Woe unto the inhabitants of IMO for Rochas Okorocha of all men is your Governor. We warned the people of IMO in 2015 but they preferred to play politics of petty sentiments. Now they should enjoy the 'Rochas they know'. No chief executive can fix such imposition without an enabling legislation from the state house of assembly. So this act is null and void ab initio. The IMO state house of assembly is the most useless and most redundant in the history of legislative business. I have began a campaign that none of them in that assembly be returned in 2019. Still consulting and as an election year draws near,it will be more vigorous. They have all failed as Rochas runs around like a mad dog without any checks and balance |
I watched a video clip in hausa that has hone viral in the north. The man was asked who he voted for and he said it was Buhari. The journalist asked him why he voted Buhari and he replied 'I voted Buhari out of wickedness'. The old man went further to explain. That he knew how people suffered under Buhari in 1983-85 and he kept warning the young people in his community but they wouldn't listen so he decided to join them to vote Buhari so that they will suffer for their foolishness. That he voted Buhari to ensure that their youths see for themselves what he was warning them against. And today they are seeing it and regretting. Buhari and Apc is what happens when God is angry with Nigeria |
Nigerians that voted for APC at the federal level are not even feeling the federal presence. Edo people are smarter now. |
If I was invited by the president himself for a meeting and in the course of the meeting I realize that the objective is to see to his re-election ,I will stand up and say thus: 'Your excellency,I appreciate the confidence reposed in me. I have worked so hard over the years to achieve the reputation which you seek to use now. I have never failed in any project I undertake and I don't want to start with this. Hence,I humbly decline your offer. Thank you and God bless in your future endeavours.' ...no need getting involved in a sure to fail venture |
I don't why am not feeling sympathy for the scorned Lady here. As much as I try,I don't. First of all, birds of a feather flock together. If the lady was her friend,I can guess that she too had similar traits. She may have seen such traits in her friend but was okay with it as long as it wasn't used to snatch her man. I can bet that if this her friend snatched the man of an unknown girl, she would have hailed her friend and blamed the unknown girl for failing in keeping her man. Also, she never bothered to ask herself why her man never proposed for the past 4years in a relationship. The truth which all ladies reading this should know is that a man knows within 6months if he should marry a lady or not. But the problem is that most times,he holds on hoping for the girl to change in some wrong characters and sadly, she will refuse to change, preferring to hold unto the wrong characters and hoping the man marries her with it. The implication is that when the man sees another without that character baggage,he proposes without delay. And for four years, this Lady never bothered to know why he didn't propose. |
Sad when full grown men will be lying like like little children even when the truth is very glaring. Even Buhari himself knows this is a lie. How can Buhari work when all the men who have access to him will be lying to him or telling him what he wants to hear. How will he know his shortcomings. |
He had sin somewhere in him. When you must confront demonic powers, make sure you do so with a pure and holy life, cos they have the ability to see into your life and once they see where the 'hedge is broken',they enter and deal with you. Always live a holy and righteous life. This is for all deliverance ministers to take note. |
Must have been written by an abooki zombie. He wrote as he pronounces it |
I pray that an oppositon party takes power by 2019 from APC,Nigerians will be shocked to see that the level of corruption in this administration is actually worse than that of GEJ they paint black. |
The criteria for membership in APC is the ability to lie without batting an eyelid. They sometimes forget that we all are not zombies they use their head anytime they desire |
That's good to hear. But we are still trying to figure out why when it comes to a road in the east like the Enugu-Onitsha express road, you concession it under a PPP arrangement for a private firm to do it and then collect tow on it |
The only time Nigeria had experienced this kind of suffering was in the recession era of 1983-85 and it was headed by none other than this same Buhari. An era where people had to queue ob the road to receive cups of garri, rice, salt, sugar and other essential commodities . I say it over and over again. The only reason why Buhari lost in 2003,2007,2011 and won in 2015 is that people who had knowledge of history and his failures grew too old to bother voting, weak or dead and children who never knew their left from their right grew and got voters card |
This people keep thinking that everybody is these senseless zombies that they can deceive every time they lie. On the contrary,Nigeria is headed for destruction with buhari |
Nairalanders, look at those women closely. You might recognise your mum when she was a side chick to atiku. My point is: these are now people's wives and mothers who may not wish that this photo gets out |
transient123:International agencies are masters in projecting exaggerated negative news about Africa to draw funds from donors but leaving us in more negative perception globally |
Why do I feel that this figure is highly exaggerated for some pecuniary benefits and sinister motives. Is it just me or does anyone else feel those figures are grossly exaggerated. Let's even be a bit more analytic. How many churches are in those h whole of the north that 13000(not 1300) was destroyed. How many schools are in the whole north (not just north east where we had boko haram menance) that 1500 schools were shut. And where was this 611 teachers killed. Personally,I appreciate the effort made at bringing the world to notice the plight of the affected areas but I think the figures were each multiplex by 10. |
johnsonjosbles:Nigeria is in a mess. A particular tribe has been in power for most of the nation's independent life and has jettisoned merit for nepotism which has brought us as a nation to this mess today and yet you turn around and say that that particular tribe that was last in power in 1966 is your problem? You are a coward who is afraid to face the real problem. Your comment is filled with childish anger and bitterness over a people who are steadily but surely ascending over you and your likes. The sad thing is that there is really nothing you can do about it cos who the Lord has blessed is blessed indeed. They have succeed in everything they have ventured into. They are a hard working people who don't believe that someone should work and dash them 'oouda',neither are they beggers. Sports, academics, business, science etc. And with their recent unified interest in politics, they will soon excel there too. Young man,I would advise that you strive to make a success out of your life than holding bitterness against a people who don't even know you exist. |
Please I urge all the leaders in the south east to reject this plan by fashola to get this road done under a PPP. While other major roads like Lagos Ibadan express way is being done by the fed govt,a major road in the south east like the Enugu Onitsha highway will be concessioned to a private firm to repair and toll the users. It should be rejected in its entireity. If other parts of the nation get their roads done, why is it that its in the east that they will prefer that option |
That woman since her swearing in has been outside Nigeria for almost 85% of the time. Anyway, Buhari and APC are running a gerontocracy (govt of the elders). Most of the ministers are grand parentd. And sadly, they were vigorously put there by the youths |
Emilokoiyawon:Son,merit list comes from jamb. And honestly, most tribes don't like filling schools in the east because they feel its too competitive, for example,i just heard that the cut off for medicine and surg in that UNN is 311. Now tell me if you have anyone who made that score and put the school for that course. And jamb will not put the name of anyone who didn't fill the schools in their choices. I have made the explanation as elementary as possible, if you still find it hard to grasp, then know its a case of deep seated tribalism in you and there is nothing any clarification made here can do to help you |
Emilokoiyawon:I graduated from that university about 15years ago and I can tell you that authoritatively that every new academic session we used to see the supplementary cut offs for quota system(this comes after the merit list) and in this you see cut off marks for each state pasted in each department. While you saw states like IMO,anambra, abia and Enugu gets cut off at 245(a few western States like Oyo and ogun too at this level),most northern States will have cut off like 130 for the same course. Yet,only very few of them will make it!Note that this is for the various supplementary lists. The merit list is purely from jamb scores. And that one is pure and unadulterated and that's what you saw. I normally don't respond to anyone who digresses to insults but made an exception on your case for the sake of many uninformed and over zealous kids who would degenerate this into tribal bigotry without having an iota of idea on how admission processes are structured |
Emilokoiyawon:Children will always resort to insult when they are presented with facts. I will not reduce to your level, son. |
Emilokoiyawon:Young man, that list you are talking about is the merit list. And merit list comes purely from the best jamb scores of these applying for each course. Compete with them on jamb scores, if you beat them, nobody will deny you the admission. ....and you know igbos will always excel when things are done on merit system. But am sure other supplementary lists can accommodate other 'interests' |
He gave them over N150m to get some mean looking youths that will serve as repentant militants as well as source for some sophisticated arms and amunitions and they pocketted the cash and instead used a little amount to gather some old looking men who before the whole security chiefs and media men surrendered dane guns, locally made guns and outdated wooden guns. We gather he was thoroughly embarrassed but managed to cover the embarrassment. Its a case of 'cunny man die, cunny man bury am' |
I wonder how many years back this APC would have dragged Nigeria by the time they finish. Many people who used to cook with gas and kero now fetch firewood |
tolufase:Some of you don't get it. We didn't vote for Buhari because of GEJ,the south east and south south dislike Buhari because we are well aware of his antecedents as tribalistic, inefficient and despotic. Today, the whole nation have seen what we saw sitting down. There are many efficient people in the north whom even Igbo's would have voted for over GEJ.So its nothing about tribe. On the contrary,Igbo's are the most detribalised people in Nigeria. They naturally emphasize on merit over tribalism. Instead,Hausa's are the ones known nationally as the people whom even if you build a house each for will still vote their brother over you. And that was one thing Jonathan learnt the hard way. He neglected his region (Niger delta) to make the north happy, not knowing that the north will vote their own over him,no matter what he does for them. |
sarrki:Youngman,I just want to bring you back yo your statement. They are already talking about 2017 budget. So tell me,what was achieved with the 2016 budget? And going bY your prophecy, has your Buhari won the love of the SE and SS or has he instead lost the votes of even those that voted for him. |
SultanOfBrunei:I was shouting it during the paralympic games that how one nobody seem to notice that the medalists were predominantly Igbo's. Then it occurred to me that Igbo's always excel anywhere merit system is key over tribalism and nepotism. My memory went back and it occured to me that the only medal won at the Olympics(a bronze) was captained by an Igbo(Mikel obi) who put in his personal resources to see to the team's success despite Buhari and the sports ministers inefficiencies (two born fools who wouldn't be in office if Merit system was used over tribalism). Then I flashed back to other medals won at the past Olympics. It occurred to me that the first gold medal was won by Chioma Ajunwa in 1996. And then the dream team led by another Igbo(KANU nwankwo). Nigeria would be a better place if we can allow merit over nepotism and tribalism |
mrvitalis:Philosophers have actually discovered that it us a black man thing to believe that you must suffer before anything good. That's why if a govt wants to build a road in Nigeria, they will block the road and expose the road users to untold hardship and tell them to endure it till the road is finished. Buy when you travel outside our shores, you see where the same project is carried out without any stress on the same road users. For eg,the work is mostly done in the night when traffic has eased out and before morning, they have reopened the roads for users. That way,the people barely feel it. A typical example is our drugs. While the white man after manufacturing his drugs, coats it with sweet and palatable substances,we believe in 'swallowing the bitter pill' to be well, and you can see the bitter reflection in our native herbs. And yet the sweet route is still more potent than our bitter route. If you are creative and dynamic, you will be able to conceptualize means of achieving effective goals without harm to the statistics(or at worse;most minimal) |
El-rufai has never be known to make human friendly decisions. He is of those breed of humans who believe that people must suffer to get anything good. That's who he is and that's who he had always been. My blame goes to all those who voted him believing he had changed. And this is the problem we are facing across the nation with the APC. Devils whom people went ahead to vote in because they believe they have become angels. And today, people are learning the hard way that a leopard doesn't change its spots |
It won't fly. The move to ammend the constitution was tried earlier. The state governors got their various state house of assemblies to vote against it and thus it couldn't muster the two-third majority needed. Besides, with the exception of the senate, a majority of the members of the house of reps are candidates of their various state governors. I don't see this amendment happening |
Hiploko:Buhari has ruled Nigeria on two different occasions and on the two occasions he has run the economy into recession. And on the two occasions he had blamed his predecessor for his inefficiency and failure. Please stop arguing with that kid,he doesn't know any better |

That does not explain the extremely one-sided provisional list. There is no statistic reality where this is remotely possible. It rather smells of some serious tribalistic decision making.
Oyo and ogun too at this level),most northern States will have cut off like 130 for the same course. Yet,only very few of them will make it!
