hahahahaah  grin grin typical naija complains after election; the election was rigged. . . my opponents over-rigged me. . . bla, bla, bla grin

Whatever, you are still the undisputed champion. Long may you reign grin
And just like Nigerian elections, no one finds them credible. The same goes for Nairaland.  grin

Igbo man had to win that election, even though there are more Igbo bashing threads on Nairaland, and the person picked doesn't even create threads.

Well if I get under you Yoruba skin like that, I TAKE THAT AS A BADGE OF HONOR.

Dont forget you are still the undisputed champion till we have a new election

was surprised at the wide margin you gave bkbabe  cheesy
Those were the days I only had ONE moniker and could not vote over and over like some people. Or there are just more Yorubas on Nairaland. Either way, the champion I should remain. The Awolowo thread I created did go to well with Yorubas.
Foreign AffairsRe: Ghaddafi Orders Jet Fighters To Bombard Protesting Civilians In Libya by EzeUche2(m): 11:09pm On Feb 25, 2011
In the violence of the last fortnight, the colonel's African connections have only served to rekindle a deep-rooted racism between Arabs and black Africans.

As mercenaries, reputedly from Chad and Mali fight for him, a million African refugees and thousands of African migrant workers stand the risk of being murdered for their tenuous link to him.

One Turkish construction worker told the BBC: "We had 70-80 people from Chad working for our company. They were cut dead with pruning shears and axes, attackers saying: 'You are providing troops for Gaddafi.' The Sudanese were also massacred. We saw it for ourselves."

It's your choice, hun. . .although y'all seem to be taking this internet thing too seriously. Obviously the so-called threads aren't personally attacking you but your ethnic group. Besides the threads are opened by just a handful of people who do not represent the whole group.

I'm not gonna open anti-Yoruba threads just because a handful of Yoruba people opened anti-Igbo threads. If everyone starts opening these threads, that would be so redundant since the so-called threads serve no useful purpose anyway.
He would not understand. Most of these people do not understand that nonsense.

Well I am glad nothing has changed about you.

He indeed said that in one of his interviews. The man would rather hire an expatriate if a Hausa could not do that job instead of a fellow African.

Nigeria keeps on cutting off its nose to spite its face, in which I have to use this American euphemism.

The factories of the East are being ignored, to the point, that some of our companies have to look to other African countries like Ghana to buy our products. The sad fact is that the Nigerian gov't would rather buy abroad, then products made by Nigerian hands!

Buiter has missed the most important component. There are impediments to growth (for all countries) resulting from the bad ethics and morals of the citizens, which show up in corruption, political problems, dysfunctional institutions, monopolies, theft, violence, wars, lack of human rights, class (caste) societies, lack of property rights, tribal behavior, etc. Perhaps economists should use a measure of ethical and moral development in assessing potential growth.

Of course Kase is involved. Anyone who think Mr. Lawal's hands are clean is a fool. But then again, who in business has clean hands?

What's going on in Mongolia, Bangladesh, and Iraq?

Anyone know?
Mongolia has a lot of mineral wealth and trade with China will help improve the Mongolian economy.

Bangladesh has a LARGE population for a country its size and can be used for labor.

Iraq has oil. . .

Look at some of these Yorubas kiss the Hausa backside even though they suffer the most in Jos.

Igbo youth have joined forces with the Berom people and have clashed with the Hausa. To the extent, that Hausa have stated that Igbos are fomenting the conflict and telling the Berom people to attack Hausa.

nwaigbo, maybe you break an article down instead of posting it wholesale. When a person wants to know about something, they want people who can explain it to them instead of posting an article.
