I had to do a thorough review on the issue of Oanda and how it been used by UKVI. Please below is my observation using a sample refusal letter, this gave me an insight;

I noticed the VO used the arrangement of Naira (up) = Pounds (down) to do the conversion as stated in the refusal letter. If you try to arrange the conversion the other way round by placing the Pounds up and Naira down you will not be on the same page with the UKVI.

I am open to a debate on this matter!!!

If you send it to sch on the 11th of June ,u can still use it on or before 11th of July but if you are not comfortable to use it for visa application ,feel free to a print a new one

The other person's bank statement was said to have been confirmed by the bank but there was an error in the calculations which simply means the person had tempered with it. UKVI didn't find that out from the bank but from their own calculations.

It's also possible that they can verify the balance because things change everytime, I didn't say otherwise this time. But that wasn't totally justified from the post, hence, my observations.

Humans make mistakes, machines make mistakes only God doesn't. This happened in January but maybe u didn't read abt it or u are new here. The bank did not capture 4naira of SMS alert,the branch has apologised for their action. So to people that turned themselves to jury over it and u too that brought Jan 25 matter up on may 29. Good evening gurus, please help me to address my issue, my spouse got CAS today with £1k deposit stated on it. Meanwhile we made additional £2k payment of tuition due to the increase in rate on Thursday this week and her account has been debited but we haven't gotten TELEX as the school also confirmed they haven't receive the payment.

1. Can she go ahead to apply for the visa if the TELEX is ready and the school confirms the payment.

2. The statement of account has been printed with the rate of 600/1£, if she wait for the school to update the CAS with the new payment, the rate of pounds may go higher than 600. Will this be a problem during visa?

I have an issue bothering me.

My parent is willing to sponsor my husband to go and study in the UK while I apply with him as a Dependent. I already have a UK masters degree but presently in Nigeria.

Based on what I have read on this thread and on the UKVI website, He cannot use their account since he technically has no ties to them. My issue is:

1. Do my parent need to send the entire funds into my account (N20,000,000 equivalent) and then we (husband & I) both use my account to apply or do they need to send it to his own account?

2. How do we move that amount into my own account or his without it been termed as money lodgement.

Please note that the money is available for our use.
