abysirius:Yeah, I support Tinubu on this one. Adults who where lucky to elected by the people behaving like children. Let the House members go and rest indefinitely. |
dontbothermuch:That Road cannot cross Ogun State. That is why it is wasteful. It will be abandoned soon. There was no map no feasibility. They just woke up one morning and started construction just to settle their sponsors. |
HydraFeeds:Don't say that. You cannot be around and someone takes your child from you and you say the person is powerful without giving him a fight. |
BIZNess123:Nothing is wrong with him. It is human to rethink. Not like Tinubu who refused to shift after seeing his policies turning the country upside down. |
epainos:Man, you are the one lying. You don't know what you are talking about. Most ATM still pay a maximum of 10,000. The the issue of 70% of the people living within their bank is a big lie. Not in a place like Lagos. I live at Ago palace way and my bank is at Airport Road. Going to Airport Road and back from Ago will cost you N1600. This is the case of most people in Lagos. Stop saying what you don't know. There a lots of people that there business is cash based. So don't use your situation as a case of comparison. Allow people to cry for their induced suffering and pain. Besides, Nigeria banks have been declaring billions in profits. They don't need to pauperize the citizens to achieve their aim. It is all about funding Tinubu campaign for 2027. |
SatoshiX:It is not about 20,000. If you want to collect 1,000, the ATm charge you the same. Besides it is 100 plus VAT. So the charge is 107. Also the maximum most ATM pay is 10,000. And there is no basis comparing POS with ATM. |
We have said it several times on this forum that bride price does not stop any one from marrying in Igbo land. Good if the inlaws say One million, no problem. Your own people will start negotiating from one Naira. Eating and drinking will be going on. No one is in a hurry. If they shift to Nine hundred thousand Naira, your people will shift to five Naira. At the end, when everyone is tired, they will settle for twenty thousand. Then your people will make some deposits, promising to pay the balance later and went home with their wife. Note that there is no balance to be paid. What ever they drop as the deposit is what they want to pay and cannot be rejected. Finally everyone will be happy. |
nurez305:I withdrew 2k yesterday and was charged N107. for it. Tinubu is not called T pain for nothing. The bank are already declaring billions in profits before now. I think now they would declare trillions and fund his 2o27 campaign while the masses continue to suffer. |
The OP is saying his biased religious beliefs and not the biblical teachingsSt Paul said in Romans That " a person is put right with God only through faith in Jesus and not by doing what the law commands" We are all sinners at any time. If you think that there are people without sin, you make yourself a lier. Again, the Bible says that " any one who calls on the name of Jesus shall be saved" No condition was attached. |
Enemyofpeace:You don't know how this kidnappers operate. That girl would poo and unirate on her body all the days she was with them. There is no time for such because their mission is dead at any time. They are very brutal and can kill at any time. You think they are in the jungle for enjoyment? |
Rexymania:Yes he can. You can ask well change Nigeria if you think you can. Believe in yourself self. |
Yes, one ex Senator from Akwa Ibom state said here last week that the 2025 budget presented by Tinubu was empty. He said that his team doesn't know what they are doing. He said that if the budget is not amended, that Tinubu will have no projects to campaign with or even to commission. Now Tinubu has put his arrogance aside and listening to the man's suggestions because of reelection. It is the same way that Nigerians are calling on him to review his policies but he refused to listen because of arrogance. When we say his one sided team doesn't know what they are doing, they say we are wailling. Imagine presenting and empty budget proposals to the National Assembly. |
DaddyCoool:Let God keep us alive to see how it goes. Everything will depend on how the opposition party will organize themselves . Tinubu will fight, he may win but it will not be easy for him as many people including you think. That's my point. |
Seunmuham:Like I said earlier, production is China, no one is disputing that. governance is as per your definition.America has been stable as long as we can remember. Their last election was very peaceful as well. I am not sure that China practice democracy. Then in terms of supply chain management, I don't think America is lacking. It all depends on the angle you are coming from. The truth is that American system and environment is completely different from China. So they cannot be compared. |
Funflipper:China is building what they need to maintain their huge population. American doesn't need that. You cannot say that the Chinese enjoys a high standard of living than the Americans that's what matters. America is greater and ahead of of China in many ways. |
DaddyCoool:Remember that in 2023, L P without any governor or LG chairman won 12 States. APC with all their structures and governors won 12 States as well. They even defeated APC in Lagos. Elections are like football, big teams don't win always. Also note that no one announces a winner in an empty space. It must be based on reports from the States. If the States and LG are blocked from rigging, there is nothing INEC will do at Abuja. |
maasoap:Not true. production wise, China leads but in technology, America lead by far. |
DaddyCoool:That's Buhari. He is very different from Tinubu. Buhari has cult followership. The effects of his rule was gradual. You didn't hear shout of hunger in the street. There was no protest. The North gave him 12 million votes. These are the things that would work in Buhari 's favour. You cannot say these things for Tinubu. The Yoruba land is where his fight will start because it will be 50/50. No block vote from South West. |
DaddyCoool:Are you saying that we should stop conducting an election when his tenure expires? |
DaddyCoool:That doesn't translate to automatic victory for Tinubu. GEJ appointed all these people during his tenure, yet he lost. The recent election in Ghana and in USA were won by the opposition. Tinubu will fight hard, but if the opposition can organize themselves, they can defeat him because Nigerians are tired of him. You should encourage people to participate rather than saying that Tinubu is bigger than Nigeria. |
DaddyCoool:Stop saying that. If Tinubu is God to you, that's your business. |
kunle4toyeyaho:I said above that if possible I will prefer an open debate with you, there I will proffer practical solutions if anyone is ready to listen. You asked where would the money to defend the Naira come from. But I told you above that the government pays more now in debt repayment and services, where is the extra funds coming from. By May 2023 at exchange rate of 500 per dollar, if the government wants to repay 1000 dollars, they will need N500,000. But today, with exchange rate at 1500 per dollar, if the government wants to repay 1000 dollars, they would need N1,500,000. So the question is where did the extra N1,000,000 come from? who is deceiving who? who is gaining. Can you now see the lies you people are supporting ignorantly? It is still the same deceit . Dangote has started his refinery long before Tinubu. So, it was not Tinubu policy that attracted it. The fathom investment you claim in oil sector is rubbish. If there are massive investments as you claim the people and the economy will feel the impact. Same thing with your claim of state government getting more when in reality the are spending more and struggling like most individuals to survive. All these propaganda will lead us to no where as a nation. Tinubu should accept his error and make amends. |
kunle4toyeyaho:Well, I wish you can engage me in an open debate with this your empty rehtorics. Just saying what the government wants you to see. First, PBat just killed the Nigeria economy. Subsidy removal is not the problem after all, other Nigerian presidents have increasing the price of fuel. Abacha increased fuel from 60 kobo to N11, Can you imagine the percentage, yet the economy didn't collapse. Floating the Naira cancelled out any benefits from subsidy removal and made it useless. it is like you saved N10 in subsidy removal but ended up in spending additional N100 in debt repayment. So where is the additional N100 coming from? This is the truth you people fail to realize. Floating the Naira made both the government and subsidy removal useless and helpless. The economy is supposed to be managed. The floating supposed to be managed. If Tinubu has advisers, He should have taken gradual steps in managing both the floating and the subsidy issues. A president is not suppose to be uttering policies anyhow like Tinubu is doing. And finally let me remind you that not everyone is dumb. If you think that this is the best Nigeria can get, you're wrong. One or two good policies can turn things around in Nigeria so don't close your mind. Give the other candidates the chance to say their mind |
NothingDoMe:It takes exceptional ability, empathy and strong institutions to turn Economic growth to Economic development. Nigeria lacks all these. Presidential jets, yatchs, escalade, renovation of official quarters are all signs of Economic growth. Many people said they are good. So that's it. Translating growth to development is not easy. |
kunle4toyeyaho:So PBAT doesn't need to listen to Nigerians and make amend to his policies. just dey play. |
NothingDoMe:It does. Economic growth is different from Economic development. In Nigeria, the government is celebrating increases in revenue to States and local government, increase in external reserves. These are Economic growth. They didn't translate to increase in people's welfare and standard of living which is Economic development. |
Mervingreat:Then why do you make that comment attacking Sowore when you don't know the issue at stake? If you don't care, we care because it is our country. So stop contributing to issues that you don't care about. |
wellmax:The error was that Sowore is saying that the IGP was due for retirement based on when he entered the police. But instead of retiring him , his tenure was extended through appointment as the IGP. Did the officer address that? that's was the error. Let him tell when did the IGP entered the police service and whether he is due for retirement or not. Let him address the tenure elongation issues. |
Mervingreat:You are wrong. Sowore is saying that the IGP is due to retirement based on the existing police and civil service rules. But instead of retiring him , you amend the rules and appoint him as the IGP. Is that right? I was expecting the op to tell us when did the IGP join the police and whether he is due for retirement or not. But he dodged it and was talking of the amended rules. Sowore is talking of tenure extension not amended rules. |
Anybody that is feigning ignorant of how WAEC , NECO and private schools conducts examinations in Nigeria is a hypocrite. There is no secret about it. Now there are many websites that displays the questions papers and the answers of WAEC and NECO exams days and hours before they are taken. There are open special centres everywhere the WAEC and the government are not doing anything about them.. ASUU also are complicit with their admission racketting. They have no moral ground to complain because they are part of the problem. |
festacman:You are very thoughtful. There are lots of things to do in the country to revive it. But one wonders why those in power are not doing anything. After submitting the tax bill, Tinubu went to sleep. Does it mean that other sectors are in perfect conditions that need no improvement. |
khalids:Are you saying we should be happy because of the 50% increase? Can you go to South Africa or any advanced country and increase prices in one swoop of 50 to 100%. It is the thing we are talking about. The government did it, you people supported it. Then every other person is doing it and you continue to support it. The question is, is that what happens in other countries. Is it right? |
