Nominate who? This is a re-run in only one Local Government. Only Ekpeyong and Akpabio are eligible to contest.

Anyone who thinks Islam is against slavery is either ignorant or dishonest. Prophet Muhammad was a paedophile. Imagine if I got married to a six year old girl and had sex with her at the age of nine, there would be an outrage, the authorities would come for me, and my image would be irreversibly destroyed yet Prophet Muhammad is the man many, both educated and illiterate, look up to as a person worthy of emulation.
After reading about the life and times of Prophet Mohammed, I began to wonder why any responsible and educated human being would want to be a Muslim and worship Mohammed. The man was very immoral and a fraud.

This is sad. While I do not want to be aligned along religious lines, I have met and seen Muslims here in Nigeria who don't see anything wrong with enslaving women as well as sexual attraction to young and underage girls.

You will have to understand that these ideologies are enshrined in the Koran and these guys are just practicing what their Koran says (though there are quite a handful of "liberals" who do not wholeheartedly follow these laid down tenets in the Koran)
Even Mohammed, the founder of Islam, engaged in paedophilia. He married a 7yr old baby girl and started sleeping with her when she turned 9yrs. Islam is evil.

Falana needs to quit his fake news.

Buhari has no plan to run for a third term.

Does the Nigeria Constitution even allow that?
The rubber stamp National Assembly can change the Constitution to allow third term.

Should this government mull any third term agenda, be sure that it will get it as the current NASS will most likely not raise much objection.
If the bigot Buhari gets third term, he would definitely be ruling only the Hausa/Fulani people because Nigeria will disintegrate.

I need to be blunt with you since you asked for my advice

You are not wise at all.
Look at the reason you are giving, that you are not praying regularly

Praying to God is a test of humility. A great man once said, "if I want to humble a man, I ask him how long he prays"
It simply means you are full of pride and very disobedient wife. You are even considering your marketability when you eventually leaves his house.
If things continue like this let me tell you what will happen, he will definitely throw you out of his life, not only his house and he will get a better lady and live happily ever after and you may also get a another husband who will also throw you out after some time. Why? Simple. It is because you will display your rotten character.

My advice if you really want to make things work
Be humble to your husband, respect and obey him. It is not to much to pray even if it is 100times daily. Any woman that humbles herself and respect her husband especially if the man is Godly, will always find favour with him. In fact such men will go out of their ways to satisfy and make her happy but if you don't respect him forget about getting any dime from him.
You have wasted so much time, start the amendment today. Thank God he had not told his parent.

A word is enough for the wise
Here's a typical Nigerian.

Exactly. Osinbajo and the Presidency keep insisting that there is no rift between them. All we can do for now is to stay on the sidelines and be observing the silent war. They think we were all born yesterday.

It's a good development. It happens in advance countries so why should we be different. If a police officer stops you either on the road or the walkway (in US and Co) the first thing they ask is 'can I see your ID please?' They expect that you must carry an ID which will serve as your first way to defend yourself against mistaken identity and the only way to confirm that you're actually who you said you are.
Stop expressing your ignorance. Stopping people to check ID is supposed to be done by the Police, not the Army.

PoliticsRe: Ghana Begs Buhari To Open Closed Border by executive12: 12:00am On Nov 02, 2019
FemiMaduka:
The problems Nigeria has with poverty and inadequate infrastructure are corollaries of over-population and improper planning. China and India battled with it and are gradually getting the better part of it. Nigeria too will.

I hope you know Nigeria still produces more electricity than Ghana. In fact, we have for a long time been a major supplier of gas to your power stations, which you still owe Nigeria for.

We shouldn't drag this for too long. The economy of Ghana is just comparable to that of Lagos state in Nigeria.

I know Nigeria has to do much more in the areas of transparency, infrastructure and security, but please Ghana is not in our purview at all!

Your army is just the size of a lean division and there is no single main battle tank in its rank; your airforce has no single frontline fighter jet; your navy is armed with only small patrol boats and fast attack crafts, no frigates and corvettes.

Nigeria's revenue is in the region of $55bn, while yours is about $9bn. We have so much respect for Ghana, but I think your country is fast pulling more than it can carry. Your guys are in Nigeria doing their business without any form of restriction, but you people do not take a break from harassing our people in Ghana. Mr Datsomer Makafui was my teacher in the primary school. He, his parents and siblings lived in our community, enjoyed the privileges and NOBODY harassed them. In fact, his dad worked in the sugar factory on the estate. We do not have issues with Ghanaians, your people are the ones being so feisty.

It is way easier to have grips on a 30,000-strong crowd than to do same for a crowd of 200,000. This is basic knowledge.
Well said, thank you.

Of course it won’t affect Nigeria and its fast-growing economy. But I hope you won’t send a powerful delegation to Accra as you did the last time it happened. Fuckeduppedness
Those of you running your mouths here, supporting illegal mob action against Nigerians in your country are probably jobless. Otherwise, you would have realized that there are Ghanaians in Nigeria also doing business and doing well for themselves.
You should know that Nigerians can reciprocate your hostility. I don't think those Ghanaians will be happy to lose their business in Nigeria.

You should be worried about your country. Stop talking trash, huh? Ghana is doing fine and your people are arriving here in their thousands despite the “border closure “. How are these nigerians able to pass through a “closed border?”

Fuckeduppedness I can’t believe nigerians think not allowing a couple of Ghanaian trucks to enter their country will collapse the Ghanaian economy grin very foolish reasoning, if you ask me. By the time your generator-powered economy zooms into recession, na that time una eyes go clear grin
For your information, the border is not completely closed for travelers. It is open from 6am to 6pm, only for those traveling without goods for sale.

poverty can cause anything. "Hot plates or electric cookers are on the ban list of almost all Nigerian universities but over 90% of students use them. Not because they want to, but because there are no other cheaper alternatives. Either use them, or you stay hungry. Poverty can make people ignore rules and regulations and even safety laws sometimes. There was food being sold on board but they couldn't afford it. I remember those days when travelling to Lagos and we get to Ore in Ondo state. When people are buying good food, I will only buy banana and groundnut. grin grin grin because that was what I could afford by then. We shouldn't blame them, blame this excessive capitalism that makes not even the slightest provisions for the less privileged.
The banana and groundnuts you were buying then may be better food than the harmful carbohydrates others were loading up on.
