CrimeU.S. City To Pay ₦4.6Billion To Family Of Lady Murdered By Police by Explorers(op):
*. The financial payment is the largest amount the city has ever paid in relation to a police misconduct lawsuit.

*. The settlement also includes a series of police reforms, including that police commanders must approve all search warrants in advance.

The city of Louisville has agreed to pay Breonna Taylor's family a record-breaking $12 million in a wrongful death lawsuit as the slain black EMT's mother continued calls for the officers involved to be charged.

The settlement, which brings an end to the wrongful death lawsuit that Taylor's mother Tamika Palmer filed against the city and its police department back in April, is the largest amount the city has ever paid.

At a press conference on Tuesday announcing the settlement, Taylor's mother pushed for charges against the officers involved in the shooting.

He also gave more than $700million in gifts to health causes ranging from a $270million grant to improve public healthcare in Vietnam to a $176million gift to the Global Brain Health Institute at the University of California, San Francisco.

One of his final gifts was a $350million donation for Cornell to build a technology campus on New York City’s Roosevelt Island.

'Chuck was a cornerstone in terms of inspiration for the Giving Pledge,' Warren Buffett said.

'He's a model for us all. It's going to take me 12 years after my death to get done what he's doing within his lifetime.'

'Chuck created a path for other philanthropists to follow.

I remember meeting him before starting the Giving Pledge.

He told me we should encourage people not to give just 50 percent but as much as possible during their lifetime.

No one is a better example of that than Chuck.

Many people talk to me about how he inspired them. It is truly amazing,' Bill Gates said.

He kept aside $2million for his and his wife's retirement.

Billionaire fulfills lifelong dream - to die broke: Duty Free Shoppers co-founder Chuck Feeney, 89, gives his $8 billion fortune to charity - and says he is happier than ever (but has kept $2m for himself)

Former billionaire co-founder of airport retail giant Duty Free Shoppers has given away all of his massive wealth and is now broke, but insists he couldn't be happier.

Charles 'Chuck' Feeney, 89, raked in billions with the creation of Duty Free Shoppers with Robert Miller but wanted to die without any money.

The philanthropist was famous for his promise to give all his money away to charitable causes, a dream that was fulfilled this year in September after donating more than $8billion to charities, universities, and foundations through his organization Atlantic Philanthropies.

He gave $3.7billion to education, including nearly $1billion to his alma mater Cornell, more than $870million to human rights and social change including $62million in grants to abolish the death penalty in the US and $76million for grassroots campaigns supporting the passage of Obamacare, according to Forbes.

...taking a cursory look at this video, one should be able to decipher that, that AC isn't done because of the grave. looking at where he was buried, they did his grave side along with where probably his children and wife can discuss or take fresh air. if you can see, there are chairs there. Beside, he his not the first person to be buried in this manner, we have a lot of people.

Nothing really, Cali is naturally dry and windy which contributes to the quick spread.

TravelRe: Which Country Is Easy And Cheap For A Person To Go And Hustle? by Explorers(m):
nextstep:
People keep wanting to run away.

You're not seeing all these buildings popping up? All these cars being sold? Hotels being patronized? Food, farming, appliances, beauty, clothes, solar, real estate, furniture, entertainment, transport, logistics, banking, technology, and so much more.

These are not funded by yahoo. These are being done by hardworking Nigerians all around you.

Do we have issues? Yes, but I tell you, for every Nigerian who runs to another country, there's one who stayed and is reaping the benefits.
The money you want to raise to "travel abroad", and that will sustain you for 3-6 months while you find work... it can be put to better use.

But let me not stop you... the others who have gone and are hiding in the shadows, or begging for government assistance to bring them back home... they've gone and seen that abroad no be beans.
You're right bro. But what works for Mr A might not work for Mr. B

Sure, some are making it big in Nigeria, while some are not making it despite working very hard.

Some have nothing to show after 10-20years of stay in Europe/U.S., while some will travel/relocate and make it/achieve alot within 5years.

Not only by hardwork, but Luck and Grace.

Some are also relocating just to be far away from everything, seek a new beginning and be happy. Not just about making it to everyone.
