Good legal arguments, and Garba v Unical is a good authority on fair hearing. Shaw v DPP is good too and overall I think you made a strong argument.

Some general Points to note, especially for the law school, public Articles and legal practice.

1. Try to avoid verbosity, particularly ‘big grammars’. It can be distracting and often makes your points difficult to understand.

Simple and short sentences are the most effective way to communicate.

2. Avoid quoting long texts from cases. They can be distracting too - and the reader might just get bored. You do not also want to give the impression that you do not have a voice of your own.

Quotes should normally not be longer than 5 lines. Paraphrase if you must.

And more specifically on the subject.

I don’t think you can discuss the legality of the decision without recourse to the rule-book signed by the student - and which is binding on both parties.

The absence of this, makes your argument generalist.

It’s like saying - an action is legal because a particular case determined that Universities can take actions against erring students, no matter what the rule binding the parties says.

This doesnt mean you are wrong. The whole point is that you cannot validly comment on the validity of an action when no ‘rule/law’ has been violated. See Aoko v Fagbemi.

I think the plastic we are talking about here is mainly plastic bottles. If you limit it to this area and then instead of industries producing preform you convert them to recycling industries to be sold lesser or at a similar price to what preforms are sold at. I don't see the reason for inflation infact if it could reach a stage where we could be importing from neighboring countries plastic bottle for recycling and we're looking at serious job creation/ business opportunities here

I agree a ban on plastic importation as well as plastic indigenous industries will go a long way. As for recycling I think incentives should be added for those who are able to gather huge amount of plastics. This was the idea indomie used earlier on. As for orientation/sensitization it should be done to the grassroots using local channels/ radio station as well as offering alternatives and incentives till people get acquainted with it. The most important factor is governance as long as illiterates continue to govern us. These won't be given priority.

Very wrong conclusion. Void votes are valid when determining total vote cast in an election. The votes scored by Zamfara APC (though now voided) are still very valid when determining the total vote cast for the election.

The above notwithstanding, the OP is also wrong in claiming that the PDP candidate need 202,696 votes to be returned elected. All that is required to win a governorship election is for a candidate to score majority of the vote cast and get 25% of total vote cast in at least 2/3 of all the local government in the state.

Inec isn't following the Constitution rather it's following the order of the court which says the second highest scorer should be the winner which is PDP simple.
