Good thing that celebrities with large followings are speaking up in support of Yele Sowore. More celebrity reactions are expected in the days ahead. It is all part of democracy.

However, given the level of his intelligence and exposure, I am sure that Sowore was aware of the consequences of his choice of REVOLUTION instead of OCCUPY or PROTEST MARCH. He knew the implications of his action and resisted every counsel and warning to tone it down. The truth is that he deliberately set himself up to walk this road for a reason. He knew the massive political leverage his detention and trial along with attendant publicity and international outcry will give him in 2023 elections against other candidates.

Alhaji Buba Galadima, a spokesman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 general elections, on Wednesday said Nigerians have been thrown into a mourning mood following the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari at the Tribunal.

Galadima, who spoke on Channels Television, said many Nigerians believed they have been robbed.
The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal had held that Atiku Abubakar and the PDP had failed to discharge the burden of proof of the allegation of non-qualification of President Muhammadu Buhari to contest the February 23 general election.

Atiku had told the tribunal to nullify Buhari’s election and declare him the authentic winner of the election.
But delivering judgment, Justice Mohammed Garba, held that evidence before the court shows that Buhari won the election.

I still do not understand why the NEF becomes the whipping group for everyone at this moment. They never asked all Northerners to return to the North but only the Fulani herdsmen who have been fingered in most vicious attacks and who they perceived to be endangered. Isn't this similar to what America does to her citizens too by cautioning them not to go certain places and even airlifting them to safety in times of danger.

The governors who sit atop humongous security votes can appear to be politically correct since they aren't directly affected. I'm sure the villagers whose farmlands have been occupied and who cannot go to farm safely or sleep with both eyes closed would disagree with the governors.

I personally think the call by the NEF should be applauded. The herders should form ranches, colonies or RUGAs in the North and export their cows to the South like they do with tomatot, pepper and their other produce.

Petitioners’ Witness 59, David Njoga, called by the petitioners as an expert witness, told the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal on Friday that the server results presented by the petitioners as the authentic results of the February 23, 2019 election were released by an anonymous official of the Independent National Electoral Commission.

Njoga called by the petitioners -the Peoples Democratic Party and its presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar – told the Justice Mohammed Garba-led tribunal of five judges that he never knew the unknown INEC employee.

He described the unknown person as a whistleblower.

The petitioners are challenging the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari and his All Progressives Congress at the poll.

Njoga was earlier called to the witness box by the petitioners’ lawyer, Chief Chris Uche (SAN).

Under cross-examination by INEC’s lawyer, Yunus Usman, he said he analysed the results of the election obtained from INEC’s server and published on a website, www.factsdontlie.com.

According to the witness, the website was created on March 12, 2019.

Fielding more questions, he said, “The site does not belong to INEC but the data it contains is from INEC server.”

He confirmed that he had “never worked with INEC before”.

He added, “Normally, websites are designed for different purposes. The information on the website is from an INEC official.”

Asked, the witness said, “The results on the website are from INEC server

The name of the INEC official is anonymous. He is a whistleblower.”

Asked if he knew the whistle-blower he said “No”.

Asked if the whistleblower was a robot, he said, “My lords, robots do not create websites.”
