What African or Asian would want to go to Europe? Canada and the United States is more immigrant friendly than racist Europe. For goodness sake, the U.S has an African president.

@Uchenna: I look forward to this years World Igbo Congress Convention. Will you be there?.
Do you remember Mike Ahamba's (SAN) monumental speech that was completely delivered in Igbo?.
I will be in Houston around the time, but I don' know if I will be there though. Most likely, but I am not sure.

I remember hearing about the speech. My father told me about it.

So I def wont be helping financially. I'll just get involved, atleast to know what's going on, you know.
Same with me, I can barely trust the projects occurring in my village. angry

All my kinsmen want to chop chop chop when my father gives money to the village.

I love Port Harcourt right after Arochukwu. This is where I was raised and hopefully raise a family in Port Harcourt. Keep up the good work Gov. Amaechi.
Politics › Re: Best And Worst Governors In Nigeria? by EzeUche(m): 7:44pm On Jun 27, 2010
I would say Fashola is the best with Amaechi a close second.

While Theodore Orji has the worst performance then Ohakim!
Politics › Re: Is Oil A Blessing To Nigeria? by EzeUche(m): 7:39pm On Jun 27, 2010
Oil is a curse. It is the glue that keeps us together. If it wasn't any oil, then I bet the Yoruba and the north would go their separate ways and would not give a dammn about the fictional South-South.

My fellow Igbos instead of calling the OP a dunce let us discuss how his Yoruba people like OBJ and Co drained the economy as well and took billions of dollars compared to lowly Igbo Military Gov.

You compare one state to an entire country in which a compilation of the biggest looters in Nigeria were all non-Igbo. Mostly Yoruba and HAUSA!

undecided undecided undecided undecided undecided undecided undecided undecided

If you all hate the Igbo so much, then stop crying when we bring up Biafra. That is all.

Igbos haven't been in power since the 60s but look at where this nation has gone. No where. Can't blame a people who have not had political power. Blame your own people and leave us the hellll alone.

I agree with the OP. Ghanaians do not really like Nigerians so why should we support them? My time in Accra, I experience so much vitrol, due to being Nigerian.

@ bk/babe97,

Are you Igbo ?
He is a Yoruba. As much as he wants to deny it, he is one of those Yoruba who were raised in the United States.
Politics › Re: Ojukwu Was Unbelievably Selfish, Greedy, And Self-centered--- Chief Uwechue by EzeUche(m): 3:25pm On Jun 27, 2010
bk/baybe gets an erection when Igbo men are angry with him.

Where is Wily-Wily or mekkus to handle him? They are the only Igbo who have the time to battle this buffoon.

The only free elections in Nigeria was that of abiola,it was free and fair and it was a representation of the people, but what about obj,he did not win on the street of his house,he did not win his state,he did not win his region, but some group of people told him he will be the president,it came to pass,he spent 8 years.Yaradua did the same ,our votes did not count, obj said this is the person and it came to pass.Every place as a leader,so i guess you have leaders who will double as part of the elites.orji kalu got the govenorship for abia because he was a political player and elite memeber of that place.
And didn't Abiola receive a good amount votes from the entire Igbo populace? It shows that we Igbos support the best person, no matter what group he is from.

People have to fight for their vote! You see the people of Iran rose up against the Ayatollahs and the rest of the religious establish. Nigerians only enjoy the safety of their own homes instead of going into the streets. Now the northerners can get worked up into a frenzy and start rioting and attacking other groups, but they are used by their elite.

I am tired of hearing this crying nonsense. If you wont rise up, then I feel they have no right to complain about their situation.

This guy stop quoting me and thereby derailing this thread!!!.

Using annoying words like that does not make you anyhow smart.

Imaging dude calling people animals?. What sort of home are u from?

This is my last response to you.

If you like, as an Ibo guy, you and your entire household can vote IBB, that is your headache.
In a true democracy, a person has the right to vote for whoever they please. Even if it is the fool IBB or some other northerner. Some of us will be supporting Jonathan while others will be voting for Pat Utomi and his small party.

Why must you tribalize this convo? What is the point of that Yoruba?
