Wow, never knew about that of YouTube, could you throw more light, thanks
Simply start a Channel and make videos on searchable content (not ads but interesting topics within your niche but pitch your produce in-between the video). Some content creators get famous without spending a penny, other give up or are unlucky.

A country that is clueless and no priority of decision.

With all the problems of the country.

Look, they'll reverse it later to gain trust towards election
They are already using the word "suspension" instead of 'ban'. I am sure Twitter has already bribe some people capable of convincing the clueless president to revoke the ban.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Twitter Ban : How Has It Affected Your Business? by faceland:
It affected me in a way that I have resume the use of Twitter because of the ban. My account was almost abandoned (the same account that a few years ago, one of the organisers of a major art event in Senegal discovered me there on Twitter).

Due to the ban, I want to start publishing more on twitter. I am aiming for tens of tweets daily.

We are Nigerians, we would always find a way around.

I sympathise with those who depends on it to drive traffic to their blogs or those who depend on it to find new Nigerian based clients. This is what you get when your government is out of touch with its people.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Twitter Ban : How Has It Affected Your Business? by faceland:
The government need to compensate businesses whos target customers are Nigerians and who have spent months/years building their Twitter presence.

Has anyone hear what Osinbajo has to say about this? I think he studied law and should be familiar with topics on human rights and democracy.

Art, Graphics & VideoSCRIBBLE Drawing Technique Demonstrated In A High Resolution Video. by faceland(op): 9:54pm On Jun 05, 2021
The scribble drawing technique is demonstrated in this timelapes video. It show everything step by step in HD (high resolution).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zapDtBH0uHM&t=229s

It is one thing to explain a process and another thing to witness it. Here you see the drawing being made from the birds-eyes-view (or point of view of the artist that is sketching). I used a white paper instead of the used textbook that I usually use. Anyway, I also combined a little bit of cross-hatching.

I have another video where I totally use nothing but scribble (video is below):

I don't like commission. I have outgrown that stage of my career (have no interest in it). Back in the days it was all I did. I still love portraiture (which is my origin), but I despise commission (especially by those who do not appreciate the arts).

I am just enjoying the freedom now. I might get back to it some day.

I want to intensify my tweeting partly because the clueless president placed a ban on it. I think I would dominate the hashtag #NigerianArt

This is the problem with Nigeria. With insecurity and bad governance then are now activity preventing use form marketing our art online in their quest to suppress free speech.

Try and write well. And use punctuation marks properly.

I am so so sorry for calling you a waste of sperm and egg. Even though you and I don't agree, it shouldn't degenerate to gutter language.

I am sorry.
I am writing on an online forum. So having perfect grammar or punctuation isn't important. All I care is about is the ability to communicate (if you understand what am saying). For example so so isn't proper grammar and you don't start a sentence with "and".

Anyway, you apology is accepted. I prefer civility to unproductive insults. I wasn't offended because I know who I am. Good night.

Because you can't write anything to convince anyone beyond throwing insults like a spoilt and useless child, disgracing his parents who did their best to give him home training but he was too slow to understand.

And it takes a retårded soul to suspect someone else of being retårded like them. Since I am not retårded like you, I will not call you a retårded cretin.

"Foreigners were able to label it death threat"; so you need a foreigner to label something a death threat and you accepted it? Are you not capable of independent thinking? I challenged you to analyze the tweet by yourself, but you spewed insults to defend why you couldn't.

You are a waste of sperm and egg.
Everyone from the 75 years primary 6 president to foreigners could understand the message except you. Is that not prove or retardation? Now you think I'm seeking the validation of Foreigners?.... I said they understand what you can't comprehend and asking for 3 page essay.

Are you not the fool that was showing screenshot of someone else's tweet and thinking belong Buhari (something that can was obvious)? Please get help, your IQ is slight above that of a sheep.

His Excellency President Buhari-Haram, is a joke.

Those with very basic understanding of technology can bye pass this ban like myself. It was too simple it reminded me of a horse that was roped to a plastic chair and it stayed put.

Now he would be wasting resources and time trying to censor social media while police men, soldiers and civilians are being killed daily. While price of everything is skyrocketing and riots is imminent from the way things are going. That clueless old fake general has is priority all wrong.

Can you write an essay on how 'use the language they understand' is a threat? I do not mean to insult you, but if I can receive 3 pages of that academic document convincing me that it is indeed a threat (which can be independently assessed by Mynd44), I shall send you 20k for data.

I pledge it to you today.
No I can't write an essay for retards like you. If you can't understand the passive aggressive nature of that message or don't understand English, I am sorry, it is not my responsibility to undertake the task of educating you (I am not qualified or have the patience for special needs individuals like yourself).

Foreigners were able to under it was a DEATH THREAT but you are incapable. You have made up your mind defend Buhari which is why you were showing screenshot that wasn't even from Buhari.

Please enjoy your blissful ignorance.

Did he issue death threats? My brother, I read that tweet. I did not see where he issued death threats. Many people condemning the tweet and praising Twitter have not read the tweet.

Twitter just enter Nigeria, shit for our head and waka comot by censoring our President. You just gagged him. No one can do that to a sitting President. He'd be killed.
The picture you show is the tweet of a foreigner (may be you don't even understand how Twitter works which is not an important skills, it's just a platform).

Buhari issues a death threat to YOUTHS taking part in protest for Biafra saying he 'use the language they understand' after talking about the first civil war. So Twitter removed the tweet. His ego is hurt, so he ban the. A week later.

Let those assessing Twitter be careful. The government can enforce a total ban on the internet in Nigeria for national security.

And there is nothing anyone would do about it. Having a right to internet or Twitter is not a constitutional right and is not a right that cannot be suspended in an emergency.

Please I have my misgivings about this administration, but I think Twitter went too far. I listened to President Buhari's speech and read the tweet, I think the issue was overflogged. And the Twitter ban is now being overflogged. Here is the tweet:

Let us look at that statement without blinkers. What exactly made Twitter delete it? Twitter wants to regulate governments, do you even know the implications of that? Who regulates Twitter?

I am not in support of this evil regime, but I support the ban. Someone told me that YouTube suspended TB Joshua because he healed a gay guy of his gayness and said he despised the act and not the man. Do you want to force me to accept what you accept? Is that not cultural misappropriation and a besmirching of my rights as a human being?

I pray other governments take the bull by the horns and regulate social media.
This looks like what that Femi spokes man would say. Supporting censorship because they reminded the president not to issues death threat to a minority group. He never addressed the killer headsman or terrorist with that zeal. You are on the wrong side of history.
PoliticsRe: Twitter Ban Difficult To Enforce In Nigeria, Say ICT Experts by faceland: 10:32am On Jun 05, 2021
This would eventually prove that the fear of NIN and BVN is hyped. Why? Because we have an incompetent government with incompetent government agencies. They would implement this with the same lackadaisical attitude they use in governing and securing the nation.

I don't use Twitter but from 7pm (after my break at work). I would start pumping out contents.

Well, if Buhari has a plan and don't want to trend internationally. He should ban both WhatsApp and Nairaland.

The concept of hash tags (on social media) originated from Twitter. Which is why they came for Twitter first (because there was a whole social movement called #EndSARS). Twitter was just the skin while the bones (structure) was WhatsApp and Nairaland.
