PoliticsRe: Peter Obi Is A Popular Politician - Kwankwaso by EXPRESSSMAN(m): 5:50pm On May 18
tunapawizzy:
In 2023
Bola Ahmed Tinubu (APC) — 8,794,726 votes
Atiku Abubakar (PDP) — 6,984,520 votes
Peter Obi (Labour Party) — 6,101,533 votes
Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso (NNPP) — 1,496,687 votes

Now going into 2027
Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, now weakened because the governor has decided to pitch his tent with Tinubu and some Kwankwasiya people will be with the governor. Verdict he still remains a local champion
Peter Obi, still popular in the states he won, sadly Tinubus people will rig him properly in Lagos, the governors in the south east will also reduce his win percentage. If Obi won SE states by 95% in 2023, expect that he will win by 80% in 2027
Atiku, he has lost a lot political structure nationwide as PDP have been factionalized and disintegrated into many parts. I see him polling a little bit lesser than he did in 2023. I am not sure he will get 25% in two-thirds of all states and FCT
Tinubu I think he will lose some ground in the North but I think he will make up for that with the governors that will rig for him all over SE SS(especially Rivers) and Lagos

Only Atiku/Obi ticket can threaten Tinubu presidency. You can abuse from today till eternity but the truth remains the truth
The way you people analyse this politics is very horrible and insulting. You said, "I think he will lose some ground in North", talking of Tinubu. You don't think that he will lose in Lagos and the South-West. That's a very myopic assessment. You think that he is ruling cows without a thinking mind. It looks like you are among those who operate from overseas. The question you will ask yourself is, why will a sane Nigerian in the South or North vote for Tinubu?
Tinubu may win only through rigging and vote buying. He has stashed billions of borrowed funds for his reelection. I can bet you any day that he cannot win Lagos and Abuja because observers will make rigging in these states very difficult. As usual, he will get his votes from Bornu, Zamfara and those troubled northern states that observers will be afraid to go. This is the major reason he is playing deaf and dumb over the insecurity in the North.

How does all of these releases help these folks in ADC.... Did INEC ever say they did not recognize Mark, all they have said is that the court has told them no longer to recognize him and as a responsible organization they have obeyed. The real question should be, under what circumstances did they even recognize him in the first place?

If anything, this affidavit even proves that INEC was even on their side, contrary to all the bogus claims that INEC was trying to muscle them out of the election.

Instead of them to go and beg the Bala Gombe and tell him that they now accept him as leader and find a way to move forward, considering how little time they now have, they are doing court of social media, like how will this reinstate the hijacker chairman as party leader is what me have been trying to understand since morning.

For those who do not know, INEC so far does not even recognize even the other guy, all INEC has said is sort out your issues and go back to the court and let us know the outcome and we will recognize whoever you guys agree on.
Twisting it to fit your narrative. The court said stop fighting further until we look into your matter. INEC said we will lock the house, nobody will live there until the court settles your case. ADC is saying, the court didn't ban us from entering our house , it only ordered us to cease fire. So in your Christian or Muslim minds, who is right?

Otitoju, live up to your name. Your principal should be speaking to the Press. He should be answering questions about his administration. He should be giving us updates. Tell your boss the truth. I have no business with Bwala and I have already written about it here. Even Otitoju cannot stand Arise for instance because on the TVC show, he dominates the conversation and the anchors don't want to offend their boss. They had to create a special show for him and he is always interrupting others. See I give Mehdi Hasan a gold medal. If he has also not been on the hot seat, I would have said this one na all these shouting journalists but Hasan has been on Piers Morgan, he has been on Jubilee show against 20 Conservatives for 1hr 40mins, he has been on various shows where his opponents don't like him and he can defend himself. Can you guys do that? You all want soft landing and always use age to cry victim. This is why I insist that the likes of Rufai have their nuisance value. You guys, if you can stand your own ground even in your enemies camp, na man you be. Anything else means you want soft landing and you are only paper tigers. This is a distraction, I didn't vote for Bwala.

Let us stop deflecting from the elephant in the room. Bwala is not to blame. Tinubu is the one who has questions to answers, not his ministers, not his aides, not his SAs, not his hired journalists. You guys were so ready to bash PDP then, and I think this was what made Jonathan to stop doing the presidential media chat because you were always ready to pick holes but look at you now. Guys, I want to ask you a question, if you are in a relationship with a girl for 8 years and she only speaks to you once or twice in that 8 years, do you know the direction of that relationship? That's how your relationship with APC is, they did this for 8 years. I can count the number of times Buhari talked about national issues and the direction the country and his administration was going. When Arise got to speak to him, they called the interview EXCLUSIVE o For your own President undecided

This was how they sold Buhari's silence to you for 8 years (they were trying to mystify him but you all saw the incompetence and the old man was dealing with his health) and if this continues, they will deify the Presidency for you Nigerians when the number 1 should be answering questions and be kept on his toes. Nigerians deserve to hear updates from their own President, not spokesperson. He should go to the enemies camp. Even Trump is bold enough to answer questions from the press as much as he doesn't like the Democrats or left leaning press. I have more words from Mark Carney, the Canadian leader from interviews, or speeches than I have heard from my own president. If I remember well, the Canadian guy came in after Tinubu so what are we talking about. Putin sef de do interview. Wetin be this. Is Mr Tinubu weak? Are you trying to sell cowardice and making it look like he is a god? What a shame APC

Good talk. You really understand the problem. I keep wondering why will a president not talk to the Nation. How come all of a sudden Tinubu became deft and dumb and a masquerade. No one knows when he's in the country or outside. Just playing hide and seek.

You can say whatever you like but one thing is certain, you can never take the credit from Tinubu in his role for lowering the price of fuel in Nigeria. If not for Tinubu, you would have been buying a litre of PMS for #2000 and above. If other refineries like BUA Refinery in Akwa Ibom State is completed, there will be more competition in the petroleum downstream sector, further pushing down the price of PMS. 😎
You people are very funny. What exactly did Tinubu did to bring the price of fuel down. Just name one. The price was N195 when Tinubu entered. He took it to N1200 with his unguided utterances. So what credit are you giving him. How did he do to lower the price he met at N195 or you just want to talk.

Seems you preferred the "make-up" economics of Emiefele which gave the naira a fake value compared to what it ought to have been. A naira which was often panelbeatted to give us an impression of a strong currency while it was rottening inside.
This current value of the naira is it's real value anywhere anytime, and with stronger macro economic activities within the country, it can become even more stronger
.
No matter how you hate a woman, you can't throw away her baby with the bathing water. You can say anything against Tinubu; but when it comes to monetary policies, I believe he is sincere about it.
You can believe what you like and I will also believe what I like. Before Tinubu, we were told that fuel import gulp 40% of our foreign exchange. Also labour union agreed that subsidy should be removed when there is local production of fuel.
When Tinubu came, Dangote is getting ready for production to take away these issues. We could not have felt the impact of the subsidy removal. Foreign exchange would have settled in favor of the Naira. But Tinubu was impatient and turned the economy upside in a moment.
If Tinubu had worked with Dangote, we should not be crying now. You should not have Naira at 1500 per dollar. The Naira should have settled at 500.
You are here saying that Tinubu is doing well , 1500 is the realistic value of the Naira. That's nonsense.

At the end of the day, the only measure of the success of the government is how well they influence the people's welfare.
Tinbu's team can't be suffering the people and be claiming good performance. It does not make any sense. If the crop of these CBN managers is wise, they should have studied what Emiefele was doing and why.

But they would rather turn the economy upside down and start patching it here and there. They are still defending the Naira, which was the major sin of Emiefele. I don't want to go further, but know I have good knowledge of economics and the management of the Nigerian economy.

I have said this before on this platform.

Apart from perhaps the huge survival error that Tinubu made by floating the naira during his office assumption speech, his economic team anchored by Cardoso and Tunde Edun has been very impressive and hightly commendable.

As earlier mentioned, I still believe that only OBJ has assembled perhaps a better team of technocrats with significant and quality achievements in their given portfolios.

Tinubu brought highly impressive stability to the economy that Buhari brutalized in terms of fuel pricing and FX rate.

However, the hyper-inflation that Tinubu initially created will take years even beyond his second term in office to reverse.
The house rents that have increased, cost of (living) goods and services in the system are not adjusting to the recent reduced price of FX and oil. Hence, the people are still not really feeling the effect.
Are you not contradicting yourself?

First things first, ambulances are used for transport of LIVING humans who are critical. It contains equipment and drugs to resuscitate and maintain this sick folks. It's also manned by critical care personnel and emergency physicians. Obviously dead folks wont need all these. If your god actually works, why does he need doctors? Why does your god need the help of medicine to work? How can he create science and medicine and hand it over to fallible humans like me who can make mistakes and accidentally k!ll patients? Why did he make the healthcare very costly that some of his believers can't afford it? What's easier, praying and getting healed immediately OR being treated by fallible humans after paying huge amounts of money, and spending time?
Also the doctors said to take him to other facilities. Its not their fault hospitals are poorly equipped.
We dont reject patients. We simply refer. That is a lie Nigerians post to discredit doctors. If I cannot handle a case,I simply refer u. Most times the patient doesn't go where we refer them. I live in lagos. There are critical care facilities both private and government. Obviously the privates cost more. My own hospital take a deposit of 3m for Intensive Care. So if you have the money,u pay and we admit. And this is not all u pay, this is initial deposit. U may end up spending 6 or 7m. And u actually believe there are better hospitals in Owerri than Lagos? Lol 😆
Again. If he was brought with kidney disease and hes stable,he can be managed at home. Many people have kidney disease and are being managed on outpatient basis. It's not miraculous
When u say alternative arrangement, what exactly do u mean? When we tell u we can't take a case, its usually cos of bed space or lack of amenities or personnel. I dont really know which of the reasons the hospital had but for either of them, there is absolutely nothing we can do. If u think there is,let me know.
Well, there are many things a doctor can do in such a situation, but first, let's understand this concept of God. God created human beings to be in absolute control of the earth. Just like Angels, demons and animals have their own domain. He created the medicine you are talking about. God sometimes, for his own purpose, intervenes in the affairs of man. Many doctors and scientists confirm this. So you don't ask why God didn't heal you. That's not a good question. I am not a religious person, but I believe in God and know that God intervenes in the affairs of man from time to time. It is not about religion. You don't need to go to church to know that God exist. Just look at your life and your environment. They will tell you that God exist.
And to your question, what I expect doctors to do under such a situation? Let me tell you it is not every aspect of medicine that involves giving drugs, injections or operations. The doctor's body language and handling of the situation in many cases, go a long way in the patient's healing and recovery.
When I was a kid, if they took us to a hospital, the doctor would check our tongue, mouth, nails and eyes before anything. But these days, when I took my children to the hospital, the doctor would be on his seat and only ask some questions and recommend a test. No physical touch on the child or examination. I used to feel very sad about their new method.
As I said before, it is only in Nigeria that a critically sick patient would be sent away because we value money more than human life. In other climes, they would have taken samples for examination, fluids and an assurance and message that the person is a human being and will get well. If you pass this kind of message through your action, the person will not die.

I am a doctor, not just any but with 18 years experience. Patients abuse ambulance
About the index case, why should a patient be transported from Lagos to Owerri? Why didn't they take him to critical care hospitals in Lagos? I dont understand this blood mixing with water BS. Yes the doctors in Owerri were right in referring him cos there's nothing. So he was rejected cos of no bed space which is not the doctors fault. I wonder how u managed to blame doctors for that. We dont build, equipment or staff hospitals. Also i told you that the best options for some cases is immediate referral and not every case deserves a 'first aid'. This is one of them
And how does a god come in here? What did the god do?
You are asking how did God came in.. Some one that the doctors recommended to be transported in an ambulance because they believe that he could not survive the next one hour. But he lived to get to Owerri. Then at Owerri, he could not get any help again. He was abandoned in an unconscious state for 3 days before the hospital sent for him. Now you think that his survival was ordinary.
Meanwhile , the hospitals in Lagos kept rejecting him. That was why his people say that they should bring him to Owerri.
His survival was not a small matter, it was not kidney related but he went through dialysis for some months.
Now apart from Nigeria , do you think that a patient like that would be brought to the hospital in any country and they told them to take him back.
It could only happen in Nigeria.
Now you're defending the doctors saying they are not the one to provide bed and equipment.
What happens to making some alternative arrangements for his treatment until such a time a bed space would come out. What about doing some diagnostics for his case. Is 3 days not enough for someone in such situation to die. And from all the things that happened, you don't think that his survival for a great miracle.
HealthRe: FMC Abuja Reacts To Death Of Ifunanya Nwangene by EXPRESSSMAN(m): 8:45am On Feb 16

U forgot or neglected to say the most important information....the diagnosis. What did the man have? They sent him home because he probably had a mild illness,so its not an emergency. Just because they brought him in an ambulance doesn't automatically translate to an emergency. If he had a serious life threatening case, they would have at least sent him to another hospital. The fact he was still alive days later without any intervention means he wasn't that sick.
I want to expunge this ihnora nce amongst NL that 'first aid' must be administered to every emergency case. Sometimes if a hospital is resource poor, either personnel, equipment or meds, the patient is best sent somewhere where he can receive attention. Lemme give example. A man comes with a road traffic accident and is unconscious and has fluid or blood coming out from his ear or nose. He most likely has a raised ICP from head injury. If a center doesn't have mannitol, the best thing is send that patient on his way to get a brain CT (non contrast) so as to commence management straight away. Keeping him in that resource poor center is counter productive. Hope this helps
Hmmm, my guy, N200k was used to charter an Ambulance and you said it could be mild sickness. When did we start to use Ambulances for mild sickness?
Anyway, the guy was rejected by other hospitals. It was an inter state movement. The doctors believe that the guy will die on the way so they recommend that he should be transported in an Ambulance. It was from Lagos to Owerri. When they got to Owerri and discovered that he was still alive, they took him to FMC Owerri. That's when the incident happened.

He developed the sickness suddenly. They said that his blood mixed with water in his body. That's the sickness. He was paralyzed and unconscious for days . That was his condition when the hospital turned him away. They could not go to another because they have been previously been rejected by others. But to God's glory the guy is full of life as at today.

We dont wear ward coats during such actions to prevent detection. Of course the media won't let u know that. It's against the anti-doctor propaganda they have.
Well, I heard you. Anything that happens in a hospital is attributed to doctors.
A friend of mine was taken to FMC in an ambulance because of the seriousness of his condition. They told the people that they should take him home because there was no space. No First aid, no treatment for someone in such situation. He was taken home by the same ambulance and abandoned to his fate.
Then 3 days after, the hospital sent them to bring him. He recover fully after treatment by the same hospital.
Can you imagine that.

Believe me, Nigerian doctors in government hospitals are not trying at all. Their attitude towards the patients is not good. They can abandon a patient in the middle of an operation when they hear go on strike.
But we are blaming the government for the rut in the hospitals and not the doctors. But the doctors need to put humanity in their services.
HealthRe: FMC Abuja Reacts To Death Of Ifunanya Nwangene by EXPRESSSMAN(m): 11:28pm On Feb 01
All these medical jargons is to save their face. Government owned hospitals in Nigeria don't care. This is for those who don't use these hospitals. If you go to Luth in Lagos and see how accidents victims are packed on bare floors, then, you will understand that there is no hope for emergency situations in Nigeria.
Meanwhile, the author of this information should have reserved his medical terminology for his fellow doctors and write what the agitated public should understand. This is how to communicate.

The Bible is silent on many issues, but it is very bold and clear on the issue of molten and carved images. It first say don't make it. Then second it says don't worship it. So why make it in the first place in disregard to biblical injunction.
The emphasis was very clear, don't make the likeness of anything in heaven above or on earth below.
As a Catholic, I don't see anyway those images helped me in spiritual growth and development. So I have to leave that church for those that love images.
As soon as Father Tansi was beatified, our church then went and mould an image of him and placed it on the center of the altar. And in Catholic traditions, anyone passing through the altar bows, so with that image directly on the altar, whom are they bowing to? . The God you claim to worship say don't make it. You said I made it for rememberance.
Like I said, I have left the church for you people although it was my parent's church. I still like some things about the church but I cannot stand on those images after reading the Bible.
