Muna Obiekwe's death was a reality check. A hard lesson learned, and a bitter truth that the end point of alcoholism is death. He was young like you and i. Had same youthful zest for fun and socialization. Had the impulse to drink like you and i. I learnt he was a heavy drinker, and as a result, paid the price. Every alcoholic intake is an investment for a future reward. And why do you think what happened to Muna wont happen to you and i? Take a stand and quit drinking today. Ever wondered dying and leaving a youg family behind? The misery they would embrace as a result of your action today would be unbearable. But then, it can be avoided. Its not a matter of moderation or not being a heavy drinker. Its a matter of QUITTING. I love my Kidney, i love my future kids and of cos their amazing mother dont know about you. #AmQuittingAlcoholToday |
SAY NO TO ELECTORAL VIOLENCE. We may argue, come from different schools of thought, support different candidates, we are humans afterall. We may quarrel, say words we dont mean, even avoid eachothers company, thats politics for you, and it shows we care for our nation afterall. But then, we should never pick up arms, never kill, instigate violence, compromise the security of others, or destroy properties. We should never be instruments of politicians or religious figures to cause harakiri. If we must, then their children should join side by side in the crusade to prove their course. We should never forget we share the same blood. The Nigerian blood. Nigeria na our own, make we no use our hands spoil am. |
By Stanley C. Onah My Analysis of Buhari's Result ( http:// media.premiumtim esng.com/ wp-content/ files/2015/01/ buhari- Statement -of-Result.pdf). 1. Mathematics-F9: Hmmm.. No wonder he keeps counting 150 cows and 1 million naira as assets for 12 years(how can you run the economy with this skill?). 2. Wood Work- F9: Seems he has no idea about construction, he even said he has no house. 3. English Language- C5: I guess it is Oral English and Spelling that dealt and obfuscated him. 4. Lit-in-Eng. D7: Please Sir, if you haven't got a good english background, did you expect magic in Literature? 5. Health Science- C6: AhAh.. No wonder you wont backout even with a deteriorating health. 6. But, according to the result, the Name is "Mohamed Buhari", you told us you name is Muhammadu Buhari, Please Sir, do they mean the same thing? 7. The Passport looks as if it was recently taken but has been bastardize to look old(black&white). Please sir, in 1961, do they wear cap to take passport? And can a 17 year look at an old man of 72? 8. At the top right of the result I can see "20" that has been cancelled and written "1961" (It shows this result was recently made). 9. The old name of the school was "Provisional college" but I can see "Government College(pilot) Katsina". (It also shows this result was recently made; katsina state was created in 1987, how come you had result in 1961?). 10. Dates that were written also shows the cert. Was recently made. 11. You got into the military with this result and you failed maths, so how did you enter? Ah! Buhari stop this corruption you are playing Although, I will not totally rule out the fact that it is not authentic. But, I think this copy of result is a piece of bullshit made to clear the controvesy. # BuhariPULLOVER. Hit LIKE for # GEJ #FailBuhari |
Apoligies lecturer, this opinion was let out very fast. Would get back to you carpet-bagger. |
Have you noticed that the so called Prof. Osinbajo does more campaigns of late than envangelism. Have you noticed our 'beloved' pastor has abandoned his flock for rallies and political 'house fellowship'. Have you noticed he is now being addressed as Prof. Osinbajo, not as Pastor Osinbajo. Have you also noticed the flock he was supposed to be tendering are fatherless thanks to his divine 'Political Mandate'. Have you also noticed i just aired my opinion so please no bashing. |
Can someone refer me to a good film school in lagos. Aside PEFTI. Thanks |
By Mercy Roberts Gen.Muhammadu Buhari. Sir, I consider your generation a very privileged one, indeed. In 1975 at the age of 33, you were appointed the Military Governor of the North- Eastern State, present day Borno & Yobe states. In 1976 at the age of 34 you became the Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources. In 1978 at the age of 36 you became the Chairman of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC). Today the reverse is the case. Most Nigerians at age of 35 are still unemployed and still living with parents. Many are still not married. During your time you were already Governor at this age. One major reason for this unfortunate turn of events is that many elders like you have refused to voluntarily handover the baton to the next generation. Life should be a relay race where one runs his race and hands over to the next. In Nigeria many elders like you have run their races and are still holding on tenaciously to the baton. But Sir, I have an important question here for you. The question is simple, MUST YOU SERVE NIGERIA AS A PRESIDENT ONLY? IS THERE NO OTHER CAPACITY YOU CAN SERVE US EXCEPT THE PRESIDENCY? It is very erroneous to imagine that you can only serve Nigeria only in one capacity. During the regime of late General Sani Abacha, you accepted the appointment to serve as the Chairman of the then Petroleum Trust Fund PTF. The general opinion was that you served faithfully in this capacity. Well done Sir! But you never asked Abacha to vacate office for you as your former subordinate in the army. Never! In fact that would have been a dangerous move, if not suicidal. Rather you served faithfully under your former junior in the army. Sir, imagine if you take on another job like the Chairman of EFCC or ICPC or NDLEA. Nigerians actually need you to serve in one of these capacities much more than they need you in the Presidency. Mere mentioning your name as Chairman of EFCC would drive many corrupt men underground. But you wouldn’t . Either the Presidency or nothing. When are you going to handover to the next person? It is either you do it voluntarily or risk disgrace at the polls. In 1983 at the age of 41, you became the Head of State. Most Nigerians in my age have not had the opportunity to serve, but we still remain committed to the Nigerian project. You should rather be grateful to God and to Nigerians for the numerous opportunities that have come your way to serve Nigerians. Others are begging for just one opportunity to serve. Sir, you have to accept the stark reality on ground that you have served your time already. That is life for you. You run the race, you handover the baton for others to run, you cannot hold on to the baton more than is necessary. As a former head of State you are already a member of the Council of State Meeting. You have every avenue to channel your views across. You don’t necessarily have to be in a frontline role, you can serve in an advisory capacity. That is still service. I do not see Nigerians electing a 72 year old former Head of state to lead us in this Digital era. With due respect to you Sir, you belong to the Analogue age and therefore, will not fit in as president in this digital era. This is the blunt truth. Please do not enter the Guinness book of world records on a negative note. Losing four consecutive Presidential election would not augur well for your reputation. It is in your best interest to assume your position as an elder statesman and allow others to serve. Nigeria does not belong to you alone. It belongs to us all ! |
Have a B.A in History, want to study law. Advice and direction needed. |
I repeat!if you've not been called, don't give up HOPE, cos e get y!! I tap into this. Am the NEXT to RECEIVE a Call. |
Service was like a big party where your entry and exit is barely noticed unless you steal the show on the dance floor. So is the NYSC where thousands come and go, only few who made a mark are remembered. Given a chance to serve again, i would SAVE. Save to start up a business after service, or save to further my M.s.c. And you? |

Elma Excel Ojums A MUST READ FOR ALL ABIANS..... We must not all be POLITICAL, yes! But we MUST all stand for JUST..... We MUST follow the proper path, yes!... Evil prevail when good men do nothing.... Be informed about what is about to happen at ABIA STATE... T. A Orji has given his son Chinedu (We all know how useless he is) PDP ticket to run for ABIA HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY... Of cos, if we all fold our hands, he will win.... This implies that whoeva T. A Orji impose on ABIA at 2015 will hand over POWER to T. A Orji's son(Chinedu) as Governor after his tenure if they do not impeach him..... Abia State will be HELD at Ransom for another 16yrs.....God forbid!.... Abia youths, i ask, are we cowards? Are you a coward? God will only forbid that to happen if we rise up to it..... As it stands, am no longer interested in the name of any political party once it will be a tool to stop this rubbish....Are there no youths as angry as i am in Abia again? Let us rise to what IMO youths did to Owelle.... Let us rise and choose our own Leader.... Inform your brothers and sisters, it is time to save our dear state. How do we do it? Let us choose our own leader, impose him on another political party and rally around him... We have the strength, let us do this for our children.....Updates on the movement is coming up..... Be ready to save Abia... |
I See Change! Abia Youths must arise. |
We need to put out a strong message that Abians wont be taken for granted any longer. Its suprising how Abians are timid to stand up to oppression. Change would never come from God, He uses men to effect the desired change. I urge you all to key into the 1Million Abia Youth Movement come Jan. We must show our leaders power actually rests with the youths. Time to stand up and be counted. Time to Kick Orji Kalu, T.A Orji, his son Chinedu and his Imposed candidate Ikpeazu to the bins of History and decide what we want. # 1MillionAbia Youth Movement. |
