One of my best TV series that year, will have to search for it on Netflix this night.

I just re-watched it from 1 - 5

Probably one of the best teen drama in the history on Teen dramas, the 90210 cast contains some of the best people to graze the show's remake.
The show ran September 2008 to May 2013, 5 years of love, romance, fighting, produced by CBS Television Studios.
Just like its first installment 'Beverly Hills 90210', the story follows rich kids and their life while they attend Beverly Hills High School in Carlifornia.
As the show goes on, telling their story after they graduated and now have to face life after High School, some face career, others face furthering their education.
For those who haven't seen the show, the original story was about the Wilson family as they move from Kansas to Beverly Hills.
But as the show goes on, the stories of other characters started to creep in with the addition of Erin Silver, Navid Shirazi's father's business and more.
If you don't know who Erin Silver is, she is the half-sister to Kelly Taylor and David Silver from the original series.
Some characters from the start of the show didn't continue after season two e.g Rob Estes, Dustin Milligan, Jessica Walter.
The show then introduced Matt Lanter, Trevor Donovan and Gillian Zinser.

Michael Steger

Michael Steger portrays Navid Shirazi, the son of the biggest pornography producer in the world who owns Shirazi Studios.

Matt Lanter's role as Liam Court was a young dude who could get any girl he wanted by doing basically nothing.

He has since been in movies like Star Wars: The Force Awakens and also TV shows like Timeless.

Do you notice that some actors tend to play their real life personality even in movies? How?
Actors always capture our attentions when they play that character we love or the character we imagine them playing.
It's always cool to see actors take a different identity we may love but sometimes, we just want to see them been them.
Every human has an alter ego, a different persona. While there are some who are different onscreen and off-screen, there are those who are the same any time and day.
Sometimes playing a character that relates to you is actually easier for you.
Wanna see these actors who are the same on and off-screen? Continue reading to know them;

Samuel L. Jackson

Both on and off screen, Samuel L. Jackson is known for calling things as they are, he is not one to give in to bulls**t.
In movies, everyone loves Samuel L. Jackson, they'd pay to see him.

Ryan Reynolds

The Deadpool actor is one of the best when it comes to action movies but also we can always expect comedy to tag along.
Even Ryan's wife Blake Lively testifies that it is never dull having him around.
Reynolds has been seen a lot on red carpets always been chill and everyone around him laughs hysterically.
So you can say his comedic side comes from how he is on normal grounds.

Bruce Willis

Well, he does appear to be a man who is always pretty much annoyed with everything, although we never can tell.
But, we do know that he is a man of few words. In movies, Bruce doesn't seem to be the type of person that would love to memorize a lot of lines.
He has turned out to be one of the best actors there is.

Will Smith

Will Smith is charming, and is known for not taking praise to himself but rather compliment the next man.
In some movies, Will may seem to be arrogant but he always has his charisma and kindness seem to rub off in his characters.

The Rock

The Rock, also known as Dwayne Johnson is definitely a household name in the world of movies.
Before been an actor, The Rock was already a WWE superstar and was known for his microphone skills, great and funny.
In his movies, he will always want to match his comedic side and his action side especially when paired with Kevin Hart.
Outside of the screens, The Rock remains the same big muscular and funny guy.

Kevin Hart

It would be funny to see comedian, Kevin Hart having a different personality on and off screen.
Kevin is definitely one of the best comedian to ever grace the stage, and now one of the best comedic actors.
Outside of been an actor and comedian, Kevin Hart remains Kevin Hart.

Morgan Freeman

Morgan Freeman, who doesn't love the man who talks like he is adding morals to your well being? I know I do.
Whether it be in the movies or in real life, Morgan is always funny, kind and full of style.

Robert Downey Jr.

Robert Downey Jr. is charming, cocky, reckless, and he is definitely a motor mouth as you can see on Iron man and Sherlock Holmes.
These characters both appear in his movies and his real life. As quickly as he makes friends so he rejects them.

Adam Sandler

Adam Sandler is not one to be moved by fame and riches although in his quote, he said;
"My name is Adam Sandler. I'm not particularly talented. I'm not particularly good-looking. And yet I'm a multi-millionaire."
On and off-screen, Adam just wants to make people laugh and he is contented with the life he has.

These are some of the actors that tend to play their real life personality.

Is there anyone we missed?

=https://the96illusion.com/2020/07/21/actors-who-basically-play-their-real-life-personality/

A lot of people including myself do try not to believe in superstition, but there are somethings that have happened that we can't get out of our minds.
Celebrities, especially musicians tend to live the craziest lives and many never live to be 30. Lately, some didn't get to 20.
Thinking about death is a scaring thing but some musicians tend to poke the beast when we look into this particular subject matter.
Many musicians have written songs, and in away or two predicted their own end which is some what weirdly accurate.
Coincidence? Let that be your decision to make because these are some musicians that predicted their deaths;

Tupac Shakur

Tupac Shakur is definitely one of the greatest rappers to have ever graced the music scene.
The New York born rapper has always been observant, understanding the society and culture and everything going on around him.
During an interview, Tupac had said in a best-case scenario, he'd end up in a cemetery or cremated. He had always expressed sincerity of an early death.
In 1996, he made a music video for his song 'I Ain't Mad at Cha', depicting him in the afterlife speaking to his loved ones.
Tupac was assassinated on 13th September 1996.

Left Eye

Left Eye born Lisa Lopez was in Honduras for a recovery sabbatical where the vehicle she was in collided with a young boy.
Although she was just a passenger, she still paid for the hospital and funeral.
Finding out that the boy's last name was Lopes, she believed a spirit was following her and meant to kill her and not the boy.
While still in Honduras, the car she was riding in swerved off the road and crashed, she didn't survive.

John Lennon

John Lennon had always told his secretary Freda Kelly that he'd never make it to 40, although he got to 40 but not 41.
The Beatles member once told reporters that he and his fellow musicians would either die in a plane crash or get shot by a loony.
In 1980, Lennon was assassinated which really wouldn't shock Johnny.

Michael Jackson

The King of Pop was generally believed to have died from an overdose of Propofol administered by Conrad Murray.
But, his daughter, Paris Jackson is one of many who does not believe his death was by accident.
In his last days though, he sent letters to his closest friends claiming he was going to be murdered, and that he is scared for his life.

XXXTentacion

Born Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy, X had always wanted kids to get and spread his message.
In October of 2016, X was arrested for severely beating and strangling his girlfriend and locked her up for two days because she was pregnant.
He posted a video in 2018 when he talked about him not seeing out his dreams and dying in a tragic way.
On June 2018. XXXTentacion was shot in what the Police believed to be a drive-by.

Proof

Two years prior to Proof's death, the D12 rapper had rapped about been murdered in a club.
In the song on the album D12 World, he said "I'm in the club to beef, you gotta murder me there."
Also, on Eminem's music video for "Like Toy Soldiers," Proof played the role of the deceased D12 member, Bugz.
Coincidentally, Proof was murdered in a club after an argument.

Is there anyone we left out?

Anyways, Kanye had hired an election strategist, Steve Kramer to get his name on the ballot in Florida and South Carolina has now said he is stepping down.
Kramer said the bid was serious and people were on ground working in Florida before it was called off.
The strategist didn't give specific reasons as to why the rapper had bowed out and Kanye hasn't spoken publicly on whether he'll continue.

In his statements, Kramer said;
"I'll let you know what I know once I get all our stuff canceled. We had over 180 people out there today.
"I have nothing good or bad to say about Kanye.
"Everyone has their personal decision about why they make decisions. Running for President has to be one of the hardest things for someone to actually contemplate at that level."

He also said West wanted to get his name on the ballot as a third-party candidate to challenge President Donald Trump.
Kramer also explained that Kanye 132,781 signatures by July 15 to appear on the ballot.

Nigerian suspected fraudster, Ramon Abbas popularly known as Hushpuppi has had his request for bail denied by the United States.
Ramon's lawyer, Gal Pissetzky had earlier made claims saying that the FBI had kidnapped his client from Dubai to USA.
He also claimed that Ramon ran a legitimate business seeing him earn as an Instagram celebrity to pay for his $10,000 flat in Dubai.
Pissetzky had applied for his client to leave with an electronic tag but had his proposition opposed by the US prosecutors.
His lawyer had intended for him to go live with his uncle but the prosecutors believe he can commit a crime with just a smartphone and internet connection.

To them, Hushpuppi poses as a flight risk.

In response to the prosecutors claims, Pissetzky stated that the Nigerian had a lot to lose if he flees the country.

"He is loved, respected and he is a celebrity.
"I don't see the reason why he would want to ruin his credibility in the world and his status rather than stay here and face this allegation.
"Anywhere he goes, people will know.
"Having grown up very poor in Nigeria, Mr. Abbas is now paid to pose with high-priced items like Louis Vuitton bags that people would buy after seeing his posts on Instagram.
"He is an influencer. That's a job today, as much as it is hard to imagine, this is actually a full time job."

Movies are about story telling or that's what they were supposed to be about but there is one basic problem "Movie Stereotypes."

It is funny that in this day and age, a lot film makers still lean on the wrong part of representing a particular culture,
In one of our previous posts, we talked about how war movies can help the world in their relationship with people of other races.
Before addressing the part of being represented wrongly, we can truly say that whether innocent or not, these acts can seem racial.

You may say No! but if we view in context, it is.
Racial stereotypes have existed for a long time because of one thing "Colonialism".
More also, many roles that are expected for non-white actors are being played by white people because in essence, Hollywood is for the white-man.
And also, racial bias.

Racial Representation

In a statement, Scarlett Johansson talked about representation in the art;

"You know, as an actor, I should be able to play any person, or any tree, or any animal, because that's my job and the requirements of my job."

She then went on to clarify her statement since she was under fire for her words;

"I personally feel that, in an ideal world, any actor should be able to play any body and art, in all forms, should be immune to political correctness.
"That is the point I was making, albeit didn't come across that way."

The Daily Show host, Trevor Noah made a reference to her movie Ghost In The Shell when he talked about her been under fire for her roles.
Trevor then later explained the concept and how it affects the minority races of the world;

"We take for granted how much representation means to human beings, I think in two ways.
"One: in an inspirational front, and two: just how it shapes society."

What Is Wrong?

In essence, Trevor explained that character depiction tend to affect how the world sees races of the world for example;

Black people are often depicted as either criminals, maids, slaves or having poverty stricken mother.
Latinos are defined by their sex appeal or as drug dealers.
Germans are still defined as Nazis
Asians are depicted as either nerdy, bad drivers, saboteurs, convenience store owners or refugees.
Muslims are used to portray terrorists.
And do not even get me started on Russians.

Character representation goes a long way to affect the image of a race and should be taken with caution.
I wouldn't want to talk about the LGBTQ community because that is not my focus topic right now.
Now races should be respected and treated with caution to avoid racial abuses from the outside world.
