Abi ooooo, anyway its funny to hear a yoruba guy saying he doesn't eat amala. I like it though.

It's all about choice Lyn. I don't eat Pounded Yam, FuFu & Semovita. So it's very possible if he claims he doesn't eat Amala.

At OP, most likely an EIS Failure. Common problem with the W204 (from 2008 to 2010). It's an expensive repair but you can have your car scanned to confirm this.

@Eyop

I went there yesterday and met with a senior officer who also confirmed to me that it is a new
CBN policy. You can't withdraw inflow deposit in cash, you can only electronically transfer it.

But cash withdrawal is allow on counter if the cash was previously deposited via counter.

Anyway, i painfully sold part of the money to them via my internet banking
at teeth gnashing rate of N199/$1) lipsrsealed

Bro,i am not aware of this new CBN policy except this is only applicable to that GTB branch. You shouldn't have sold it to them except the USD wasn't much. I was @ access bank yesterday and a guy cashed USD over the counter and also wire transferred some funds too. Access bank is a neutral bank here and why is this CBN policy not affecting them? Well they succeeded in doing that to you but they can't try that with me.

Right now i am regretting the day i walked into GTbank and opened account with them.

Can you image? They are still insisting i can't withdraw in cash an inflow i received from Google into my dom account.

I even chatted with them on their bank website, they are all singing the same songs.

@Eyop, are you banking with GTbank as well?

I have a personal USD account with GTB and Immediately i saw your mention,I called my account officer but she wasn't on sit and i requested i speak with the next person in charge and the gentle man i spoke with confirms again that you can withdraw your inflow in CASH. So i don't know which branch is playing pranks with you but my suggestion is to go back to the bank and display little madness insisting you want to close your account with them.

By so doing, they will pay you immediately in Cash. Don't allow banks mess with you because if you owe them money, they won't allow you rest. Do this and revert back with an update.

Okay, still a little confused about these Policies. I have about 14,000 Euro available for sale in my Domiciliary account with GTB. These are foreign inflows. How do I transfer to a potential buyer in Euro?

You simply transfer the Euro from your GTB Euro account to the potential buyer's GTB Euro account while he transfers the equivalent in Naira to you depending on how much you guys bargained. The potential buyer must have a GTB Euro account for easy transfer from yours.

Many of nairaland threads were i am asking are saying the same thing GTbank is telling me.

That i can't collect foreign inflow in cash via counter, that it is a new CBN policy.

That you can only collect cash only when you deposit cash.

Another guy opened a thread on nairaland business section facing similar challenge with GTbank.

On a serious note, this CBN governor is confused. Because just last August all
Nigerian banks told member of the public that they won't be receiving foreign currencies
as deposit into dom accounts again saying they are acting on the CBN directive.

But today the same CBN is saying you can only withdraw foreign currencies cash from
your dom account only if it was cash deposited.

Confusion banking regime.

Any inflow received in your Dom account can be withdrawn in Cash or can be transferred from Account A to B within the same Bank OR wire transferred out of the country completely. Wire transferring the funds received from Bank A to Bank B within Nigeria isn't achievable.

Hello house,
I drive a W203 C180 the throttle stops to accelerate but if you put off the engine and restart it could work normally for a while and at times goes really crazy. it's a right hand drive conversion. I have changed the actuator, throttle sensor ,brain box, airflow meter, front sam. Was told to change the body wire but couldn't find in the market. Any suggestion please?

You will keep replacing parts without getting solution to the problem if you continue this way. You need to Scan that car 1st and the result will guide you to know the next line of action. Your mechanic is also not helping matters

I can't treat someone that mean well and care so much about me like that. Contrary to what ignorant people think of me, I am a highly emotional person who show defense attitude only when she feels threatened..And that's being human.

Not all bro, because my babe isn't like that(i can bet that with my life). You might say most......

Why do you have to bet your life because of a babe I understand what you meant was you trust her implicitly but that doesn't warrant betting with your life because you can't give life.

Religion / Re: Christians Why Do Most Of Us Worship On Sunday Instead Of Saturday by Eyop: 7:46am On Sep 20, 2015
Even Catholics attend mass on Saturdays and weekdays same with other churches (living faith,Redeem,Deeper Life, etc). So if there's an issue with whether to observe Saturday or Sunday as the Sabbath day, then those having issues with that better observe both days. Case closed

I exchanged $200

That's not much so there was no need to do online transaction. If the amount was in thousands(E.g $10,000 & above),then your best bet would have been going the online route.

Cheers.

Waoh and I've changed it already oh.

What are d disadvantages of d electronic by d way?

If the amount you changed wasn't much, then you need not worry. There's no disadvantage apart from the transfer charges of 0.5% of the principal plus 5% VAT which can be factored in the exchange rate. The party you are transacting with will only transfer equivalent in Naira to you while you transfer USD to him or her.
