I just got two people to register now to apply for the M.Sc. - Both first class still looking for job. The portal is open

who else noticed the portal is open again? a friend that wasnt able to register just registered

PTDF Pays the university directly, and pays stipend to the beneficiary account, just like the last poster said, it is correct - although it is slightly higher for those based in London (UCL, Imperial College, Kings College) because of the cost of living in London

pls do PTDF (for MSc and PhD Oversea) pays the tuition fees directly to the schools Or pay the Beneficiaries to pay by themselves ....

pls i want to know , i was a beneficiary of the PTDF Undergraduate scholarship during my BSc program ......They usually send the cash to our bank account. ....then , we pay our tuition fees by ourselves.


I am just being curious, to know if we can save some little balance left from the tuition fee just like we did with the undergraduate category ....

e.g ...your UK MSc tuition fee is £18,000....and then PTDF sends you £20,000 ....and then , you have a balance of £2,000 left with you after paying the fees.

There is no PTDF scholarship you can apply for with OND, I will advise applying for Direct Entry in Nigerian universities first and then graduating with good grade

Is the course you mentioned among the PTDF sponsored courses? if it isnt then PTDF will not sponsor the course

I hope PTDF took cognizance of some transcontinental programs before they advertised for them, for instance, the Global Management of Natural Resources at UCL London, has 3 terms, with two terms to be spent in London, while the remaining 1 term will be spent @ the University of South Australia, Adelaide in Australia. So who futes the return ticket to & fro Australia?

the standard UK study visa comes with 20 hours work permit when school is in session, and when your program is complete one can work full time pending the visa expiry

For example Imperial College fees is £33,000 for Petroleum Engineering and the living stipend for London is about £14,000 on average, ptdf will also pay the visa fees and acquire flight ticket for travel to your selected school

there is no fixed price. however it covers tuition fees for whatever University (these range from £13000 up to £30,000 in UK for example) + feeding and living allowance, as well as flight and visa to your destination school

please resubmit after changing anything, truth is everytime you change the application, it will ask you to reselect the 3rd option school, so just do everything correctly and resubmit

I noticed a new development, those that have registered can still edit their applications, although I wouldnt recommend that,but those yet to register cant as the website now says "portal closed" for new registrants

Me i've submitted before the deadline, actually wanted edit my application to add stuff to my application but I have decided to leave it to be on the safer side

Honestly think its quite difficult applying for 4 roles especially if you want to put in a strong application, my advise is to apply for the 1 or 2 roles one is most qualified for and put in a strong application. Applied for both Procurement Analyst & Graduate Engineer, both under review.

No, PTDF cannot speak to DAAD on behalf of the selected candidates, beacause DAAD is the exchange service that PTDF engages to make the German scholarships possible - hence that is why PTDF instructed that candidates looking to select German Universities have to register on the DAAD service.

Eehmm, you didn't seem to get my point. I said that those who didn't complete their registration before the DAAD deadline were still given a chance when they were chosen for the Germany scholarship. True?

yes so long you eventually register before the DAAD deadline, then it is fine

Yes the flexisaf website still working, but I dont know if any new applicant is able to submit etc and dont want to risk with my already submitted application.

You know someone among them? you are sure it is october batch? could you ask them if they know the status of those who did the Nov. 22 interview?

Like seriously, if you see how surprised I am. Anyway I have a question. I submitted around 12.30 am for a friend that couldn't access his portal. The thing now is I tried editing his application after submission and the portal started misbehaving, loading and loading without going through. Do you think it will affect the application? The thing I wanted to add was very minute and can be negligible. But I'm concerned if the application is still submitted. Though, I checked the application tab and it still says application completed.
I want to leave it like that. What do you think?
