Cleveland born rapper, Da Baby has said he will be voting in Kanye West in the 2020 United States presidential election.

Ye made his presidential intentions via Twitter on the fourth of July 2020 when he made a post with the United States flag.

"We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for the president of the United States #2020VISION."

The rapper got support from technological entrepreneur, Elon Musk.

Ye has had a lot of hitches on his way during his campaign from family issues where his wife Kim Kardashian spoke on his mental health.

There were also rumors that stated he was dropping out of the presidential race, which doesn't seem to be so since he has picked his running mate.

Da Baby showed his support for the Chicago rapper on Twitter when he said;

"Ima let y'all finish...But you got me bleeped up you think I ain't going for Ye."

Another person who has shown his support for Ye is Nick Cannon who believes the country needs another black rapper.

"Why not, we need another black man in office."  

Kanye currently has another issue stating that he may be under an Election Fraud investigation for faulty signatures.

According to Forbes, the top ten highest paid actors managed to make a combined total of $545.5 m (£417m) in 2020.

Due to the outbreak of the corona virus, movies had their release date pushed back, but it didn't seem to stop these men.

Here are the few who made the list;

The Rock $87m

Dwayne Johnson tops the list for the second year in a row earning $87m.

It is reported that the WWE superstar was offered $23.5m for his role in Red Notice.

Ryan Reynolds $71.5m

Ye's ballot had been declared ineligible due to faulty signatures in two states and this could cause some severe aftermath.

The rapper was sued by an anonymous woman on the charges of rape.

According to TMZ, the lady claims the alleged rape happened at a party back in June.

According to her, Takeoff had offered her marijuana which she had refused before later getting into an argument with Durel.

According to TMZ, Kanye picked Wyoming-based biblical life coach Michelle Tidball to run with him as he listed her on the ballot box in Arkansas.

The Nollywood industry is definitely the biggest movie industry in Africa and one of the biggest around the world.
Nigerian movies have gone on to produce some of the best actors Africa will be known for. Many have acted and gone to direct and produce their own piece that have caught the eye of the world.

So certainly in the entertainment industry, we are the giants of Africa but there are now a few loop holes.
I've done a lot of study and I have asked questions regarding the Nigerian movie industry and I came up with a few facts.

In this country, there are diverse people and choices regarding movies in general, There are;

Those who'd watch only a foreign movie
Those who watch foreign movies and watch Nigerian movies just to kill time
Those who watch Nigerian movies

Among these three sets of movie watchers, we can still narrow it down a little more;

Foreign movie viewers have close to 5 sets: Hollywood, Bollywood, Telemundo, Televista etc.
Those who watch Nigerian movies just to kill time pay little or no attention.
Those who just watch Nigerian movies out of love.

Nigeria has great movie and Film broadcasters and platforms e.g Iroko TV, WAP TV etc but what is going on?

With what I've found while doing that study, we can deduce that the problems are;

Lack Of Originality:

Many of our movies look way too fictional than The Avengers or the Justice League.

It simply means that if whatever happens in the movie is brought into the natural world, it doesn't make any sense.

Trying Too Hard:

Action movies are very enticing but when you try what you aren't good at when you aren't ready, you end up producing utter garbage e.g Shina Rambo and many more.

Poor Casting:

There are a lot of talented actors in Nigeria and yet the settle for the worst? Well that's a bust.

This is the reason why you have an understudy who'd fill in for a bad cast but no not in Nigeria.

Our Child Casts Aren't Ready:

Believe it or not, most of our child characters are not really prepared by producers before they are handed a role.

I know they are kids but come on man!

Poor Screenwriters:

How do you feel watching a movie where you can tell the end immediately. I am supposed to predict the end, not tell it.

Due to poor screenwriting, there are many unnecessary scenes that end up messing the storyline.


I am not here to troll the Nigerian movie industry but to state the slacks that everyone with a great love for movies will notice.

If we could correct even just one of these things, the industry will see some change even if it's not a big one.

Nicki Minaj's husband, Kenneth Petty has requested that the court grants him permission to witness the birth of his first child.

The Trinidad and Tobago born rapper ended speculations of her pregnancy when she posted a picture showing her baby bump.

According to XXL Magazine, Petty filed a document, pleading that the court adjust his conditions to allow him be present for his child's birth.

But, he was told that he may be prohibited from visiting the birth if it falls in his curfew hours.

Petty's attorney, Meghan Blanco stated that neither the U.S District Attorney nor the pretrial services office oppose the request.

American rapper, 50 Cent has apologized to female rapper Megan Thee Stallion after a meme regarding her shooting.

It was reported that Megan Thee Stallion had suffered a gunshot wound on the night of rapper Tory Lanez arrest.

The Canadian was arrested for having a concealed weapon and now is facing a petition to be deported after shooting the BET award winning rapper.

50 Cent had posted a meme using Megan's head in the 1991 movie Boyz N The Hood as the character Ricky who got shot running away.

He went on to respond to the comments she made earlier about losing both of her parents and not getting over it;

"Imagine being 25 and you don't have both of your parents, my mama was my best friend and I'm still not over that.

The New York born rapper apologized stating that he didn't think it was real and never intended to hurt her.

Deport Tory Lanez is the petition going on right now following the rappers shooting incident involving Megan Thee Stallion.

The Canadian rapper was arrested earlier in the month for possession of concealed weapon, in the process Megan took a bullet wound.

And right now, a lot of people aren't really feeling the Canadian after that incident.

According to change.org, a petition was filed for his deportation two weeks ago but gained more attention on the internet as at July 27, 2020.

The campaign initially required 15,000 signatures but now it is already at 25,000.

"Furthermore, he should be banned from the United States FOREVER, for intentionally trying to harm Megan Thee Stallion.

The petition is addressed to the Department of Homeland Security.

This led the host of the Joe Budden Podcast to say a couple of things regarding the Maryland born rapper's retirement which were kind of sassy.

Every member of the podcast have had their fair share of expressing their own opinion on Logic's music and his decade-long career.

Rapper Joe Budden has apologized to fellow rapper Logic after his rants following Logic's retirement.

The 30 year old, had announced his retirement with his next album saying he wanted to be able to spend some more time with his family.

This led the host of the Joe Budden Podcast to say a couple of things regarding the Maryland born rapper's retirement which were kind of sassy.

"They happy that he's leaving. Why the Bleep do you think I got the fucking celebration song queued up man?

"Let's celebrate Logic getting the Bleep outta here nigga. You should've retired a long time ago, Logic."

Every member of the podcast have had their fair share of expressing their own opinion on Logic's music and his decade-long career.

But with all of Budden's backlash and calling him the worst rapper of all time, Logic has never responded or paid attention to it.

On Thursday, 23 July, 2020, Budden actually apologized for mocking his retirement from the hip hop scene.

"Logic, I'm sorry man. Log let me tell you what happened...Log last week I came in here feeling pretty tumultuous.

"Fresh out of Twitter jail, unable to properly read the room and just hating myself and life, honestly.

"And unfortunately, I projected some of that unto you, Log. And, for that, I want to apologize."

Budden goes on to mention and acknowledge the fact that Logic had retired without any trouble.

"That was wrong of me. I should be able to think that you aren't the best rapper in the world, but celebrate your retirement.

"Because that is a time where somebody should be happy and look back on their career and get they shit off and be with their fans.

"Nobody wants to hear from this fucking old grumpy Bleep saying,'Bleep you and shut up.' Especially after that guy was allowed to retire peacefully. I felt bad."

Logic since announcing his retirement went on to sign a million dollar deal with Twitch.

There has been a lot going on in the Kardashian/West home following a rant on Twitter and Kanye West apologizes.

Yeezy had admitted to getting a divorce with his reality star wife Kim Kardashian after a prison reform Meek Mill visit.

Other than that, Ye had made a lot of statements that were deemed controversial and a little bit concerning.

But the billionaire rapper's wife had come out to blame all of his rants on his mental status at the time where in her statement she said;

"As many of you may know, Kanye has bipolar disorder.

"Anyone who has this or has a loved one in their life who does, knows how incredibly complicated and painful it is to understand."

Although, the rapper has come out to apologize to his wife for putting their relationship problems outside.

On Saturday, July 25, 2020, Ye took to Twitter to publicly give his apology to the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star;

"I would like to apologize to my wife Kim for going public with something that was a private matter.

"I did not cover her like she has covered me. To Kim I want to say I know I hurt you. Please forgive me. Thank you for always being there for me."

We only hope that all is forgiven though.

The next on the franchise is titled 'No Time To Die' which will be released in November and now we wonder who would be the 'Next James Bond.'

Daniel Craig stated that he'd be retiring from the franchise, making him the longest serving 007 agent in history.

It is no news that one day Craig was definitely going to drop the role and now there is a search for a prospect.

As the Englishman is preparing to drop the role, it is really interesting as to who will come up to reprise the role as 007.

There had been a particular time where rumor had spread stating that fellow English actor was leading for the role.

But as it stands, two men may have taken the spot with James Norton leading ahead of Sam Heughan.

James Norton has starred in numerous film and television series including Happy Valley, War And Peace and McMafia.

He had also received awards for Best Supporting Actor in the Crime Thriller Awards, Man Of The Year in The Glamour Awards and others.

Sam Heughan has also been in great movies including Bloodshot, The Spy Who Dumped Me and Where The Starlight Ends.

The Scottish actor has also starred in Outlander bagging two awards for Best Actor and Favorite British Artist.

It is sure and definite that they both fit the role but who would get it though we'll just  have to see.

Currently James Norton's betting favorite at 6/4 edges Heughan who's at 3/1.

[center] The Birds of Prey sequel has been cancelled according to reports because of the poor performance of the first film.

A lot of movies have been put on hold due to the outbreak of the corona virus, and a lot of theaters have been closed all over the world.

Now though, it seems a lot of countries have eased up on the lock-down.

The first Birds of Prey performed so poorly unlike another movie that was also released at the same time Sonic the Hedgehog.

Both movies are two of those that were privileged to be released during the COVID-19 period.

Despite some love for the movie, the Harley Quinn movie didn't really perform well on the market, making just $200 million on ticket sales.

This has got to be the worst in the DCEU.

Apparently, as it stands Warner Bros may have lost faith in its creative team and have decided to discard a second one.
