Police Arrest Woman For Killing Her Step Child

A woman, Mrs. Nnenna Egwuagu,29, has confessed how she poisoned her three-years-old stepson, Wisdom Egwuagu to death with insecticide(sniper)at Umulumgbe village in Udi Local Government Area of Enugu State.

The suspect who was arrested by the 9th Mile Police Division of Enugu State Police Command, has confessed her actions, adding that she purposely killed the boy because her husband refused to take care of her and their daughter.
According to her, she wanted the child to become sick so that her husband would spend money to treat him.

Enugu State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) ASP. Daniel Ndukwe, says the suspect allegedly administered noxious substance to her three-years-old stepson,Wisdom Egwuagu, thereby causing his sudden death.

The suspect has pleaded for mercy , begging her husband to drop the murder charge against her . Should her husband, a Christian, forgive her in the spirit of Easter.

EFCC Hands Over Recovered N67. 5m to Victim in Enugu

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Enugu Zone today April 15, 2021 restituted the sum of N67,523,000 (Sixty-seven Million, Five Hundred and Twenty Three Thousand Naira) to one Mr. Emmanuel Onyekachukwu Onah , a trader based in Onitsha, Anambra State.

Onah’s ordeal started sometime in 2019 when he transferred the sum of N75, 760,540.00 (Seventy-Five Million, Seven Hundred and Sixty Thousand, Five Hundred and Forty Naira), to the duo of Tega Esinone and Obiajulu Umeagukwu for onward transmission to his business partner, Crecedor Industrial Co. Ltd in Hong Kong.

The suspects converted the money to their own use. After efforts to recover his money from the suspects failed, Onah petitioned the EFCC.

The Commission in the course of investigating the scam, initiated a non-conviction based forfeiture process which culminated in a December 1, 2020 ruling by Justice I.N Buba of the Federal High Court, Enugu ordering the forfeiture of the sum of N67, 522,831.55(Sixty Seven Million, Five Hundred and Twenty Two Thousand, Eight Hundred and Thirty-one Naira Fifty-five kobo) in a new generation bank account belonging to Tega Esinone to the victim.

Presenting the cheques to the victim today, Oshodi Johnson, Head of the Enugu Office said the gesture demonstrates the Commission stance on justice for all. “EFCC is for everybody and all that the EFCC stands for is justice. We will continue to work within its mandate to ensure that Nigeria becomes a nation that is corrupt free. We will not rest until this is achieved.”

He warned fraudsters of the Commission’s readiness to fish them out anywhere they are, saying that it would be better they repent from their nefarious activities because it was only a matter of time before the long arms of law catches up with them.

In his remarks after receiving the cheques, Mr Onah expressed gratitude to the Commission for helping to recover his money. “Honestly, I am so overjoyed because today is a day of smile. I came to you people in tears but today my heart is full of joy and my face is full of smiles. I am now a living testimony that the EFCC works and they can bring justice even to the common man, ’he said.

Exactly the investment on the land is my major challenges.

Omo onile guy couldn't bring forth any papers other than the ones I alighted above.

Pls can u direct me on possible ways to confirm from Ogun state Housing Corporation if the land had been Returned without using a surveyor .

As I do not want to incurred any more expenses other than I have already done.

My friend says he told him I can't destroy the fence then if am not satisfy.

Of a truth no one came to challenge me throughout the fencing time and all.

You have to confirm from the appropriate authorities to know if the land was actually returned, and the necessary papers to prove it, don't dull this as you have already invested in the land.

Please I am in a serious mess right now, A friend of mine told me some land are available in his own domain few weeks back.

So I told him I am interested due to infrastructure in the Area he lived IDI Aba, Abeokuta.

So I ask him who owns the land he told me it belongs to his friend dad who is omo onile that they are very close I never doubted him because he was a good friend to me and also a landlord in that area.

Long story short I visited the land the first shown to me wasn't my spec so I ask if they got another

The omo onile said yes and took me to another, getting there I love it not too far from road.

We discussed about prices and I ask from a man who is the one using the land to farm what he can say about it .

He told me the omo onile are the owners of the land that the government gave it to them.

Well I paid after few days no much houses around it most houses there are uncompleted.

So I decided to do a four corner fence on it after corner piece.

When the fence building was going on the owners of uncompleted building around it came and congratulate me with smile and happiness that the place is growing.

But I noticed they told me they both bought theirs from Housing corporations, and they have their own allocation paper.

I said I never knew this place is an estate and I bought mine from omo onile.

He said he is aware the said land had been allocated to some one that I should ask the omo omile for the allocation papers and all.

We both smile and dined that day.

Immediately the following day I went to the omo onile and told him.what I heard .

He affirm that its true that they acquired the d via litigation back from government.

That he will bring me the papers the following week.

My mind was calm so I continued with my fencing.

Yesterday he brought two papers one a punch new paper dated back to 2015 when it was reported that some lands will returned back to some families.

The other was a computer type setting stating some.lands are not accusations has it had been return!

I told him Franky this is not a court litigation papers one which I was expecting him to bring.

Fellow pls if government returns land to family what documents will they give the families?

Also please if it went contrary to his claim what's the best way I can resolve this as my friend which took me to him says at worst he will give me another land whereas I spent more than 400k on the fencing.

Sir it won't be because of Ghana stamp maybe some other isssh like fake visa or fake Airport stamp

Cos no way you can read a border stamp except the stamp raises suspicion due to the way it was stamp.

Lol I have heard a lot of people that travel by road to Ghana and end up been banned by embassies for fake stamp especially UK some of them are still fighting to lift ban with prove it now

Some years back Nigerians are very Eligible I got about 5 of it for me and my family members.

Until it got bastardized and they removed Us from the Eligible countries.

So I am very surprised when some one comment above saying Nigerians can apply for Evisa.

We are no longer eligible pls be informed .

Yes to be honest fake stamps do exist note those fake stamps ain't stamp at border entry most of it are stamp at oluwole in Lagos.

But honestly there is no embassy that can detect the Genuine stamp cos it can't be read its not a machine readable stuff.

Hello friends. I’ve been having this thoughts on me that scares me so much. I want to travel to Ghana in order to disvirgin my passport in order to get a travel history. But my problem is that I use to hear that at the Ghanaian border they issue fake stamp sometimes. And this usually denies them visa to their desired country in future. Please how true is it? Because I’m not really sure. If it’s true do I just suspend the trip? Please I need advice.

Belize is a nice country few years back its easier because they have a company that handles their application aside from their consulate which allows you to submit via third party.

Now that has been cancel and all application will go through the embassy.

Just make sure u have a genuine invitation letter most case an education invitation for conference is better just can easily be gotten from online.

This been said package your application and submit at their consulate in Abuja.

Let me enlighten you guys about Bahamas visa.

Firstly Bahamas visa is granted by Bahamas high commission in the UK.

Its easy to secure just submit your application , 6months salary payslip,ID card, letter of introduction , letter of appointment, marriage certificate landed properties documents if Available and lastly bank statement of about 4Million Naira.

Courier it to consulate using DHL and pay you're fees using third party in the UK.

Do not send your application to Cuba as most Bahamas visa from Cuba are mostly fake.
