Landed in London yesterday with my wife, we just picked up our BRP card from the post office not quite long... Thanks to duchess90 & everyone that has been supportive in the past few months... God bless you all

These are the questions we were asked yesterday at the POE


Why are you in the UK?
What's the Name of Your School?
What's your school Address?
Where are you staying? (if you’re not using school address, pls make sure the address you're telling the officer isn't far from school because the officer asked for Post code to check for distance)

Where's your Admission Letter?

He also asked for BSC Certificate

He asked for how much we've paid towards tuition, my wife responded & also gave him her CAS.

My wife was asked who is funding her, she responded with "My husband".
The officer asked me about what i do, i told him..

How are you going to pay the balance of your tuition? I told the officer that we have funds with us, he asked for proof, we gave him our updated bank statement that we printed a day before we travelled...

Good luck to those coming, and to those still waiting for their VISA approval, i wish you all the best..

No cause for alarm, it does not mean it was'nt uploaded. They did same to mine & i have gotten a decision..

Need help, did assisted service at TLS VI and just saw that they crossed out my financial evidence and TB certificate on the collection checklist, does this mean they didn't upload it?

It was just God all through the process, Oanda rate skyrocketed the second day we started our POF, from needing 17.5M to needing 27M.. I had to quickly add more funds to our POF and we started counting again..

During filling the application form, I even forgot to include my wife's GWF number, I only added her CAS number, I was scared when I found out & I couldn't cancel the application again as I've made payment for VISA & IHS.. We did self upload & also forgot to upload our passport Bio data page, but Grace covered us... No NSF

Is this supposed to be a question in the first place?? Isn't your POF for your study & maintenance purpose?..

You're to upload your POF to get CAS, a friend of mine is waiting for her POF to mature in other to get hers.

I just read that the CBN has devalued the naira from 461 to 631naira to a dollar. That should translate to about 787 to 800 naira to a dollar.
This could spell doom fir those still processing form A and even me that my POF is till running at my estimated 600 naira to a pound.
The CBN haven't updated their website anyway and OANDA rate hasn't changed too anyway and I just pray status quo remains for the next few weeks.

I have 2+ years of experience as a software developer here in Nigeria with a bachelors degree in computer science.
I’m looking at doing my masters in software engineering or any closely related course.
I don’t have all the money for tuition and all.
In fact, I have 6m for this project. I intend to work as to pay my balance and other bills.

Can I get a part time job as a software developer there?
I have a fiancé but I don’t have the funds to bring her as dependent for now, so she’s out of the picture for now.

I will appreciate a detailed reply from anyone as this will make me take a better decision.
I plan to come by January next year.

The truth of the matter is, you can't work to pay up the balance for your tuition fee, as you're only limited to 20hrs/week for work... The best thing would have been for you to bring in your wife as a dependant, but since you say you don't have enough funds to finance Dependant.. The best advice now is to hustle & gather more funds

I made an application on 27th of January for a course, 2 weeks later I made another application for another course in the same Westminster and I was given an unconditional offer for the second application on the last day of February (about 2 weeks after)
