Fashion / Re: How To Dress To A Job Interview! by expensive007(m): 9:08pm On Nov 09, 2020 |
The place I currently work, I dressed to the interview in native attire, lo and behold, I landed the job, even after I refused to agree with the salary they proposed to me. If you're sure of yourself, all those rules on dressing this, dressing that to an interview might not be necessary, not even in this new normal era. Work on yourself, stay positive, believe in God, don't appear desperate and be value full, then the rest is simple. |

After the service he went and played Lotto and when the results came out, he won 13.000 million. Within the space of few minutes God changed a street boy to a millionaire. It's not luck! It's an act of the prophet. Shaking my head in 3D format for this man. Some people can be easily brainwashed though. |

I never wanted to comment on this post, but I took my time to read through virtually all the previous contributions of the contributors of the topic at hand, the responses of the OP, and here is my comment; @op, I must be Frank with you, there is a big danger ahead in your relationship with that lady. This is not to destroy your marital home, but this is a truth that must be told. PLEASE PROTECT YOUR DESTINY! This lady will show you her true self when she's fully in. To me o, My GOD 1st, My Parents, My Family, and anyone who defaults these is a 'goner'. RUN FOR YOUR LIFE! It's not too late for now there are still some well-trained, loving, good and obedient ladies with God fearing minds out there. Don't go ahead to Marry that lady and come back here to start posting stories that touch the heart. Anyone who does not love my family, such person does not love me, no matter how s/he frames it. I wish you all the best! 3 Likes |

Education / Aaua Management Reduces Reparation Fee To #15, 000 by expensive007(m): 8:01pm On May 09, 2016 |
#Today Makes It 30 Days of AAUA Closure# AAUA MANAGEMENT REDUCES REPARATION FEE TO #15, 000 Following the various agitations by the students of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA) over the N25, 000 reparation fee charged by the school management, parents, students’ unions and stakeholders in Ondo state have been pleading with the school management and the state government to reduce the reparation fee. However, in a recent press release from the AAUASU PRO, stated that the management has reduced the reparation fee to #15, 000. The PRO, in the press release urged AAUAites to wait for more updates from the management on how to go about the registration Meanwhile, some stakeholders on Adaba FM today on a weekly programme titled “ONDO PROJECT” sponsored by Victor Olabinto Initiative for Change and Emancipation, pleaded with the school management and the state government to reduce the fee to a bearable amount. The Secretary of the initiative, Mr. Festus Ajayi appealed to the school management and the state government to reduce the fee to a bearable amount like N2, 500. He said, even though the protest led by the students which led to the vandalization of the school’s property was not a good idea, but the management and the government should consider the present condition of the parents of the students who are predominately civil servants yet to receive some months salaries. However, the spokesperson for the initiative, Mr. Ayo Ogedengbe advised the parents to always caution their children to avoid any form of violence in school. He urged the students not to allow themselves to be used as an instrument of destruction. |

Computers / Microsoft Unveils Windows 10, Says Upgrade Is Free by expensive007(m): 12:33pm On Jan 22, 2015 |
Here’s some good news for Windows fans the world over. Microsoft will allow you to upgrade from Windows 7, Windows 8.1, or Windows Phone 8 for free to Windows 10. During today’s unveiling of Windows 10 for consumers, Terry Myerson executive vice president of Microsoft’s Operating Systems Group, revealed that the company will allow users of its most recent operating system, Windows 8.1, to upgrade free to its upcoming operating system in perpetuity. The 600-million-odd users of Windows 7 will have a year to take advantage of the full upgrade. The last time round, Microsoft charged $120 to upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 8 — one of the possible reasons the vast majority of Windows users declined to make the move. This marks a significant shift in how Microsoft views Windows, Myerson says. Windows is no longer a static operating system but a constantly evolving service. “The question of, ‘What version of Windows are you running?’ will no longer be a thing,” Myerson says. “Windows is a service. Users will always be up to date.” n the Live Stream, Microsoft also announced that Cortana, its artificial intelligence-powered personal assistant and competitor for Apple’s Siri and Google Now, is coming to desktop PCs and Microsoft’s new Spartan browser. Cortana will be able to answer questions, manage your schedule, send emails on your behalf, and much more, says Joe Belfiore, corporate vice president of the Operating Systems Group. “She’s like another member of the family, sitting around waiting to get things done,” says Belfiore. https://www.yahoo.com/tech/windows-10-takes-huge-strides-to-correct-108767403494.html

I'm sure GMB is taking a cue from this American Hero (politically speaking) Abraham Lincoln Didn't Quit Probably the greatest example of persistence is Abraham Lincoln. If you want to learn about somebody who didn't quit, look no further. Born into poverty, Lincoln was faced with defeat throughout his life. He lost eight elections, twice failed in business and suffered a nervous breakdown. He could have quit many times - but he didn't and because he didn't quit, he became one of the greatest presidents in the history of our country. Lincoln was a champion and he never gave up. Here is a sketch of Lincoln's road to the White House: 1816 His family was forced out of their home. He had to work to support them. 1818 His mother died. 1831 Failed in business. 1832 Ran for state legislature - lost. l832 Also lost his job - wanted to go to law school but couldn't get in. 1833 Borrowed some money from a friend to begin a business and by the end of the year he was bankrupt. He spent the next 17 years of his life paying off this debt. 1834 Ran for state legislature again - won. 1835 Was engaged to be married, sweetheart died and his heart was broken. 1836 Had a total nervous breakdown and was in bed for six months. 1838 Sought to become speaker of the state legislature - defeated. 1840 Sought to become elector - defeated. 1843 Ran for Congress - lost. 1846 Ran for Congress again - this time he won - went to Washington and did a good job. 1848 Ran for re-election to Congress - lost. 1849 Sought the job of land officer in his home state - rejected. 1854 Ran for Senate of the United States - lost. 1856 Sought the Vice-Presidential nomination at his party's national convention - get less than 100 votes. 1858 Ran for U.S. Senate again - again he lost. 1860 Elected president of the United States. |
