MrBrownJay1: Its not bad governance, it is the same ignorance that you portray in your post that killed that poor boy. Drop the pity blame ... "Oh poor us" and instead educate your damn kids to not play around fallen electrical wires. Or do you also want the gov to raise your damn kids too?!?! Arrant Nonsense!
You are sick. May such misfortune befall all kids in your generation.
Heartless B.A.S.T.A.R.D
This is why your kinds usually end up in jail soon as you step out of Nigerian soil.
Saying a 7year old deserve to be electrocutes because they weren't educated.
What about the NEPA who did substandard connection? We should clap for them
squarelead: Thank God for where I was born. What if we were given birth to in a land like that... We would have no choice. We are products of our environment
Where were you born
For your info these stuffs (and other weird ones) does happens at your backyard.
Hati13: Why do you insult them? It's their culture. There are also other Africans like this.
Ethiopia is diverse. Northern, southern, eastern and western Ethiopians are different. Even within those regions, there are so many diverse peoples.
Ethiopia is home to 80 ethnic groups, so Hamer people culture doesn't work to majority Ethiopians.
Many Nigerians (or do I say nairalanders) have never left their enclave since birth and they respond terribly and ignorantly to other people's ways and culture.
This same cultural practise exists under our nose but they don't know. The Fulanis (norther herdsmen in Nigeria) indulge in a similar but tougher cultural practise every year to determine who is debauching out of puberty and who is matured for marriage.
I witnessed these for nearly Twenty years in northern Nigeria yet some people would come here claiming it is Un-African and barbaric while the only true act of barbarism is their own ignorance of their history.
By the way MR. and MRS 21centuary, how do you explain this events from this link
Reading comments on here is making me wonder what kind of society we live in
I will say regardless of what might have happened he has no right, if he cab man is angry park and let the lady get out of your car. Some people are asking what did she do, something is missing the only thing missing is brain in the empty skull of the driver.
I dont care if the lady is rude, I can't imagine someone beating up my daughter, sister, mom..... because he beats his wife at home doesnt mean he can go around beating other lady to satisfy his male ego
This are the type of people that wont even argue with a male passenger
That tells you the caliber of people roaming the streets today. It's not just about Nairaland, it's about Nigerian youth in general. They lack rational thinking!
It's either follow-follow comments or absurd suggestions.
A taxi driver, an airline pilot, a ship captain or any person "whosoever" has no right to assault another person, male or female, in a society where there are established laws and order.
And if it's (shamefully) existent among us then we don't need to come online flaunting our barbarism.
nnokwa042: Tinubu attending babangidas daughter's wedding? no politician from Nigeria will even see signpost of heaven not to talk going there Jesus That apart my daughter is growing in the lord make una hail her
That's your daughter? She lovely. God bless you both.
keep it real with your family and the lord will see your through.
As for this landmass called Nigeria: it ain't over until it is over.
mybestlove: Who cares. Let them continue deceiving the country, the same termites will visit all men in the grave. That is equity in all, death awaits every human
unfortunately that includes you and I, the oppressed.

...yet the 80% are not complaining. They live in endless bliss. Contentment is always their first name.
Mean while the rest of the "supposedly educated" non Northerners can't go a day without counting their sorrows.
ExplorerReturns: why do I have the feeling that they actually performed threesom.e and he "ended on their back" abeg make person help me with that pics
May the lord have mercy on your soul and vaporize your (Afa Sule inspired) fantasies.
Sammy07: why can't they used the bolded alone,,, why must they write it in Arabic,,,
we even study French more than Arabic. why can't they write it in French
English is our official language why can't they write it in English
Hausa is army language why can't they write it in Hausa,, why must it be in Arabic since Arabic doesn't have anything to do in Nigeria except Muslims
You are not making sense, not to me at least.
They did exactly what you are suggesting. Maybe what you want is for them to interpolate the translation with Transliteration.
People who went to school and are properly educated don't write that way. The English language has rules.
Go over your post again and again, you will realise your error in statement.
You cannot interpolate Translation (of a statement or sentence) and still leave a Transliterated part in the statement or sentence.
You either write all in English language (which will contain the word 'God') or you write it out transliterated wise (substituting the word 'Allah' for God).
