Well-done every one for helpful information provided on this platform. I was denied CAS by my school for January intake after meeting all their condition of offer, including payment of 50 percent payment of school fees and providing TB certificate. Their reason was that I have high refusal record with the immigration. Please kindly advice on my next step of action and also how can I correct my TB certificate since the school address is already on it. For the school fees, they had already sent me a refund application form to fill which I had done already. Am really down thinking of next action. I really want to join January or February intake. I have all the requirements ready.

I have been a silent reader and I’m unable to login but I just have to use another account to appreciate all the people here.

I started following the Canada Thread as far back as 2016 and was preparing myself for Student Visa application up until 2020 for January 2021 intake but to the glory of God I got rejected October 2020� (Trust me when I say i dotted my T’s and crossed my I’s, Lol!)

It is very important for me to have my masters abroad in 2021 (for personal reasons) so I had to look for an alternative, this was when I started making findings about UK schools. I remember joining this UK group and seeing CAS, TLS, UKVI etc. I was extremely confused and was wondering where to start from hence I read over 300 pages of the last thread so I could catch up and be current plus I had to Google the slightest thing for better understanding (did all this in a month)

Long story short, I got my Visa today!�
Received CAS - 25th November
Applied - 26th November
Biometrics - 2nd December
Decision Mail - 22nd December
Collection Mail - 4th January
Pick Up - 5th January
Ikeja TLS, Standard.

His friend didn't cheat him NO,he didn't. My friend's brother paid for her at 580 with the agreement that anytime she wants to return his money they will use prevailing rate,she returned last week at 628. UK people don't joke with money,.It was ur cousin's choice , saying this about his friend is unfair. Don't bother to write to this school,cos if you do
1)u won't get the full refund
2) the money will be returned to his friend's account and he will never pay him at buying rate. He will loose more. You can't only be cheated once,let it go
Mark my words,call ur cousin sept that u need pounds he/she will do same. People abroad use black market rate to convert their hard earned foreign currencies

Complement gentlemen. Pls I need your advice, my cousin's resumption date is May 2021 at Northumbria University. His fee is £7200, his friend in Uk said he can help him pay for the fees, all he needed to do is to transfer the Naira equivalent to his account. He said banks will take longer time to process if he chooses to that route. He charged him £1 for 635 Naira. The guy has helped him paid the £7000 to the school, and he has also transferred the naira equivalent to him. I was mad when he told me. Gentlemen, Can he write to the school that he wants a refund of his fee that the person that paid the school cheated him, since his resumption is May. After the refund he can now go to the bank to pay. This whole incidence happened on the 21 Dec 2020. Pls I need advice!

But I got stocked when we were asked if the parent or the legal guardian will provide the maintenance fund.

tried doing this but they said you can only escalate after 15 working days of biometrics

Write to your school,my school will be resuming 18th January but last enrollment has been extended to 8th Feb and that is not all ,tuition deposit payment has been extended to 18th Jan too. Most schools are flexible now cos of the recent event

I got there at 6.00a.m. and was number 30 on the list.
People dey vex for this UK waka ooo!!! U have to book an appointment 1st,then go with your 42k to do walk in but according to the girl it is no more business as usual cos more people are opting for this service and it seems they have maximum numbers they can attend to per day.

From the experience of my cousin last year who is also a single parent with two boys.
She got a cover letter from the partner and a court affidavit sworn by both parents then contacted a registered nanny in Newcastle who lives around the school environment,contracted her,she sent an agreement and visa was granted to her

Since the person is the sch agent,he /she is definitely doing it for free but if you have means of paying for your IHS/visa fee yourself, kindly do it cos that is where their cut lies.

My Sch agent who processed my admission is opting to make my visa application, but I would have loved to do it myself so I can have the experience incase I want to apply for my wife. On the other hand I wish to avoid the stress of making the application myself.

U are showing balance of your tuition fee
E.g your tuition fee is 11900 and you have paid deposit of 3500. The balance is 8400+9207(maintenance fee)=17607 is what you are showing . 17607*520=9,155,640. But you can show 9.5m cos of fluctuation. Hope this is helpful
