Commonsense99: Yes, there is an overdose for every medication. The daily prescribed dosage for an average adult ranges from 65-90mg, depending on the patient. Meanwhile different fresh fruits and vegetables we eat already contains vitamin c.
The maximum limit is about 2000mg, after which there might be symptoms like nausea, diarrhea, heartburn, headache, aggravation of gastritis, etc.
Please let us endeavour not to abuse any medication, drugs are small but mighty, eating them in large quantities like food is mostly toxic than therapeutic. Thanks for this vital piece of info. God bless |

Commonsense99: I won't doubt this hypothesis, at a time like this, medicine needs to fire from all cylinders to see if we can stumble upon the possible remedy.
Vitamin C has always been a wonder drug, right from the history of the discovery...during the days of scury.
The vitamin is an immune booster, and it biochemicaly plays a vital role of Hydroxylation, in the build up of collagen formation.
However, that is not to say Nigerians should start abusing it like they did to chloroquine, sticking to the routing dose of one tablet a day can do, as a prophylactic Can one overdose on Vitamin C? If yes, how much is too much? |

Wherever the leaders lack vision, the people perish...
The inaction of the government has brought us here. If countries where virtually everything works such as Italy and the US can be hit hard by the virus. Then I wonder what Nigeria's fate is. These are indeed dark times. God save our souls. |
