Never let that feeling gets the best of your heart, and rob you of God's blessings and the long-awaited answers to your prayers.
He answers prayer, at his own appointed time. Just keep praying to him, do not relent in your efforts, draw closer to him, and most importantly, trust in Him. Without trusting and having faith in him, it is impossible to receive from him.

You need to identify the causes. Are you seeing a doctor/psychologist?

How is your diet like? Do you know there are some ingredients in things we eat that naturally causes depression?
For example, If you are someone who takes soda alot, or any zero sugar liquid, you need to stop, as most of those drinks contains "Aspartame" which has a lot of damaging effect, as well as causes depression.

I will advise you watch your meal, especially if you really do not know why you're depressed. Also I will advise you see a doctor, if you havent done so already.

No, I am not seeing a doctor or psychologist.
I rarely take any of those drinks though and I equally don't smoke or take alcohol. I cook most of my food myself. But life has been a bit unfairly unfriendly for a couple of months now and this is killing me. Sometimes I just wish to lock my door, sleep, and never come out again.

But honestly, this depression is eating deeper into me each day.

Oh my! What a fine young man and also in his final year at that.
If you know half of what people are going through you'd know suicide sometimes could seem a very 'normal' way out.
I'm going through a lot right now and sometimes the suicide thoughts flashes through my mind too, unfortunately so.

For the record, the Bible never said David danced the dance inside the church or temple as it were. It was actually outside his compound and his wife was watching from the upstairs. They brought the Ark and they were all celebrating and rejoicing at the sight of it 'outside' close to the palace and or temple and NOT inside the temple or synagogue.
