If you plan to inform your fiance (even without the blackmail), kneel in front of him first and tell him there's something important you want to inform him, that he shouldn't be upset and angry with you. Plead with him and then inform him. Let him know you only slept with his friend once and you regretted it afterward and ended the affair. He might be angry and upset at first because he loves you but eventually he'll see reason especially if you send emissaries to him if need be.
