money for him? Many of them know what I am on about.

That said, don't cheat people out of their sweat or participate in the cheating. It is not cleverness, it is lack of understanding of the laws of human nature. Many mostly never end well. It is not a curse, it is the law. It is either they are fugitives of the law or their children suffer. Let politicians read how Alamieyeseigha's empire collapsed and learn.
They are all stealing from the people actually. The laundered money is money stolen from the people.

And who told you hard work pays? If it really does, politicians won’t always be so desperate to win elections or be re-elected. They would look for something else to do. Dig deep into how the likes of Dangote, Otedola and co got this rich and you will realize we are all thieves. It’s only a handful of people that got so rich through hard work.
Right on point. Nigeria is one huge criminal enterprise.

Funny! Most of them know how to show off their wealth and material assets acquired but 99% never reveal their source of income. No factories/ industries/ company or how many people they have employed. Did the wealth just fall from the sky! They re all shady! Period!
I have concluded a long time ago that majority (not all) of rich people in Nigeria are criminals.

Mompha's case is because he's the picker for them all...their fate lies in his hands now but since he has also collected his share, he will not spill and serve the terms only.
Yeah right. Not true. A lot of Nigerians (and Americans) are thriving through crime. We only get to hear about the ones that get caught. Even their President, Trump is not clean. Don't you wonder why he is fighting aggressively to prevent the release of his tax records? There are criminals in every country.

We don't defend criminals like you defend your drug peddling blodas. You blame everyone but the criminal himself.
Yeah right. You don't defend criminals of course. So how come a drug dealer and fugitive like Buruji Kashamu got voted in to the Senate by you guys? How come you guys have to stage a party, complete with Asoebi, to welcome Chief Bode George from prison? How come an obviously crooked individual like Tinubu has so much influence on you guys? Just shut your mouth and stop being a hypocrite.

It's disappointing that a graduate of a good school like Texas A&M, an MBA for that matter, will take up fraud as a means of livelihood. I wonder how he got in. He probably got somebody to take the GMAT for him. Shame.

if a judge could be kidnapped, I wonder what an ordinary bloody civilian like me could do to defend myself.

I may consider acquiring a 'Smith And Wesson 500' in the nearest future and spiritually fortify myself.

seems this kidnapping of a thing is growing every now and then.

time to keep it 100 locked coming soon.
I don't think acquiring Smith and Wesson will help when it comes to challenging these kidnappers. They usually carry heavy weapons like AK 47.

You don't understand. Some people make millions of dollars from stagnant electricity by importing and selling generator set. Those in the oil industry make millions by selling petrol and diesel to those using the generators. These people are in government and wouldn't want to see their business crumble by improving light so they end up taking Nigerians on a ride.
That is why the government should ban the importation and use of generators for domestic purpose. If I were in charge, I will only allow use of generators in factories and hospitals.

Companies doing legitimate businesses are still importing through air and sea and are paying their import DUTIES. In fact, the Nigeria Customs are reporting getting higher revenues with the border closure.
The FG was actually not getting revenues from the land border smuggling.

Hahaha.Better feed your more than 100 million poor citizens then. And pray Ghana does not retaliates
Ghana retaliatehuh?? What would Ghana do? Nigeria does not need Ghana's tiny market. It's Ghana that needs Nigeria's huge market. Nigeria needs to be letting our small neighbors know who is boss.
By the way, Nigeria did not ban any Ghanaian products. It only closed its land border. You can continue to bring your products to Nigeria's huge market through air or sea legitimately.

Even an Area Commander is not immune to the kidnap crisis. And I believe he is probably one of those against State/Regional Police and restructuring.
The best solution to Nigeria's security problem is State or Regional Police. The best solution to Nigeria's economic problem is restructuring. If we can't restructure, then the country needs to break up so that some of us can move on and join the rest of the civilized world.
