Fake news mongers have taken over the Nigerian cyber space. How can someone be comfortable telling lies calculated to cause deliberate unrest?

Why do we have ourselves so much to the extent of hating our own progress?

As an entrepreneur i speak from experience. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO GOVERNMENT BUSINESS POLICY THAT IS MEANT TO IMPOVERISH. You just have to sit down and consider the angle you can take advantage of it from. Be a critical thinker this 2020 and not a noisy talker.

It is like what they say, "When the world gives you lemons, you make lemonade out of it" There is always something good to come out of what you never wanted.

What you see as disadvantage is actually a tool to give you an advantage IF YOU DESIRE TO TAKE ADVANTAGE.

Enough said.

JANUARY 2019 A TWEET WAS POSTED BY RENO OMOKRI and he talked about what Dangote was worth and how his wealth dropped from 2015 to 2019 and he declared that if Buhari got re-elected in 2019 that dangotes worth may drop to $0 and so many celebrated Reno Omokri and his rather silly comments.

Fast forward to 31st december 2019 and Atiku declared that "2019 not a successful year for Nigerians".

Well here is the Dangote whom Reno Omokri said would fall if buhari got re-elected and here is dangotes response to Atiku as well

This is 2020 and a new opportunity has been provided to you be you a lover or hater of Buhari. LEARN TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ANY AND EVERY GOVERNMENT BUSINESS POLICY.

The difference between the rich and the poor is that the rich take advantage while the poor simply complain and complain without lifting a finger.

Dangote became richer by $4.3b which is 1,558,750,000,000.00 (One trillion, five hundred and fifty eight billion, seven hundred and fifty million naira)

HE MADE THAT WHILE YOU SIT THERE AND COMPLAIN 24/7

THIS IS 2019. CEASE BEING A WAILER AND TAKE ADVANTAGE. MAKE EVERY DAY COUNT POSITIVELY AND BY THE END OF 2020 YOU WILL ALSO COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS.

A word is enough for the wise.

EzeIgbo1 signing out to celebrate the first day with my lovely wife and child. God bless us all as we WORK and pray and not COMPLAIN without work.

When will people like you cease from their violent and reckless ways?

Truly the future leadership of this country must not be allowed to fall into the hands of unlearned and uncultured persons also known as social miscreants.

You used the two words "empty barrel". Those words are perfectly descriptive of your person. You also the two words "confirmed noisemaker". How perfectly those words fit you, especially with your inability to know how diplomacy is conducted among nations!

Certainly you"ll never know.

Diplomacy gba oku dia. You think everything must be put down in the way you imagine it in your fantasy world right?

Why not go and ask Trump how diplomacy is done when he tweets with reckless abandon without any care to how anyone perceives his tweets. Is that also diplomatic?

the letter from Naija was not only well worded but also apt for the situation. It was a simple "I will respond at a later date" letter just in case you missed the memo.

Well am I not surprised since we appoint people based on who is your father and not on merit. It is you who does not understand both letters. The letter from Nigeria is apt. Your embittered soul will not let your education seep through to see the well worded sentences kept short and sweet simply because we have nothing to say at this point and would respond adequately when we do..

It is apparent you stopped your education at school cert level which is why your assessment can only go thus far.

hahahahaha, you want to take advantage of we Ghanaians and outsmart us.Very funny.i can see you don't realise that Ghana is Nigeria's wildest nightmares in this world since independence especially when you underestimate our size.

Have you forgotten how your forefathers made huge investments in the 50s and 60s in Ghana owning majority of businesses and properties. Do you know what we did to them,we made them amass all their businesses and properties and enacted one law to deport all of them. That law is still around buh we have metaphorically quote it as GIPC laws which forbids foreigners from engaging in any business unless you have a capital of 500,000 to 1 million dollars. The party and government who did that sacking in 1969 is called the UP party and they have now changed their name to the NPP party and are now the current governing party.,Akuffo Addis father was the president then in 1969 whist Busia was the prime minister. Did you hear the president justifying GUTA sacking Nigerians this month at the meet the press buh he keeps laughing with Buhari together. Fear that old lawyer

Currently over 600 Nigerian shops are under lock and key in Circle alone and over 400 in Accra,Opera Square whilst hundreds are locked in Kumasi Suame.Listen to your friend who told you to be careful of Ghanaians cos we watch everything closely in our country. We collapsed over 12 banks since last year and Nigerian banks such as Energy Bank,First Atlantic Bank and others closed down.Glo is in comma in Ghana now buh we have not touched it yet. They were about to be closed for non payment of taxes.

Now let me tell you about this ECO.We will make sure Nigeria gets confused on whether to join or not to whilst we lobby for the Headquarters of the Central Bank to manage the ECO just as we did to win the bid to host the Africa Free Trade Agreement Headquarters so now Ghana is the capital of free Trade in Africa .

We are the second largest economy in ECOWAS in terms of population and GDP with 68 billion dollars GDP.By the time Nigeria realise the benefits of the ECO and wants to join later just as the Africa Free Trade Agreement, by then Ghana had already become the Headquarters of the ECO currency. Why do you you think we indicated in the letter that a Central bank of ECOWAS needs to be built first.

Cote d'Ivoire is our direct cousin and we share the same Akan majority ethnic group and their president is now the ECOWAS president so we will consult him so that we house the Central Bank. France will be our direct ally so as the USA is.Then Ghana takes over as the Regional leader in West Africa.Don't worry Nigeria can survive on it's own buh ECOWAS and Africa should be ours cos we are known as the black star of hope and glory of Africa .Forget our 30 million population.

My brother, your analysis is spot on, but the critical question we have to ask ourselves is this. If the Eco is pegged to Euro, what is Euro pegged to?

Secondly, China is the biggest trading partner to all African countries, and what is yuan(Chinese currency) pegged to?

Thirdly, the trade wars between the dollar & yuan as it will impact Africa/west Africa/ Nigeria. The politics of debt trap and the realities of it to African countries. Mind you China remains committed to the long term infrastructural development of African countries and France and other powerful economies don't like that a bit.

Lastly but not the list, the new disruptive technologies of the fourth industrial revolution, block chain technology, 5gs, internet of things, algorithm, robotics, klipto currencies etcs.

... because the stakes are extremely & critically to high for France/European countries for China in Africa, France decision on Eco must surely depends on their fully understanding of the above mentioned factors and so do we in Africa/West Africa/Nigeria.

By the, Abum nwa afor studying the new world as it unfold...
God bless you bro

Here are a list of countries in Africa who pegged their currency value to the euro even before the eco fully emerges

Benin
Burkina Faso
Guinea-Bissau
Ivory Coast
Mali
Niger
Senegal
Togo
Cameroon
Central African Republic
Chad
Republic of the Congo
Equatorial Guinea
Gabon

Notice they are all French speaking countries and former french colonies?
The euro is pegged to the economies of the strongest countries in Europe and these are Germany which is the fourth strongest economy in the world with an economy worth $3.4 trillion, followed by the United Kingdom with an economy worth $2.9 trillion. France is third on the list with $2.4 trillion.

Do you see the power play france is trying to play by leveraging off and leeching off these African countries?

Germany narrowly avoided recession in 2018 and if they had hit recession the value of the euro would sharply drop. If the eco is tied to the euro it too would suffer badly.

In essence herein is the slavery and recolonization part. These African countries cannot function independently and outside the limits they have been placed. They cannot make economic decisions on their own. So they are tied at the hip to France, Germany and UK.

Now if UK pulls out of EU which is expected to happen then the euro would be hard hit because $2.9 trillion support just got removed from EU and the eco would be hard hit.

I am not bothered about China and the Yuan. I would rather have Nigeria fully align with China. 2 most populous nations in the world (China most populous in the world and nigeria most populous in Africa) would make for a behemoth of an economy in trade terms.

The eco is not a good idea at this time and i am so glad Nigeria is not enthusiastic towards joining

The west is saturated now so all focus is on Africa and the quest to dominate her. Nigeria is a problem to those who wish to dominate Africa so they want to do everything to cut us down to size and this explains a lot about how Boko haram gets weapons and this move by france.

USA, FRANCE, UK all have military bases in various locations in Africa and for what? Arms Proliferation. They are the ones getting these arms to these terrorists but they turn around and act as if they are helping you fight them. Forked tongue nations.

Let me advice everyone here reading this. You can take serious advantage of this new eco move by these foolish french countries and i will show you how.

1) Nigeria long forsaw this move to adopt eco afterall we were part of those who spoke up in support of it but after some checks we decided to slow down the process and focus more on growing Nigeria by Nigeria. I thank God for that strategic move by Buhari and i will tell you why

Since they say they will peg the eco to the euro you can expect the eco to be introduced at around 5 eco to a euro because france would never allow it to be 1 to 1. Even if this is not allowed, the french countries in West Africa who would adopt this currency do not have strong enough economies to sustain the value so expect either loans from france to these countries as buffers which is not sustainable and would be solely targeted at keeping those countries in a debt trap or a gradual devaluation of same eco due to the weak economies of the countries adopting her.

So if you are into manufacturing or Agriculture this is the time for you to make it big.

The eco would only be able to be spent in the countries which adopted it and not outside it so as a Nigerian businessman who exports, start targeting these countries who will adopt this eco and convert your prices to the new value, make your money off them and save back home in Nigeria. This is to your advantage and not their advantage.

Do not import from them because you will pay heavily due to the value change but because we have a very large economy we can export to them and at their new rates.

This border closure thing was a good thing because it has opened our eyes to what we can do as Nigerians and i think we need to take it seriously. I am in Ghana right now and just want to launch a product i invented and approved by their government here for mass production and then in about 6 months i will be back in Nigeria to tap into this eco to my own advantage.

Youths get up and form cooperatives. Put your resources together and embrace farming as a group effort if you cannot do it alone. You can then work on exports of your produce as a group effort and split the proceeds quarterly.

I am an entrepreneur and recognizing opportunity is my strong side and this is a huge opportunity for the discerning mind.

They want to block out Nigeria but we can take advantage of their attempt and get their money. easy money.

May God increase the oil on your head my brother. France is solely in for their personal interest. They feel threatened by Nigeria as a major power broker in Africa and a stumbling block to their control of these African countries.

They know Nigeria would never accept the conditions attached to the eco and it was deliberate just so they would keep Nigeria out of the eco and thus have unhindered control over the other countries that adopt it.

In a nutshell france would be like the Overall president to the presidents of the countries who adopt the eco. These countries would not be able to make economic decisions freely without the input of France.

In this time and age they still want to carry out modern slavery. Naija must not adopt that eco

The Ghanaian currency Is a false one. A farcade. This means the real value remains at 570 cedis to a dollar despite the paper money saying 5.7 cedis to a dollar.

This is why this paper value can never defeat the real value and it explains why their purchasing power is very week and as good as useless

The Ghanaian cedi is only confusing to Ghanaians but to Nigerians we take advantage of their currency. We understand it better than they do and this is why we rise quickly here and faster than they do

Because their money Is so weak we can make it quickly and save it back home in Naija quickly too. That is the only advantage. For them they cannot save it outside Ghana except if they have a foreign account so most of them are impoverished due to this fact that their currency is weak and the purchasing power weak as well.

Enter their markets and you will see produce for the poor everywhere just so the poor can afford to buy something and this is done so the market people too would not starve. After all if dem no sell wetin dem go chop

All of you who are shouting eco eco eco please travel to Europe and see how hard it is to make 100 euros.

Since they adopted euro average cost of living went up. France on its own is a very expensive country to live in all due to the pull of the euro

Same would happen in the countries who accept eco. Everything will go up and you will pay through your nose for basic amenities.

Ghana after they redenominated, experienced same thing. Standard of living became expensive for them. Many think twice before they spend 1 cedi. They tied their cedi to the dollar yet it did not help them. Now the eco is being tied to the euro and you expect a miracle?

The CFA was tied to the franc yet it did not work for francophone west Africa . Now they want to tie eco to the euro as another experiment with African countries

Nigeria must not adopt the eco. Period!

Before the Euro came the British pound was the strongest currency in that region so based on this they rejected the euro. How did that affect UK? It never affected her. They still remain stronger that the euro per strength of currency

Nigeria has the economy of west Africa in her pocket and this is our strength. None of the west African countries can rise above Nigeria even with the adoption of the eco.

Their economy would remain the same, their exports same, their GDP same. The chief beneficiary to this eco move would be France because they are the puppet masters and would continue leeching off west Africa through this new method of colonialism

Eco is not based on euro. It is tied to the euro does not mean it is based on the euro. Note the difference

The exchange rate could be 5 eco to one euro. This does not make it valuable despite this because it would simply make inflation rates shoot through the roof at this time.

Nigeria did well to hold back for now. Ghana is just clutching at any straw that they think would help their economy but Nigeria is already the economic hub for west Africa as a whole so no need to panic.

Even if the other countries in west Africa shift to eco and Nigeria does not, we still remain the economic giant to all of them and the go to country for their goods as the largest economy in Africa

Nigeria understands the import of the eco much better than Ghana does because we are essentially west Africa and in charge of her economy.

Besides France has hijacked the handling of the eco and this is bad for Nigeria. So we cannot rush into anything whose technicalities we are not yet privy to.

The former west African French colonies would do anything to please their former masters and Nigeria cannot and will not tow their path

Ghana's response was like a child who just get free candy and is rejoicing foolishly while Nigeria's response is mature.
