Why am i on this thread?  I don't watch Naija movie huh  On the side note; Fstranger3 and Ezeuche  are the most bigoted Nls, even though both of them are my brothers.
Shut up. Did I start this tribal mudslinging? The answer is NO. I had to defend my people that were under assault. That is something you wouldn't know, because of your mixed blood. You will have to choose soon though.

This is funny indeed.
PoliticsRe: S’west Ohanaeze Warns Ndigbo Against Violence by EzeUche2(m): 8:25pm On Feb 23, 2011
Why would any Igbo want to cause violence in the South-West? It is not our battle. The do-or-die politics of the South-West is of no concern for the Ndigbo. We are not violent by nature. Just a peace-loving people, but when pushed too far, we will bite.
PoliticsRe: Cameroonians Plan Anti-government Protests by EzeUche2(m): 6:38pm On Feb 23, 2011
This is very good. I hope there is a sea of revolution in "Sub-Saharan Africa."

When will Nigeria has its day when we can throw of the yoke of PDP and all these corrupt politicians?

You did not need to create a new username just to call me a nuisance, you know that right Ezeuche?
I do not do that. . .

I stick to using one name when posting on Nairaland. Not that changing of name BS. Way too much work.
PoliticsRe: Dont You Think Ojukwu Is Leading The East To Nowhere By Supporting Gej. 2015 Hmm by EzeUche2(m): 5:32pm On Feb 23, 2011
We have to get past 2011 first and the way the North has been ranting, they seem like they are going to make it hard for GEJ.

But you are still playing catch up to us in terms of storyline, creativity and initiative.
What storyline, creativity and initiative? I have seen many Yoruba movies and it is all about juju, juju and more juju. No creativity whatsoever. That is why it is at the bottom of a trash bin.

Now that we are winning, you want us to get along?

Aint happening
Winning at what?  grin

Everyone knows Nollywood is Igbo dominated. Only a fool would say that it isn't. When people watch Nollywood movies around the world, they hear Igbo names and sayings, so who is winning. Like I said, you all can have the music industry, while we have the movie industry.

It is our COMPARATIVE ADVANTAGE.

you really need me to pull up all those million and one threads where you lot keep bitching about how you are marginalized and held down by your tribal inferiors?
Just like your lazy people are always complaining about Igbo domination, and not getting a fair deal when it comes to oil.

The thing though is that Yorubas believe more in quality while Ibos believe in quantity.
You just like spewing crap.

Igbo movies are just more appreciated throughout the world.

I bet you would slit your wrist, if Holywood creates a movie about Igbo culture. I hear Steven Spielberg is making a Things Fall Apart movie.
CelebritiesRe: Uche Jombo -’yoruba Speaking Actors Do Not Respect Us. by EzeUche2(m): 4:45pm On Feb 23, 2011
Yorubas are trying to compete against an Igbo bastion. We ceded you all the music industry, just let us have the movie industry.

You all cannot be good at everything.

My Newzealand friend here in Beijing told me that one thing he love from nigeria is Nigeria movies. he continue to disturb me about newest one's which i always have to order it for him from Guangzhou where there are a lot of igbo trader's.

But when i ask him why he love nigeria movie that much but i don't: Infact i love american movies more. He simply reply me and say "American movies are just for entertainment, and has no moral to teach' but Nideria movies has a lot to teach in area of moral and community life and etc.

he also told me that i hate nigeria movie because am so familiar with it. he even told me that he is inlove for GENEVIVE infact he will like to marry her if she will accept, when he said this i laugh.   pls my dear brother's lets stop tribalism in nigeria because it's of no use.
Very nice story.

I am glad you friend enjoys NIGERIAN movies.

you guys claim you are black jews take a cue from them

they have been persecuted since before eternity

that hasn't stopped them
I am not one who claims I came from the Jews. Only a few Igbos believe that nonsense.

But nothing has stopped the Igbo either, so what are you saying? Do you see us not progressing? Do you see us not making money? Do you see us not reaching our educational potential? Do you see us complaining about oil? If not, I advise you to shut up.

but if these six people had done well outside Nigeria, they would be called the true sons of biafraland by ibos. shocked shocked
I shall claim them anyway. My foolish brothers and sisters in this case are giving my people a bad name. But then again, I see many people in the U.S. defrauding Medicare so this is not new.

what difference does that make if truly nollywood is for nigerians and not ibo ? use your head to see the hypocrisy of your people
Would you find an Igbo actor playing the role of a Yoruba Oba? I do not think so. What Peter Edochie said had merit.

He was complaining that Olu Jacobs were playing Igbo roles, without any knowledge of the culture. Big difference.

Go today to every African countries and even Caribbean countries, you will notice their quest for (Igbo)Nollywood movies. igbo's in no way competing with anybody instead they are at the centre stage competing with anyone at the stage not at a village square. listen i love Yoruba's a lot and am looking for the day igbo's and Yoruba's will unite,if that will happen, then Nigeria deliverance will show fourth.
Thank you!

People need to give us credit when credit is due.

Nollywood movies are trash. Same love scene and break up scene and cheating scene. Na wa o!

You'd think the Igbo language would be known far and wide (accd to EzeUche), but on the contrary, Yoruba languages are more known. Why is that?
Liar! Liar!

The only Nigerian language known far and wide is Hausa language. It is the 2nd most widely spoken language in Africa after Swahili.

which indigenious ibo movies are successful as the yoruba ? fyi,AFRICAMAGIC has dedicated channels for yoruba and hausa movies.
While Igbo, English-speaking movies are seen far and wide. The whole continent knows what Chineke or Igwe means, because of our movies.  cool

Why should they? They are part of this unholy union to keep the East from rising.

And it is not a whine, when you are stating a fact.

Now Niger Deltans are whining, so what does that tell you?

I think you enjoy fighting don't you. And tribal fights is where you thrive my Politics brother.

Either way, Yoruba movies are sub-par most of the time. No plot whatsoever. Better than Hausa movies, but still inferior to the English-speaking movies.

I knew you would be on this thread. Even in the Entertainment section, you will bring your tribalism into this section. I am not surprised though.
