There are vacancies but the issue is mainly at the managerial cadre, once the vacancies are filled now, the people in SS1 will find it very difficult to cross over to M level. From SS5 to SS2 no problem, there is room for promotion and ascension, that's why they want to make sure everything is well sorted out.

Let's assume they will be trying to grade the different EH positions...plus having to deal with external pressure

What's your aim of doing this research?is it not for the oil and gas job?bros NNPC doesn't come everyday,
If your research can be done in correspondence abeg do am,if it can't be done,try to defer,you can always go back and continue,if you cannot defer just fashy,you can register in Nigeria and be doing it small small,plus try and make sure you submit the manuscript you have now for publication let your publication bank be building...
In closing grab this job with your whole life,don't go and have regrets or say village people visited you,P.hds can always be done anytime....God bless you

I want to Thank God for making me among those that were selected for the G.T role. I am a little confused now cause I just recently started my PhD in Germany and am loving it already. This is because within the short time of starting my research work, I am about to submit two manuscript for publication in reputed journals, plus my research has industry collaboration (oil and gas). The scholarship value is also good. Please at JARUS, XFIRE, PANELYST and those in know of how NNPC operates, isn't it possible for me to accept the offer and still continue my PhD research? I spoke to a senior friend about the rumoured release of the APL, and as he will always do he put a call across to his colleague in GHR with whom he was on a training last week and told him what I said..the man said he heard the gist while they were away,but getting back he said nothing of such at the moment...although we know not everyone will be privy to the information about the recruitment in towers,but this guy was so affirmative to my senior friend,and my friend has told me before that if anyone will have an idea its this guy...
As hopefuls whatever info we get,we share as it may help in various ways...I have shared mine... congratulations to everyone that will receive letters when they eventually roll out...

Maybe because it's too accurate,but others have been saying similar things too

According to my friend, he told me that The list is 25 per state with additional 125 slots for oil producing state. The total number is 1050 and they are all are GTs. Eh is on hold. My friend has now registered with Nairaland waiting for posting rights. He added 60-70 percent will be posted to refineries.
The rumour about new recruitment is true, but let's wait and see how things will unfold after they have called the GTs.

His posting privileges will start next week.

The rumours of only GTs being contacted first is topping the charts for now,here's what I "think"... the FITP takes at least 9 months to complete and as it were all GTs are graded the same level based on salaries and all,so it's best they begin...the EH on the other hand are going to be based on different grade levels and that needs to be sorted out carefully hence the said delay in contacting them. I also heard that the EH had more of a particular region which didn't go down well with some elites (as someone mentioned here before) so maybe they will want to balance it too....

Bro, same thing happened to me, someone in one of the SBU sent me a WhatsApp msg out of nowhere cos we don't use that medium for anything and said this week I said Amen..saw him today and still maintained this week as approval have been given to roll out the appointments..only thing is that the GT being released first came up.....

Like i told u, an elderly man can't just call me to lie to me bc i want APL and i won't come hear to falsely raise ppls hope... We are all desperate about APL here, if by friday evening we haven't seen anything, I will call him to know what happen that the didn't release the list as he told me.. 2. In case u want to ask,I don't know when the budget will come out.

Hey guys I've been away for a while,just thought to check what's up on the thread,and boom employment offer letter...well as you all know it's totally fake,not that it's important to pay attention to the fake letter,let's just observe that all other letters had an introduction like "following your application,and success bla bla"before a reference to your applications like EH,GT numbers and all..this dude forgot to input those, although he tried with the cloning,but like I stated earlier NNPC won't send offer of employment with mails,it's a hard copy via courier hand signed.. quote me anywhere.you can only get notified of success by SMS or mails but the hard copy of APL is transmitted to you personally.....blessed day everyone...

There was actually a meeting,It was via Skype...at least I was in one of the SBUs today when it was announced that the meeting was starting..... how I wish I attended...

Nice one from Oyedepo, however he still has a long way to go, considering the amount involved here (N.65 Billion) in comparison with that of the aircraft he recently purchased (N2.5 billion) amongst others, for it's only when he starts getting to the point where that riches he accumulates begin to pale in comparison to that which he distributes, that he would know that he has gotten somewhere.

Also very importantly he has to stop mocking the poor and needy and also discouraging people from helping them, for that was the basis of his heresy concerning Job not tithing, since Job was well known as the father of the poor because of the extent to which he helped the poor, being a well known mocker of the poor that Oyedepo is, he wanted to by all means give people the idea that just giving to the poor and needy alone would not make God rebuke the devourer for one's sake.

And I don't think God would have been happy with that for God doesn't use the poor and needy to play, so no true friend of God is an enemy of the poor, and I believe that Job attitude towards the poor was one thing which set him apart in the sight of God, and hence one of the reasons God proudly showcased him to the devil.

So obviously that's a leaf that Oyedepo can take from Job's life for him to be able to command the same kind of respect from God.

For that is also in accordance with the teachings of Jesus and the example which His disciples had followed when the church first began, which is riches by distribution not by accumulation:

Acts 4:32, 34-35 (KJV)

32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.

34 Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,
35 And laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.

So until Oyedepo's church gets to this point where none of his members have lack, he should not see himself as a rich man.

Its all doom and gloom all of a sudden......well I just got this info some minutes ago which corroborates with what I said last week...
TMC just needs to sit cause all has been finalized,and the source categorically stated as far as can tell the list cannot be altered at this stage..although the person asked me if I have anyone helping me out in Abuja....

NB: the person is a staff and I’m presently in one of the SBUs at the moment..
My aim is always to calm nerves in the face of tension..let’s keep hope alive...

Okay let me try and explain in my own opinion
1.I earlier raised a possibility that these payments are done by contractors who based on contract terms must have the capacity to chest the bills for some time to meet the milestones before they are reimbursed,notice that some people from KD got 6k while some got 3k meaning different contractor,different pricing cause it happened in other states.
2.lets assume NNPC are paying themselves,nobody will have the time to sort out the bogus sheets of paper filled at block D according to dates each payee master picks and pays..eg farouq can take 3rd, 5th 1st, laza can take 8,10,6 etc they can only confirm where either stopped and continue from there hence the haphazard payment.
3. Na as the money de enter their various account that's how they will pay,once they note it's depleted beyond suspicion they will stop because trust me it's govt money those guys will always make their own too if u know what I mean.
4. Notice the payments now is majorly GTs so they probably wanted exhaust the EH first...

Disclaimer: this is my personal opinion, and before anyone want to check something I have been paid since July 17th...

My broda, I see what u're thinking. The way NNPC is paying seems more like weeding. If u understand what I'm saying. I stand to be corrected though....but only if you can give me a reasonable excuse for the haphazard payment! I can't believe all those unpaid at various dates would made mistake with their account details. Nigerian Youth as sharp as we are no dey carry account details play...talkless of making mistake out of it

Many will almost run mad when APL start dropping, that day you will regret been a Nigerian.
Don't trust the system, it's by connection and how
much you can buy the slot. Nobody is interested in your big grammars and first class.
Nairaland warriors it's high time you divert your energy and look for a very strong link instead of you guys wasting your time here . many that will be appointed are not on nairaland..


Forget about the thousands of people NNPC is about to employ.. All the slot can be sold out under a week or two..don't let them raise your hope by letting you guys sees it as a mass recruitment. No matter the high figure it cannot be enough for those ready to buy the slots.. Any recruitment process been delayed like this means buying and selling is yet to be completed..

Did u go through the process at all??or you are speaking based on what u think??sometimes it's best to stay positive no matter what u imagine...

Good morning guyzz!!...pls I have a situation that gave me insomnia last night!!..my bossom friend was called for an interview so he travelled to Abj for it!!
According to him the interview went fine and he was told that he has gotten d job but things got weird wen it was time to discuss pay!!..The panel of interviewers increased from 4 to abt 10 and they told him that d pay is something that will be unexpected but exciting but before that he will have to take an oath never to reveal any information or secrets of the company..another strange thing according to him was that he noticed they were all wearing the same ring!!
He told them that he will think abt it and get back to them!!..so he came to seek advice from me on what to do!...this is a lifetime opportunity for him and at d same time he is scared of accepting and becoming a part of something he didn't bargain for!!
So pls I need advice from all you experienced interviewees if this is normal!!..

We all came here for info as regarding the NNPC recruitment.. although some persons here may think it's a "whose the best Savage" competition;that's your prerogative you own your devices..but if you have good info that will benefit the house spill,if you don't try not to discredit those who "genuinely" source for one...
